Dropped by on the way from Seattle to Portland. Not very crowded at 8pm, but the food was great, and a sizable helping. Definitely worth the detour off I-5!

I have been here about 300 times in the last 4 years. They generally have only one waitress there running the food and taking orders. For this reason, if it is busy you wait a bit. They are really fast 95% of the time. The food is always delicious, it is not expensive at all and most of all they have a salsa bar! They used to make an amazing salsa they called«grill sauce» and I frequented more because of my addiction to the sauce. They stopped making it about a year ago and my heart is still healing. Also, the Taco’s are enormous. I have never once gotten sick from eating here. Not.one.time.

Been going to this and several locations of tacos guaymas for over 10 years now. My go to for fresh Mexican food. In all those visits I’ve only ever tried 2 entrees(because they’re Sooo good): super taco salad with carne asada & wet burrito with carne asada. See a pattern? Their carne asada is moist, tender(just slightly chewy) and delicious!!! You won’t go wrong paying the $ 1.00 for the chips and salsa, decent portion, fresh, warm and great. Free salsa bar– I love their pico de gallo & limes. If you’re looking for something sweet to top off their flan is also amazing!

I love their super burrito but ticked off today because I had a frustrating experience either because of Eat 24 or the Tacos Guaymas employee… Placed my order(super taco salad) through the Unilocal app, waited 40 minutes. I showed up to pick it up and the lady at the cash register told me she didn’t know anything about it. I told her I ordered through Unilocal and she said they didn’t get it and just shrugged her shoulders then answered a phone call. I probably would have just ordered it again there in person had she not just disregarded what I said completely and answered the phone. So I left. Poor service from the restaurant. They shouldn’t offer a service if their employees aren’t up to date with the protocol.

My wife and I had very different experiences at the same time. First the customer service sucked. I didn’t realize customers were the problem with your business. The food was a different story. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken mole enchilada and my wife hated her torta. No flavor… It was like eating a tasteless block of food. Despite the fact that I love the flavors I won’t be back because of the un-customer service.

If your craving Mexican food, YOU need to check this place out! The staffs are amazing, there is a mini bar, the food is ready within 5−8mins of being seated(great service), and the food is so refreshing. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas, which was served with rice and fresh cut tomatoes, lettuce, topped with sour cream. My friends had the«wet burrito» which was only $ 8 and the«enchiladas with tamales» for $ 10 — the serving amount was more than what we imagined, enjoyed every bites, and overall… I loved it!

My go to taco place in Tacoma. People who work there are friendly and greet me when I come in. Always good food, well seasoned meat with generous portions. I also like the choice of beans they give you. I like their black beans. They have a nice salsa bar with all sorts of good shit. Pickled carrots, picked red onions, Pico De Gallo, habanero sauce, limes, radishes, salsa Verde and a couple other salsas. The only thing I would change about this place — PLEASEGUYS, PLEASE get cotija cheese or queso fresco! Mexican food just doesn’t taste right without it! I think people would love it.

I had carne asada tacos, and a chili rellano. Outstanding. The Chili was best I’ve ever had. The tacos were also excellent. The Horchatta was a bit sweet for my taste but was very good as well. The salsa bar was simple straightforward and accented the food perfectly.

It’s great food featuring the usual stomach-bursting south-of-the-border plates. Their salsa bar is a good addition. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. But, beware. .. it can be a bit expensive. And they do charge for chips, which is something that I’ve rarely seen elsewhere until recently.

We had a craving for Mexican food and didn’t want to make the drive all the way to our favorite spot, so we decided to try this place out again. I’m not too sure what happened from the last time we were here, but we were really disappointed. The flautas were way over cooked, like they had been forgotten in the fryer, not to mention there was hardly any chicken in them; the carne asada had no flavor and was also pretty chewy. At first I liked this place because they weren’t scared to use seasoning and spices in their food, but now the only thing that had any flavor was the habanero sauce. I’m not sure if they were just having an off night, but I’m not going to be able to convince my boyfriend to go back after the lack of authenticity. Next time we will take the drive to our go-to Mexican food place.

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had out of all 50 states! I went as a group of 3 and we were all blown away with the portions, price, flavor, service, etc. Huge portions! Tons of flavor! We each had a different burrito to try and a plate of nachos to share. With that the guys also ordered tamales. Where we come from we are used to small portions and sides with sides. It was more than enough food here! I highly recommend trying the Rice Water they have at the counter. It is now a favorite drink of ours. Service was very welcoming and helpful.

Good food! I’ll be back for this Mexican food. We had the steak tacos, fish taco, enchilada and tamale plate, and steak burrito. Everything was delicious. There are many tasty salsas to choose from and pico d Gallo very good!

Expect a super clean place, happy workers, pretty menu with pictures, and fast service! We got the wet chile Colorado burrito and were going to split it. The cashier overheard that my wife and I were going to split it and no more than 5 minutes later our food came out already divided! I love the service here. The salsa is just as beautiful as it is delicious. How many times have you had beautiful salsa?! We just love it here. The burrito was large yet so full of fresh ingredients that we weren’t weighed down after the meal. The portions of the burritos were perfect to split and it was only $ 8! There is a bar section and it looked like they had a great selection. I really want to try more of the menu. Hope I make it back down soon!

This is, by far, the best Mexican food you’ll find in the Tacoma area. It’s a bit out-of-the-way, it’s a little drive, the neighborhood isn’t the greatest but the food is fabulous. I only wish they had Horchata that was Dairy free. :)
