The Cobra Lounge

So I’ve been to the cobra multiple times before and I loved it. I love how you can request songs to be played. Great place to go to after a party or after the club. Although last time I went I got bronchitis from the hookah which was terrible. And another thing is sometimes the hookah doesn’t produce as much smoke as you want them to. I’d get better hookahs if I was them. But overall I have a fun time every time I go lol!

Promt service, clean facility, good music. The hookah itself (we had orange flavor) was good. I wish they have some kind of liquor bar inside.

Went to a hookah lounge when I was 17 in South Carolina, they didn’t even care who walked in. Finally turned 18 when I came back and what I love about Cobra, is that they actually care and keep track, watched someone working there politely tell someone to either check in with their membership and ID or leave. Very friendly staff there as well.

My first time at a Hookah Lounge. I am not sure how the prices are supposed to be so, I think they were kind of high.
There is two levels, which is nice. The upper level is more private. I think there was just one bathroom, I just walked with my friend because she had to go.
The music was coo, it would be really good for a few songs then get wack. But I am sure they have to switch up the genres to please all the different types of people that are in there. The crowd is diverse which is nice.
We were able to get a parking spot right in front but that looks like it gets filled up fast. I am not sure where else you would park near by.
It was in a great location right off the freeway.

I’ve been here on multiple occasions, usually with a few friends. never a large group. Let’s just clear this up — for everyone complaining about slow service on Friday and saturrday nights — that’s the busiest days of the week for a hookah lounge establishment surrounded by bars. Get over it. This place is chill, the hookah-​tenders are pretty ontop of their game, and they’re never rude if you stop them and ask them for something. Their vending machine has bics which is pretty sweet. They do play primarily hip hop, but think biggie, too short, and ice cube hip hop. You may hear a top 100 song, but they’re far and few between. Nice place, nice atmosphere but as other reviewers mentioned, if you go on a busy night you’ve got to have a tolerance for idiots. :) Happy hookah-​ing! To the cry babies, go on a Tuesday night instead of a Saturday if you want ultra attentive personal service.

Smoke Clouds: Fair maybe it’s because of the air flow in the room, so I will negate this factor in this review process.
Customer Service: Decent stopping by at least once in a 20 minute period for a lounge is highly recommended to receive exceptional service and making a customer feel appreciated. Making sure the smoke is fine and flavor is up to par, a simple hello.

This is a decent lounge considering the experiences I have traveling to different cities and states. Overall not a bad experience but their is no wow factor here. I don’t see anything that really makes this place any different then most lounges in Washington. I might try this place again.

Awesome place to hang out. Great environment, good music, and a very friendly staff. Sam had exceptional and quick service. Though it was my first time there he made me feel like I was a regular. It’s a fun place to be during the evenings!

The music is good but that’s about it. I waited about 15 min to be seated another 15 – 20 min to get our bowl and 10 min for the coals. By far the longest I’ve ever waited to smoke hookah. Either they need to hire more people or have more workers working that night because it seemed like only guy was doing it all from charging to bringing you the bowls and the coals.
Price wise its pretty pricey compared to where I’ve been. You pay for a «membership» first off then for the shisha you want and if you don’t have cash they have an atm which obviously charges you. Don’t really recommend this place.

Went to this place for the first time last Saturday night and encountered the worst customer service that I had encountered in a really long time. To make things worse, i run into this issue from the manager.
After waiting for half an hour as we were told the wait would approximately be, I came in and politely asked for another time estimate since we were coming up on the list. I don’t know what it was but the young mixed-​race gentleman seemed really annoyed by the question and didn’t answer it replying with a cocky «Obviously, since i didn’t call you yet you aren’t up». Long story short, the conversation went further and he even pulled the race card on me.
I’m not sure how he came to be a manager of the place but from my perspective and many others that were listening to the conversation, he was incredibly unprofessional.
First and last time I have been there was an awful experience and I really don’t recommend providing them with service that they don’t deserve.

Awful hookah bar. Every time I’ve been (4 times) there’s been over an hour wait. The bowls are overpriced and the shisha all taste the same. The workers are very immature and unprofessional and the service is horrible. The establishment is way too hot with no air consulting and not it is not clean They don’t take card and their ATM has been broken for a year so if you don’t have cash you have to walk down a block to the closest ATM. All in all if you don’t want to have a fun night this is the place for you.

Let me just say, it does appeal to a certain crowd.
So. if you don’t like hip pop, are a clean freak, never has cash, and cannot tolerate some people acting stupid than this is not the place for you.
Me and my group of 8 went on a Friday night and waited about 25 mins when they said it would be about a 30 – 60 min wait. You’re bound to run into some people you may know.
They have friendly people working and who checked up on us and when we asked to move places to somewhere more open (we were in a corner) they were chill about it and moved us to a different spot. If we were all drunk like everyone else there than it probably would have been a lot more fun.

If you’re an under aged girl trying to get some phone numbers on a tuesday night at 1 am… This is the place for you!
The mixed shishas couldnt be better or more creative with their blend of natural herbs and spices. The bulbasaur actually taste like pokemon, the sex panther has bits of real panther and the love potion might be laced with chloroform.
If your there on a friday night youll probably see me in the wooden chair with my name engraved on it, and if a hipster looking guy with a beanie and a beard is working the counter his names sam and if you tip him well he’ll make sure your night is excellent;)
All in all, I would say this is by far the best hookah lounge in the pnw, enjoy.

Excellent smoke, chill ambience, mix of new and old school beats all night. Planning to be early is planning to have a relaxing time. This place is different. The vibe is great. Come here if you’re looking for a good time. Yes, the place could be a little cleaner but what do you expect when it is packed and dimmed? Please don’t come by if you’re more worried about it being «sticky». If you’re picking at little things at a hookah bar (of all places), you need to relax a little and just smoke and chill out on the couch!

Waited an hour for a coal. The music isn’t good… made me almost fall asleep. Cash only and ATM was broke. Couches are sticky and burnt. Blah no thanks.

I liked the place. Membership for a year is only $ 5? Awesome. Pretty cheap top bowl? Awesome. However, I didn’t like the music; I’m not into sexist, ghetto rap (which was on and loud the entire hour I was there.) I also didn’t like the fact that it was a complete sausage fest. It didn’t seem all that female friendly. I’m glad I was with my boyfriend and not alone. Also, they don’t accept credit cards. You have to have cash. There’s an ATM on the premises but it’s broken.

Worst place ever. Bad signage of cash only, their ATM was broken, had to walk all the way to my bank like a mile away, only to get back to find you need a membership to fucking go there. $ 5 per person plus like $ 20 per bowl of sheesha. Plus waiting over 15 minutes in line only to be told you need a membership to go. After consideration, I don’t think I will ever go in there again. Not very friendly, poorly run, bad signage, and I’m not into rap or hip hop. Count me out. If I could rate a zero I would. Me and my bf tried going there the 16^th.

Worst place to smoke hookah. Never ever going back. Fuck this place. End of story.

Hit up the Cobra Lounge tonight after hearing good things from friends. I can’t say that I will be passing the word along.
First impressions were awesome, the guy at the front desk was very informative, gave thorough descriptions on the 6 flavors they had for the night. The environment is very chill and comfortable, lighting was perfect, just seems like a cool place to kick back and relax.
BUT looks can be deceiving, the first couple drags left a disappointing taste rotting through my mouth. Not what I was expecting for an expensive $ 20 bowl.
I am unsure if the hookah had not been cleaned recently or if it was just a leftover taste from a previous bowl. I didn’t stick around long enough to discern the sour taste. It may just be that they are using soap to clean the hookahs and not rinsing thoroughly, but the ball bearing on the air exchange valve was rusted solid.
Pros: Outright rad environment, super comfy seating
Cons: Expensive prices, unsavory smoke taste
In my opinion if you are looking for a hookah lounge experience focused more on crisp smoke flavor and clean hookahs, then I suggest the Venus and Mars lounge located behind the Smoke Depot on 6^th Avenue. If you are more interested in a relaxing environment, then this is your place.
