Been here a hand full of time, the inside always seems clean and the staff is friendly. I drink dirty martini’s and the bartender(Pebbles) took the time to learn the way I like them made. The food I enjoy the chicken wings but they have specials everyday plus portion sizes are large and the prices are low.

Well came back had a Ruben, really good but the burger patty I had added to it was disgusting. My husband took one bit of his burger and said what is this. We let them know it was horrible and rubbery. Asked if it was frozen, it was so bad I cannot believe they advertise burgers. I will not order another burger, nor will I come back. Gunnar who was nice, I believe is clueless on service and on working in a bar establishment. After we sent the burger back we did not expect to see it on the bill. It was on the bill, which ticked me off immediately. So the burger that was on the bill was what he received for a tip. It was the first time I have ever not tipped out a bartender or server even when service had been worse. Absolutely disappointed. Will not be back.

Cheap drinks. $ 1 beers on Saturdays. Food is good. Big portions. Service is decent even on a busy night. Friendly staff.

Food was good, $ 1 beers were watered down but hey it’s $ 1. The only complaint I have is that the music was far too loud, my girlfriend and I couldn’t hardly hear each other from across the table.

Great priced. Food is okay. Fun and relaxed atmosphere to play pool or sing kareoke. Mostly college kids from PLU. Welcoming and your wallet will be happy after paying your tab!

You need security. So much violence takes place there. 2 people knocked out within two weeks. Cops there 4 times in the last month. Over serving people and high violence you should be shut down. Watch your back when your there. Get some security and quit over serving people. Nothing but a problem bar.

The Haven is one of those places where everyone is a regular and everyone knows everyone else. It’s a good place to grab a drink, chill with friends, and shoot some pool. The food is ok, nothing special, just the typical bar food — sandwiches, burgers, pizza, etc. It does look a little sketchy from the outside and I would have never gone in if it hadn’t been for my boyfriend. Looks can definitely be deceiving! My bf and his friends usually go on Wednesday nights for meat night. What’s a meat night, you ask? It’s a meat raffle and $ 10 gets you 15 tickets in the pot. Drawings start at 6 or 6:30 and continue through the evening until all the prizes are gone. When I went last, I walked away with some pork chops, havarti cheese, capicola, and beef snacks. Can’t wait to go back to win some more meat!

Had a Groupon and decided to go see what The Haven had to offer. Looks much nicer on the inside than the outside. Ordered our meals and there was a slight mix up with one order, but they didnt question us and remade it as quickly as possible. Very attentive staff everyone asked us if we were doing well and if we needed anything frequently. All in all a great experience. Will go back to try some on their daily food deals!

French dip was pretty good. Should of sent the chicken back. It was the size of a small pigeon. We were very disappointed. We’ve been here many times and service has always been great. Only major complaint is only one refill on soda. None of my friends drink alcohol. That is CHEAP! For this reason we don’t go very often. Change your rules and we will be back more often.

II was looking for a place to eat before a concert at PLU. When I drove up to it I almost turned around because it was a tavern. There was a man smoking at the entrance which turned me off. But I thought I should just take a risk and walk in. Typical tavern setting. The server was extremely nice and helpful and she seemed to help me get rid my awkward feeling. The food was great. Service was great. Will make this a regular place to eat before attending concerts at PLU.

I’m gonna put this short and sweet… the service is hit and miss, the mixed drinks are over priced($ 11 for a trash can!!!), the servers are always friendly… the IT factor to this place is the night life crowd… always a great group of people in there that make for a very entertaining night out! The KJ on Karaōke night is great and there’s something heart warming about the whole bar singing along with a daring soul who decided to try«Baby got back» or some other fun flashback to 80’s/early 90’s rap! Love coming here on the weekends for a few drinks and some good times!

Been doing business with Annette for many years. She is a true professional who will treat you like a friend when you visit the Haven Tavern. Plenty of food and fun here. Don’t miss a chance to eat here!

If its Pizza your cravin’, go to The Haven. IMO the thin crust is where its at. The thick’s a little doughy. They got one with this weird, sweet Polynesian sauce-don’t bother. Just stick w/the basics. The reader board says«best pizza in town» Bit of a lofty statement. The San Marco pizza at Marzano is the bomb. But if you want a solid pie, by all means, give it a try.

So… I’m a college kid at PLU. That really should pretty much say it all if you know the area. The Haven could kind of be considered… PLU’s very unofficial college bar. It’s not a bad bar by any means. Prices are affordable(especially on Thursdays when they have dollar domestic drafts from 3 – 7), the food is definitely yummy(quesadillas, sandwiches, calzones, nachos, steaks, kabobs – all favorites among my friends), and the staff is generally pretty cool. They’re as efficient as one could hope. If you want it really quick, go to the bar and you’ll have your drink in a matter of seconds. Willing to wait? The cocktail waitress will get to you lickety split. Sometimes they can be pretty darn busy, and it can be hard to find a place to sit… especially if you come with a big group. But it’s never been such a plan that(anyone I know at least) has been inclined to believe. There is a nice outdoor area, which has been covered by a tent lately… this is definitely a happy thing since we live in Western Washington. They have karaōke one night a week(I’m not sure which night), the game is always on when it should be, and there are two coin operated pool tables. Overall, it’s a bar. It’s not a night club. It’s not some high end lounge. And if your looking for a decent place to come sit down, have a few cold ones, watch the game maybe, heck even get something to eat(ooh they have pretty great happy hour specials M-F)… the Haven is not a bad place to do it. Or, so I think. But then again, it’s barely two blocks away from my house. You can’t beat that.
