Yesterday I went to Uni Teriyaki because it was right up the street. I got combination t8 with beef and chicken teriyaki. I asked the lady for extra rice instead of saled for no extra charge. The chicken teriyaki was amazing but the beef teriyaki was good but not the best had a Lil bit of fat on it which made it chewy. The food was definitely hot and fresh but it needs more sauce. Overall it was good. Ate it all up.

There gyoza — amazing. Their teriyaki chicken is really fatty so I stick to the chicken breast. The yakisoba was disappointing. Really ginger tasting and lacked veggies. Wouldn’t order again. The hard part is that they change for extra sauce which adds up when it’s what adds flavor. Overall it’s decent but there’s better, just further away.

The food is really good but there is only one girl that is the cashier/waitress therefore it takes FOREVER to get your food. The food is great but the service is terribly. The girl always seems to have an attitude and isn’t very friendly. This is not a family place because the girl is very unfriendly especially towards children. Also, This is the only teriyaki place I have been to that chargeds the Sauce for extra what the heck. Would rather go somewhere else…

Great teriyaki chicken regular and spicy. Combos are a great value, I like the sweet and sour chicken with chow mein. TONS of food for a good price. Also they are open on Sunday’s! They are always super quick.

I get the house fried rice anytime I go to teriyaki, and this is hands down the best one I’ve had so far. Because house fried rice is so many meats thrown into it a lot of times its bland or can get over cooked but with Uni’s, it was very flavorful and cooked right. And for the price, my husband and I were able to eat for under $ 20 for two meals. So one of the better teriyaki joints I’ve been too

Great food and great atmosphere. Uni Teriyaki is a delicious place to eat for teriyaki fans like myself. Also, you get a lot of food for what you pay for, which is awesome for college students. I’ll be coming back here for sure! GOLUTES!

Pretty good Chicken Teriyaki. Could use a little more meat on the plate, And whats up with the salad? not a fan of salad with my Teriyaki everywhere I go. It runs into the rice and then makes the rice taste like ranch or whatever salad dressing they use. Great Customer Service and the food is delivered to your table fast. Lots of Parking and the inside is clean as well.

Fast To Go service! Enjoyed the yakisoba and teriyaki chicken. Sesame chicken and sweet&sour chicken wasn’t my favorite(maybe because it was to go, not very crispy when I got home). Great egg roll, good potstickers.

Been here twice & both times the food was fresh &SUPER quick. This last time I ordered the House Special: entrée of rice & teriyaki chicken, entrée of rice & teriyaki beef, entrée of rice & sweet & sour chicken, entrée of rice & chicken yakisoba, 3 sides of salad, 2 egg rolls &10 gyoza — this was enough food to feed 5 adults & my 3-year old with some left overs… & the best part — $ 28 for all of it! They had it out in less then 10 minutes & it all tastes fresh. They also have punch cards & after ten meals you get a free one! One of my favorite teriyaki spots. TERIYAKICHICKEN: Not the best ever but good & tender with lots of sauce. Still tasted good as left overs. TERIYAKIBEEF: Same as teriyaki chicken ^ YAKISOBA: Good flavor & garlicky but not enough veggies for me SWEET&SOURCHICKEN: Personally I’m just not a fan of sweet & sour chicken. The one doesn’t come with pineapple, green peppers, or onions. But it came with the House Special & there were no left overs of this one. GYOZA: VERYGOOD& fresh!!! Tastes good next day too!

Great little place to get some good Teriyaki. The don’t drown your food in sauce here. The portions are decent size. Price is average for Teriyaki. Place always seems busy and clean.

Wow, I am so impressed. I walked in rather close to closing time. It was packed! Very clean and friendly staff, who were swamped with orders & still meeting everyone’s needs. I was in the restaurant for maybe 5 minutes. That includes waiting in line, ordering & waiting for food. I also ordered the T1&C9 with a gyoza side. This food is delicious! 10⁄10 go there! Taste the deliciousness!

It’s an Americanized teryaki joint. Enough said. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and you get plenty of food at a good value.

The quality of the food was bad! Our meal tasted like rubber. They poured too much teriyaki sauce on the meat and all you can taste is the salty sauce all over the meat and not only did they pour too much on the meat, they also had way too much salad dressing on the darn salad. I was very disappointed because I read some good reviews about them and even when we got there, the place looked very inviting and also very clean and you’d think they’d have some delicious food but I guess that was wrong! Along that line, I’ve had some good teriyaki experience with the small diners scattered around tacoma/parkland area and regrettably Uni teriyaki wasn’t one. Although, the waitress was very friendly and pleasantly welcoming.

Fast and Tasty! Uni’s core competencies are definitely Teriyaki Chicken, Spicy Teriyaki, Yakisoba, Gyoza, and Tempora. These are all very good, as is the sticky rice. Portions are great for the price, and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and courteous. In the last 6 years, I’ve never been disappointed. The restaurant is clean and in a great location. I’ve ventured to some other menu items other than what I mentioned above, and I haven’t been impressed — — Stick with the standard items and you’ll be very pleased.

I’ve been to Uni three times in the past two weeks, and each time I’ve ordered a different dish. So far I’ve tried the chicken breast teriyaki, mongolian beef, and spicy shrimp. and gyoza. All were very tasty and flavorful. I haven’t experienced the small portions mentioned by other posters, but as those posts are from two years ago, perhaps this issue has been corrected. What I liked. I really appreciate that the meats used are very lean. Ive been to many teriyaki places that give you meats that are full of fat and gristle. Hate that. Not a fan. I generally will not re-visit an establishment that serves that type of food. Their teriyaki sauce has it’s own flavor, which is pretty good. It doesn’t taste like every other joint. The gyoza are really good. I they’re fried, not steamed. It’s a nice change as most places stem them. It’s a light fry, meaning it’s not greasy. Spicy shrimp at level 4 was nice and hot! SPICY! What I didn’t like. The shrimp was tough and had a very strong, «fishy» odor to them that you could smell through the seasoning of the dish. I’m from Chalmette, LA, and if I know anything, I know about shrimp. This is a tel-tale sign of shrimp that’s not fresh. I’m finding this to be a tough one in these types of places, as they’re not hitting fish markets on a daily basis to get the freshest ingredients. I understand why they don’t, as it’s expensive, but in the end, the dish suffers because of it. I was aware of the chance of this when I ordered, so I wasn’t too surprised when I got my order. That being said, it didn’t ruin the dish, but it wasn’t as good as it could have been if the shrimp had been fresh. Bottom line, if your business is doing even moderately well, never skimp on fresh seafood. The Mongolian beef was good. I liked it overall, but what disappointed me were the red chili peppers. They were near flavorless, and had the texture of very dry cardboard. Usually, eating one of these things will light your mouth up, but not these. Again, otherwise a good dish. Overall I will go back and try more dishes. The servers have been very nice and welcoming. Each time I’ve gone, there’s always been people in the dining room, which is a sign of a good place to eat.
