I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon after seeing the reviews on here. The person who took our order seemed very bored and tired of her job. I ordered the Al Pastor Burrito. I noticed the meat didn’t have much flavor, the refried beans seemed like they had been left over from the previous day and the rice was somewhat undercooked. I only tried their red salsa it was spicy but it seemed to be lacking some flavor. As a taqueria I was disappointed to pay $ 7.99 for a burrito that was mediocre at best. As I had not tried the seafood I cannot speak for their mariscos. I would have given it one star from my experience but one of my co-worker liked the fried tilapia he ordered.

Probably the BEST Mexican place in town! authentic food, great taste and very reasonably priced! Love it! Not sure if they deliver or not, would eat there much more often if they did though!

Very good food for the price. I was very happy with my choice. I tried the chips and salsa, both were fresh. I ordered the shredded beef taco plate. Beef was very moist and delicious. Good spot for lunch.

I had the fish tacos they were amazing. Their salsas are great but be careful because they are HOT! The service is good typical authentic Mexican style. Large menu. Great little place in Taft.

We are in search of the perfect out-of-the-way Mexican places to eat in small towns in California! We stopped at Tacos y Mariscos Casa Tabares because we could see it was hopping! The service was just right, and the food was truly excellent. Chips straight out of the deep fryer, chipotle-style salsa, huevos rancheros with beans slathered on the plate beneath the tortillas; shrimp tacos on the most heavenly tortillas. Salsas were varied, tasty, and showed originality. Not expensive but truly valuable!

Food was very good. I ordered the 7 mares soup and tried the camarones aguachiles. Definatly recommend this place. The only problem I had was it looked a little dark and the salsa they give with chips was very watery, personally I prefer a more chunky salsa, but still I would defiantly come again
