New & Used Tahoe Sports

I arrived in Tahoe with my girlfriend and her parents for a weekend ski trip… without any ski gear! D’oh. Enter N.U.T.S. (aka New and Used Tahoe Sports.)
This small place has all types of snow gear, including ski pants, gloves, actual skis, ski boots, and ski jackets. The selection isn’t huge, and it’s very possible they won’t have your exact size, but I got what I needed. I was looking for snow pants in particular… I’d say they had 20 pairs in different colors and styles.
For $ 44, I got a pair of black ski pants that goes for $ 170-​$ 200 online. It’s important to note that this is a consignment store, meaning some of the merchandise is used gear people have brought in for sale. But you’ll be skiing in this stuff, and you’ll probably be wearing it over additional clothes, so it’s really all the same to me (and totally worth the discount). Throw in the fact that I’ll only be using these one or two weekends a year, and it’s really a no-​brainer.
Unilocal doesn’t have much to say about this business, but the steady stream of people in and out of this store tells me N.U.T.S. saved more than just my weekend on the slopes!

Love this place. We get all our ski gear here. Not only is the owner helpful but so was Julie. I would highly recommend this establishment to get all your ski gear either brand-​new or thru consignment as they are amazing and affordable
