I’ve been visiting an aesthetician regularly for close to 20 years, and Mia is absolutely the best. She is priced right, very efficient with her time, and uses a great product. She has never burned me, and gets my brows to just the right shape (and they are not symmetrical so that isn’t all that easy). Her room is comfortable and quiet, and everything is totally clean. It’s also very simple to get an appointment — just text her! So happy I found Mia. No reason to keep searching when you’ve found the best.

Mia is absolutely amazing. I just recently moved to the Tahoe area and needed to find my new go to place for a Brazilian. I use to get Sugared when I lived in the Bay Area so I was looking for a place that used gentle, natural ingredients. I also needed to make an appointment as soon as possible because I was leaving for Vegas in a few days. Mia was nice enough to squeeze me into her busy schedule.
Her studio is located on top of Blue Agave. As soon as I met Mia, she was a doll. She knew I was nervous since I’m use to being sugared rather than waxed. She introduced all her products to me which I really liked. She actually uses wax and strips for the top and a hard wax for the rest of the area. She is very gentle and talks to you in order to distract you from the pain. She also introduced me to jojoba oil which has been a life saver. See you in a few weeks!

Cara Mia is such a soothing presence and a hoot to boot! She give the BEST bikini wax in ALL of TAHOE HANDS DOWN! My skin has NEVER felt more smooth she is truly the Bikini Whisperer! You have got to experience her at least once in your lifetime! You won’t regret it! xoxo

Mia is so loving and fun to spend time with and she is professional, thorough, and excellent at facials, waxing, and make-​up. I wouldn’t rust anyone other than Mia for my spa services.

She is happy to share her extensive skin care knowledge without «pushing» services on you or making you feel guilty for bad skin care habits. This lovely facial/​wax studio gets an A++. Mia gives the most incredible facial that I now prefer her facial to getting a massage. My skin feels rejuvenated and beautiful after my session with Mia. She is a true professional — the BEST! She is also very talented and quick with the brazilian wax, so my fiancé loves her as much as I do. I would never go anywhere else.
