After walking around browsing the stores my family and I came across this cute little pet shop and we are so happy we stopped in! The owner was super friendly and really seems to care about the pets. Had a friendly chat and she doesn’t sell the products in her store for profit, she tries them out with her own pets first and only sells products that she really believes in. So many natural products for my dog that I wanted to buy! We always stop by pet stores on vacations to buy a gift for our dog and out of all the pet stores we have been to while on vacation I would have to say this place has been my all time favorite! Perfect place to shop for your pets, definitely recommend checking it out for your best friend :)

Great selection of healthy pet food, treats, toys and clothes. I live on the Westshore five months a year and take my pets here most days for a visit and a treat. Great customer service!

SO wonderful to have this pet store in Tahoe City. My dog is restricted to a certain type of dog food (Call of the Wild) and it is so nice to know Scraps carries it. The staff is very knowledgable and sweet. They are a joy to talk to and know a lot about animals. They have a wonderful toy selection and about every collar choice your animal could ever want. I highly reccommend it.

Great location right next to Safeway, although that parking lot is often over crowded. Each time I have gone in there to spoil my dogs, the customer service has been great. They take the time to answer all my questions and know a lot about the products. The toy selection is constantly changing. Last Christmas I bought a bunch of the recommended tough toys for my boarder collies and amazingly, they have all held up to a brutal chewing. Shop local.
