Nice place to stop in Tahoe City if you are looking to grab a glass of wine in the evening. Good selection/mix of wines. You can also taste 3 wines from the menu which is a great deal if you are looking for a bit more variety. Surprisingly the menu is not dominated by Californian wines, although I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more on there given the proximity to Lodi, Amador County and such. Also a good place to stop in and pick up a bottle or two to take home. There are some reasonably priced wines there. Also the service has been good each time I have been.

First of all I will say this place wasn’t too bad for a tasting room to be located in Tahoe. I am a wine snob, I will say that I wasn’t crazy about any that I tasted– but not a bad deal to taste 3 wines for 10 bucks. If you are in the area it is definitely worth the stop… I also liked how the wines were creatively stored a long side the walls.

The poor girl delt with 6 of us and we are not quit people. But she was so fabulous! She was so sweet and nice kept conversation going the whole time. She was such a sweetheart and I will definitely be coming back! I really wish I could remember her name. She is super cute curly hair… anyways she deserves a raise for shizzle!

A nice wine bar where you can comfortable sit and taste 3 wines for $ 10. The staff is always friendly and informative. They have some snacks such as a cheese plate, olives, almonds. There’s even a small number of beers for those who may prefer it. We’ve also bought many bottles as they offer a nice selection at fair prices.

Great service, quaint environment and excellent wine! We each did a flight of 3 wines so were able to have 6 different varieties for $ 20! Great place for before or after dinner!

My family and I visited Uncorked on our Tahoe trip to buy some nice wine to send to family in France and Peru. The gentleman there was very knowledgeable and charismatic; we were served 3 sample glasses of wine for about $ 10 each. He was informative about which were the best wines for certain tastes and occasions, and we left with three bottles of some really good stuff! It’s a great place if you want to buy some nice local wine.

We came in for happy hour. 20 dollars for 2 glasses of wine and a cheese platter. This is a great price in Tahoe city. We really liked it. Our server was very knowledgable and friendly. We would definitely recommend

I love this place! Great wine menu and wonderful ambience. We always meet new people and see people we know. Also the cheese plate is delish with a nice selection and local yummy bread. It is really my favorite place in Tahoe City and we try to go to as many of the winemaker events which have introduced us to different wineries and the winemakers themselves. Always a wonderful time.

HELLO… It’s Lake Tahoe. One of the most beautiful places in CA! Can you really beat wine tasting with the Lake in the background??? Uncorked was fun and fabulous. Great selection. Unpretentious servers. Friendly and kind. Five of us had 6 different flights. All of us had two glasses of our favorites. Enjoyed ALL of it Can’t wait to go back!

I recommend the artisan cheese plate($ 12), and the flight of 3 wines(2 oz each) paired to go with it($ 10): Along with that great pairing, there is always great conversation all around at the bar. There is never a dull moment here. However, I do not recommend the happy hour special, which is a cheese plate and 2 wines($ 20), because it comes with the two cheapest wines on the menu(a chardonnay and a cab), which are unworthy in my opinion: spend the extra $ 2 for the better pairing.

Nice little wine bar. Great selection of California wines with wines by the glass, flight, and bottle. Nice view of the golf course that is behind the bar.

What a great wine bar! The layout is really welcoming. The prices are truly fantastic. Three wine flight for ten bucks! Pretty darn reasonable. I noticed they also had some other specials… ladies night, happy hour type deals, etc. We enjoyed some California wines, an Italian white, an Oregon Pinot and eyed some of their other vinos for future reference. The young woman bar tending was very cool, helpful and knowledgable. The place has a great feel with a view of the lake across the road. Lots of warm wood furnishings definitely let you know you’re in Tahoe. I would certainly return to this local spot. Oh, they have a couple more wine shops around the area that are owned by the same purveyor as this spot.

Really cute and cozy little wine bar, just off the highway on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Uncorked is owned by Tahoe local Kali Kopley, and is one of the most fun places to hang out in the whole region. They also have locations at Squaw Valley and in Truckee. Kali’s wine knowledge and business genius is what make Uncorked so much fun. All locations have a fantastic selection of interesting wines, all at very reasonable prices, and a great atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and upbeat. What a fun place to go!

What a great little place! We happened upon this wine bar and wine store on our last ski trip. Judah, the manager, was amazing. We enjoyed a couple of tastings and also bought lots of wine. Everything was delicious. We also loved the cheese plate that they serve up. We went back the next night for more tasting and more shopping. We even joined their wine club. We love this place and will definitely go back. Great selection, great atmosphere. Fun, fun, fun.

A couple months back my date and I decided to take a drive around the Lake and came upon this place. It was a great find! It was early in the day so it was pretty dead inside which was nice because we both just wanted to relax and chat. Not only do they serve wine but they also have a beer selection. I highly recommend the salmon cheese plate it accommodates any glass of white wine really well! The owner is real kind and makes you feel comfortable, She was easy to start up a conversation with.

The ambiance is friendly, cozy, and relaxing. The employees are always friendly. The wines by the glass are interesting and creative choices(red Spanish sparking wine, for example) and are reasonably priced – $ 6-$ 14 dollars the last time I visited. It is very much like a bar, but for oenophiles. The cheese selection is very good, also.

ATTENTION!!! This place has a new name(Uncorked) and owner(Debbie). We stopped in for a glass of wine while walking the shops. Debbie is very friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended the special,(two glasses of wine and a cheese plate). We tried three cheeses, which were delicious and enjoyed our wine talking with a few locals. We wish we had a nice place like this near our home.
