Hey, it’s good for what you pay, and the quantity of food is great. It looks okay inside. The folks are nice. The food comes quickly. The menu is straight forward. ’nuff said.

I have lived here 9 months and never noticed it till last week. Its in a weird spot next to a quicky mart store. I ordered take out and it was ok. took a long time to get my food. 30 min wait to pick up order then 15 plus more waiting for the woman to retrieve and ring up my food. Very bright boring atmosphere and glad I didnt eat in. Had the tomato beef noodle… was ok and the shrimp/scallions, both had ALOT of veggies and not much meat. But it was lite and not oily. I may try them again because there close and it wasnt bad, just not great.

Love it. The service is excellent & food is prepared to order exactly how you want it. The prices are very affordable & they give you massive portions. I always feel good leaving with a belly full of nutritious food. I like Mei Sum a lot & would definitely recommend them. I gave my housemate some leftover veggie fried rice — he said«where did you get this!?» — as he chowed down the entire carton. @ Andreas B — I assure you the veggies are not canned. They are crispy & deliscious. My girlfriend is a very picky eater, and she also loves the food here.

Do not order the Lo Mein… and it was absolutely the most disgusting Chinese food we’ve ever ever had… the noodle were drenched in some disgusting margarine sauce… made us both sick. told the waitress and she didn’t care.spent.over $ 20 to get sick. YUCK!!!

Food was great and service good!:) We received what we were expecting. Ordered the letter A family style for three and it fed five of us. Would definitely recommend!

Really, really did not like the food here, which is a drag. I actually wanted to, as it is not far from where we live. The veggies were canned, and the noodles seemed to me like from a box of spaghetti… Not impressed.

i ordered ‘mar far chicken.’ it was fried chicken balls that are probably used for other chicken dishes, this had no sauce i almost choked. the fried shrimp was substandard. but the beef/veggie mix i got was tasty with real veggies!!. not just peas, celery, and onions, and don’t forget the water chestnuts. :)

Absolutely disgusting. Creamy, bland, Americanized Chinese food seemingly designed for the large retired community in the rogue valley. I heard they have one of ‘Kim’s’ «chefs» working here — that’s reason enough to stay far away from here.

Rolled into Talent by accident. I was surprised to find this place. Great food. Fast service.

This place is just wicked. The food isn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it’s dirt cheap and definitely delicious. I skipped breakfast and went here for lunch, ordered the vegetable chow mein, and I was full until dinner. It was awesome.

Horrible. We ordered«ma pu tofu» and beef lo mein. We originally wanted beef chow mein, but switched to lo mein at the suggestion of our waitress. The tofu was the worst excuse I have ever seen for that dish. The sauce was white! Not red, not brown, white! While the noodles for the lo mein dish were egg noddles, the food itself was terrible. You’d have to try on purpose to make food this bad. I’d have been satisfied with standardized American-Chinese food, but this was many levels worse. I’d rather go to Panda Express(mall food).

Mei Sum is a very popular local restaurant here in Talent. The food is always good and the service is friendly and excellent. The lunch and dinner combination meals are a great value at $ 6-$ 8 as they let you pick three dishes and make for a large meal, however we also enjoy the family dinners which have several courses.

I really wish there was a 3.5 rating because that’s what they would be. We were seated pretty fast, it was lunch hour on Monday and the place was a third full. The entire time our waiter(owner?) was very attentive, but toward the end seemed to want to rush us out of there… asking if we needed a box while we were still working on our food. Anyhow, the food was good — just standard Chinese food, but it wasn’t greasy like you sometimes get. Hence the 4 stars. Pricing was great, entire meal with a soda refill came out to be 6.50 — what a bargain!
