Their salmon crêpe is fantastic and delicious. Their service is fantastic and I am happy they are here in town.

ApropOMG. Holy cow this place is good! I have always been a huge Crêpe Vine lover, and I still am, but I adore the multitude of options Apropo has. I had the ancho chipotle chicken crêpe and it was AMAZING. I especially love the ambience of the place, the music was quiet and chill. No top 40 crap or overly loud stoner tunes. It was just a chill place to eat and chat. I will definitely be going back!

I had the salmon crêpe and OMG it was delicious. Def recommend it! I like the way they have it setup on there. It seemed like a decent college vibe. Not too loud either. I hate when restaurants are loud. The wait was kind of long but it was busy so that was probably why. The had great customer service as well

The atmosphere is super nice and very spacious. I really like that they incorporate French cuisine with Latin foods such as empanadas. I got the Triple Dream sweet crêpe that had Nutella, bananas, and strawberry. It was delicious and a huge portion. I would definitely come here again, especially since the staff was so friendly.

I love this place so much I eat here multiple times per week lol. HOWEVER I have noooo idea why they don’t open until 10! Their breakfast is so good it’s life changing but ends at 11, so only an hour window to order it?! Management if you are reading this please consider opening earlier or making breakfast last till at least noon! Way better for college students

Apropo is a really nice breakfast/lunch joint. They’ve got a wide selection of sandwiches, crepes, and dessert crêpe. Although I frequently visit the establishment and will continue to visit, I got to say that their food is not that amazing. It’s good, but just that… good. Their colada and arepas however are my favorite things to get. Make sure to try them next time! Other than that, really friendly staff and very nice atmosphere. I’ve never had a bad experience with food or customer service going there so much so that I make it a point to always make my order«for here».

Went here for lunch and was not disappointed. I went with the veggie party crêpe and added smoked salmon for a small additional cost. My crêpe was massive and stuffed full of delicious veggies, pesto and salmon. I was pretty hungry when I ordered and was stuffed by the time I finished my crêpe. Everything tasted fresh and the customer service was good(full disclosure we came at a bit of an off time). I got my lunch to go, but the atmosphere seemed pretty chill and casual. Interior décor reminded me a bit of a chipotle. Overall, solid choice for lunch(and they offer sweet crepes for dessert that I may be coming back to try).

I feel as if one of my catchphrases on Unilocal could be «I’m not impressed» but seriously… Apropos I’m Really not impressed. Despite having an extensive selection of savory and sweet crepes, juices, coffee, some pastries, and more… my two crepes were kind of tasteless and stale. Crepes should be light and complement whatever has been stuffed inside. Apropos crepes were bland and hard. I didn’t want toast, I wanted crepes. Even with a bar of ingredients, the crepes are very simple and leave something to be desired. Though they fill them up, so go for the fork and knife. I’ll give them another shot but I found them overpriced for the quality I received.

The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because it took literally 45 minutes to get my food and the place was completely empty. So so good though! And you can order desserts and healthy entrees!

Ok, so this was my first visit and barring any personal tragedies, it will certainly not be my last. I’m not going to get into how awesome the crêpe I ordered was, as that’s a given with this place. What I am going to do is praise the fact that I can walk in and walk out with good pastelitos(de guayaba o queso) and a cortadito or colada. For those of you Tallahassee natives, a «pastelito» is a Cuban-style puff pastry filled usually with guava or cream cheese(or both); a «cortadito» is basically a dark, sweet Cuban latte; and a colada is a large serving of Cuban espresso to share. In fact, this place even has the little plastic Cuban coffee shot cups commonly seen in most Miami cafeterias. Aside from these comfort Cubanities, they also serve empanadas and arepas. The service was friendly and prompt, and my order executed precisely. I’m just looking forward to them opening the Cuban coffee window that they had the foresight to install so I can drop by and pick up my coffee and pastelitos on the go. My only suggestion to the manager, which is so minor that it doesn’t come close to meriting a star deduction, is to offer a «cortadito» with leche evaporada for an upcharge. Holy crap, that would be great. I Look forward to coming back soon.

I use to say«if it’s healthy, it will always tastes bad». This is not the case for Aprop! For some reason I love, love, love there salads based on ingredients, fairly good price, and good atmosphere. I have rarely encountered a long wait when I get the usual craving for salads or smoothies. The staff is always eager to help out in any way they can and if there is any type of miscommunication or misunderstanding, they will fix it right away with no questions asked. I don’t know about you but I enjoy going out with people being friendly and genuine on their hospitality. At Aprop I order the Greek salad with chicken(extra $ 2), but even though it’s a little extra for the protein the salad is over the top huge. Takes a extra hand to close the lid and since salad isn’t filling for me, the extra can go a long way. If you are looking for a variety of fresh foods or fresh juices, Aprop wins my vote and I encourage everyone to a least check this place at once before a opinion is made. I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do. Happy dinning! P.S — Per request if you like green apples and orange juice, they will make it only if you request it.

First time here and it’s been a great experience. I’m used to dessert crepes. So I’m skeptical to the idea of steak and crepes or chicken and crepes. But I pushed through and let me tell you don’t be skeptical, just go all the way and get the teriyaki chicken! It’s delicious! I took off my mushrooms and tomatoes though since I’m not a fan, but the crepes was perfectly cooked. Fluffy and a slight crispy top, GREAT teriyaki sauce, perfect amount of chicken thrown in with the other toppings. I did use a lot of napkins though! My girlfriend got the chipotle chicken. She claimed it was too spicy in the end but from what I tasted it was amazing. Epically amazing. I’m not a spicy fan and the chipotle was like a 2 out of 1 – 5. Coming back again for breakfast soon. If you enjoy crepes and a friendly staff come here. Even better than crêpe vine!

Apropo is quickly becoming my new favorite spot in town! This restaurant just opened up and the concept is basically fresh ingredients in crepes and sandwiches. There are salads, too and breakfast items, but the main draw is really the crepes. It’s sort of like a fast food place similar to Panera, but with crepes. You order your crêpe then pick it up when it’s ready. You can see your crêpe being made in front of you. I’ve ordered both the ancho chicken and steak crêpe. This crêpe is out of this world good. The meat isn’t overcooked and the ancho chipotle sauce that comes with the food is flavorful and not too spicy. The portions are plentiful and the prices are pretty fair. Steak is pricier than chicken by a little bit, but it’ll probably cost you around $ 12 if you want a crêpe and a drink. The subs and salads both looked great. There are also baked goods like empanadas and arepas which looked delicious! I’ll definitely be back.

Apropo is a business from South Florida that had their grand opening in Tallahassee last week. Unfortunately, I missed it but I still wanted to check it out. I came here with a friend today and ordered a smoked salmon crêpe and a peach smoothie. The crêpe has everything that comes with the«Apropo Way» specification except for mushrooms, so I added those(free of charge, of course.) I also added a side of pesto because there’s no sauce on it. It was delicious. The red onions on there were a tad bit overpowering but overall, it tasted great! It’s a good option on the menu for my fellow pescetarians. Make sure you get the pesto on the side because it is really amazing! The peach smoothie was DELICIOUS! I got it because the worker there recommended it. He specifically described it as «refreshing» and it truly lived up to its name. The smoothies don’t really come with much in them though; they are basically just fruit. They said that they can add milk if you want, but I’m lactose intolerant so that was a no. I recommended that they add coconut water! Al In addition to savory and sweet crepes, Apropo also offers baguette sandwiches, empanadas, and fresh fruit juices. I want to come back to try those. The inside of the place has a plethora of outlets and usb plugs along the wall where the high chairs are and at a big, round table that is great for study groups. There are also outlets outside but some of the tables are wobbly. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend that you come here to study or do serious work because the music is really out. However, it’s nice to be able to charge your phone. Overall, I do recommend Apropo! The food is delicious, your phone can charge while you eat, and the staff is very nice.

The perfect addition to W. Tennessee &TLH in general. This would be as much a success in midtown, market square as it will be here. The food focus is on crepes first, and then sandwiches. Coffee is great and there’s a broad variety of drinks to choose from. Spacious and well-lit layout, very clean. My first visit had Real Madrid up on the screen(bonus). There are health-storish fruit and vegetable pressed juices available($ 4.99), good lineup of pastelitos. All in all, a compelling reason to come back.

A pleasant addition to the vacancy that’s been in dire need of utilized space for far too long. In the epicenter of Tennessee Street, where bars and restaurants are coveted in the highest traffic area for college students, Apropo seems apropo-iate for the time being. At their Grand Opening bash, servers rushed the floor handing out free samples of crepes, pastries, coffee and wine to us starving savages. Being open for a month at the time, it was pleasant to see the staff somewhat knowledgeable of the menu items to further explain their concept. All food items I had tasted reasonable. A chipotle crêpe comes to mind, but the pastries are what stick out the most. From arepas to taquenos and other flakey relishes, Apropo makes a name for themselves here. The beautiful space including Edison light bulbs strikes the eye in the best possible way. There’s open seating, even outdoors. But for a crêpe place, I can’t ever see it being«no tables available.» Also, the menu is massive. Very overwhelming. If I remember correctly, there were about 50 – 60 items on the trio of menu boards. Can you say crêpe overload? There are large, inclusive round tables with an abundance of outlets. Smart move for the college demographic. As for a new business, the store exceeds the restaurant operation expectation. But for me, the average consumer, I don’t really have the inkling to grab a crêpe. You know? I’d rather grab a burger. But that’s just me. Best of luck.

I stopped in here to meet the new Unilocal Ambassador Matthew. He said that they were having their grand opening and be there. As a good Elite Unilocaler I was there. The place is nice and the working folks were even nicer then that. In the beginning they were giving us little samples of their wares. Some coffee, little sandwiches, some dessert crepes and even wine. Now the inside looks really good and the builder did some nice work on the place. I did like it and Matthew an I even talked about how they kind of look like all the new places that are opening up around the world. Old reclaimed wood on the walls. Edison light bulbs on bare fixtures dangling from black cords. Modern tables and chairs or bench seats. The food was pretty yummy and if you like crepes this is your place. They have crepes with everything that you could or they could think of. It is a pretty big menu with a ton of choices. So if you want to come end some time reading a menu this is also your place. Y’all come now. I think that is how they say it is French.

Awesome addition to the eclectic area that is West Tennessee Street! Apropo started out in Miami with the suave and sweet duo that are Walter(ex-professional soccer player for Argentina) and Yair(whose son, Gill, insisted that they bring Apropo up to the Panhandle). The location could not be more convenient for FSU students and is made accessible to others by their shared parking lot with the Tin Cow. I saw a wide variety of patrons from children to adults and the atmosphere is definitely accommodating to all. Plenty of large windows shed natural light throughout the entire space. There are also a few tables with outlets available at the center to allow a quick charge or work/study session if necessary. The entire space is impeccably clean and fun design quirks are peppered throughout for you to notice while you indulge. The soft music playing in the background fills the space nicely and makes you feel more at ease. They also have really cool cash registers that are basically iPad’s with an extremely user-friendly interface. The swivel they are on is much easier to operate and makes them look and feel like a fixed part of the location(as opposed to some places where I have been handed the screen — which was still cool, but less professional looking). Now the most important part: the food. It was incredible. I ordered the Ancho Steak crêpe and my boyfriend, Victor, had the Mixto crêpe(mixture of steak and chicken). If you like, each crêpe is served the«Apropo way» with melted mozzarella or cheddar(depending on the crêpe you select), chopped tomatoes(should be called huge hunks of goodness), romaine lettuce, sliced mushrooms, and red onions. Mine specifically had avocado and an ancho chipotle sauce that was to die for and Victor’s mixed meat came with his choice of sauce — which was pesto. and perfect. They also(thoughtfully) have plenty of plates and plastic-ware available along the ordering line for when your crêpe gets to that point of no return(and a mess is inevitable). We were also able to try Colada which is a Cuban espresso drink that is traditionally served in a small coffee cup and also with plastic demitasses(little plastic shot glass looking things). Basically it’s coffee with a lot of sugar, but we had never heard of this drink before and Walter kindly walked us through a description of the drink(as well as how to drink it). The breadth and depth of the menu is astonishing. There are so many options to choose from and the only problem is that EVERYTHING looks good. The meat used is all Boar’s head and the produce is chopped, not daily, but hourly. The quality of the tomatoes in my crêpe alone speaks volumes about their attention to freshness(hey, it’s hard to find a tomato you feel feels about okay?). All in all I would have to say that I loved my experience at Apropo. Asked by Yair on the way out, the only thing I would improve are some more smiles from the line workers. I have full faith, however, that this will improve as their confidence improves in this new location. Everyone should go out to Apropo, not once, but multiple times so that you can delight in the many offerings.

Delicious! They beat Crepevine by a looooong run! I came tot heir soft opening and when it was my turn to order they stopped giving free food :(I was bummed but determined to try this place. They serve sandwiches on baguettes and crepes. They have sweet and salty crepes, coffee and smoothies. They have Colada and Cortadito, as well as Lagrima style coffee! As well as smoothies that you can mix and match on your own. This palce definitely has Latino flavor and it shows! I’ve had their sweet and salty crepes. I have one with ham, chicken, cheese, tomatoes… it was outstanding! Their crepes are so big that they serve them standing up! They also have sweet crepes with Arequipe(a kind of dulce de leche) which are delicious and with a lot of fruit! This is a great delicious place that is totally worth its value. Items are basically under 8 bucks. They have a lot of seating and the service was very nice and friendly. The place looks clean and spacious. I love the portions and will keep coming back!
