Found this truck in my neighborhood and decided to go try it out for lunch. I had seen it out and about before but I hadn’t made the leap to order something until now. What grabbed me was seeing the Bacon Nachos on the specials menu. It’s homemade fried corn tortilla chips with bacon bits, queso, lettuce, pico de gallo, jalepenos, scallions and drizzled with crema and awesome sauce. Yes, literal awesome sauce. The bacon bits of course were made with real bacon. The whole thang was delicious but I did have to pick out the jalapenos. I like the spice and the juice that they add to the nachos but I can’t eat them. I also go the Big Bacon on a Stick which is exactly how it sounds. A thick slice of cured bacon with a skewer running through it made for a very happy Maya. I shoulda ordered 3 hahaha. I’d definitely order again from this truck. Happy Baconing!

Should really be better than it is. Everything is just kinda bland. The pork is unremarkable, the bacon is just that… bacon. If the 2 things you’ve named your business after are unremarkable, I am not going to continue to go… I can only imagine how the things that you DIDN’T name your truck after taste.

Stopped by the B&B truck today, picked up their Crispy Chicken Sriracha wrap. While somewhat small was very tasty. As a side I went for their Mac N Cheese. M&C was ok, a little bland but certainly not bad. Overall thought a pleasant experience. Ill def check them out again next time they come to the office.

My first time eating at this truck. I really enjoyed it. The line went fast and i got my meal pretty quick. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. The fries were seasons perfect and were fresh. I really wanted to try the bacon but i was scared but this might become one of my favs.

Ok this truck changed owners a month or so back. The new owners say that they make their own bacon. I will see very soon. I have also been approached by several of the other truck owners. Have you tried the new truck Bacon n Butts. Nope not until today at least. I needed a last can scan before surgery you know for good luck. They were parked right around the corner. Lucky me right. Well I stopped in and there was about 4 people either waiting for food or ready to order. Being a good truck customer and Unilocaler I looked at their menu before hand and knew what I wanted. Bacon on a stick. House made bacon. Which for you folks in Rio Linda that cured and smoked by the folks in the truck. I also went with some pork sliders for a sampling of their pulled pork. I have to say that I make both of these items and from what people tell me pretty darn good to. So the sliders the pork was nice and juicy and had some smoke flavor. They topped it with some iceburg lettuce and a hunk of tomato. Not a bad start not great but nit bad. I opted with the mac n cheese side with this dish. It was a little on the over side you know when your mac has been in the oven or pot too long. Ok, the main reason I am here Bacon. Show me the bacon. Your name sake. Your specialty. Your bacon on a stick. House made bacon. I have heard thru the grapevine that you folks are pretty new at this. I can tell. You served me pork belly but the cure if any just wasn’t there. That flavor that you get from the pink salt or even a good sugar cure tasted like it was done one maybe two days ago. Then your smoke was almost there. All you need to do is add more wood to your smoker and let it go longer. I just didn’t get much smoke flavor from your bacon. The stick tasted pretty darn good thou. Ok JK. I’m hoping that you take this review helpful advice. I have been making my own bacons(4 types) for a smidge over 10 years now. You have a great concept here I know because I told the truck own and actually looked at this truck in the beginning. So keep trying and learning you will get there.
