My wife and I had been looking for a Chinese buffet around Tally for a while. We stopped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised when we tried this spot. There was a good selection of food, they constantly rotated the dishes with fresh ones, and they also had decent desert options. There is a bar area full of greens, veggies, meats, and sprouts to concoct your own lo me in dish, which you can then have cooked in front of you at their hibachi stand. Overall, the food and service weren’t amazing, but it was good and the price was fair.

The experience was exactly what I expected. A wide variety of Americanized dishes. Service was a little forced and rushed, but friendly enough. I really enjoyed the honey chicken. It was crispy, and well seasoned. Food was good overall. Not amazing, but good.

We used to eat here often. And the food was plentiful, the staff helpful. After eating here tonight never again. Two hours before closing the buffet is nearly void of anything edible, the staff far too untested in her phone and the janitor is already starting to mop up with bleach for the evening

Came in for dinner on a Sunday. It was my first time here and was surprised by how big it was. The staff is very nice and friendly. The buffet it self is not bad. There is a large selection to choose from. The quality of the food can be described like sex. It’s much better with someone else, but having it alone is okay too. And for only $ 10 why not!

Second worst Chinese buffet ever. Only Crazy Buffet in Sunnyvale is worse than this… Awful… Flat out awful. Go hungry rather than eat here. I can’t describe the level of incompetence required to supply the inedible crap and complete stupidity of the servers here. Hot food is luke warm… Cold stuff is luke warm. Disgusting. Stay away.

For a Chinese-American buffet, I love it. I have been going here since I was little and it’s always a pleasant experience. Is it authentic? Maybe not. Is it just like every other Chinese buffet? Pretty much. Does that make it bad? Absolutely not. There’s plenty of selection, it’s amply decorated, and adequately friendly. I have no complaints about the food, although some people might find an occasional miss among all the hits. So, if you’re used to Chinese buffets and know what’s normal and what’s horrible and what’s extraordinary, I’d give this place a normal, but growing up here has made this place one of my top choices when deciding where to eat.

I hate giving bad reviews or anything really under three stars, but I couldn’t find enough of a reason(or reasons) to give it a third star. For this review, it is based on the 4pm dinner on a Thursday. Service: The service was okay. Our waiter only made one or two appearances but are drinks were never empty so I can’t complain to much about it. Food: The food really wasn’t that great. Everything had a sweet flavor to it. Even the food that is suppose to be spicy. If the sweet flavor was different it would have been better, but since it wasn’t, everything kind of had that same flavor. Another issue is that the food wasn’t really«hot». Everything, even some of the fresh stuff, was just warm. By the time you got the plate to your table and started eating, some of the food was already«cool». There was really nothing(taste wise) that made you want seconds of that item. Overall, the price was good but the food just wasn’t that great. As much as I love all types of Asian food, I don’t see myself eating hear again.

All the usual suspects on the lunch buffet, I like to go straight for the Hibachi grill station. All the fresh veggies I like for stir fry. Tell the person behind the grill how you like your’s cooked, they have eggs, shrimp, garlic, hot chili sauce thats kept behind the grill, just ask. I also like the oranges stuffed with sticky rice and the fresh fruit. Order water and you can get out of there for less than $ 7. What a bargain, remember you get what you pay for.

3 might be a stretch — but I’m going with 3, optimistic that it’ll reach it in time. Ironically, we frequent China Super Buffet several times monthly. I particularly enjoy the weekends as they offer more unconventional fare on the back wall — fare that I presume would be presented in China — with ingredients that are more foreign. I love those offerings(cold squid, cold glass noodles, whole fish, various tofu concoctions, etc) and overlook some other areas to enjoy them. I’ll go straight to the let-downs. 1. The men’s bathroom is consistently unclean and at times in disrepair. Unclean bathrooms(to me) offer insight of the general cleanliness tolerances elsewhere in the building. 2. The aging ceiling panels are stained and droopy. 3. The lighting is peculiar, with dark rooms interspersed with brightly lit areas. I always like the four soup options — and honestly, there is a greater diversity here than in other buffets. The vegetables are good and I always enjoy what I eat. Investing in updated décor and restaurant-level cleanliness would go a long way. Fund it, perhaps, by limiting the menu options(lowering food costs) — maybe.

Went for the Japanese grill… After the waitress got our drinks we never saw anyone to clear our table. Choice was limited. Some food not under a heat lamp with flies swarming. After my food was cooked on the grill, had a strange taste. Yummy sauce was not good. Bathrooms were not clean. Left hungry and paid $ 44. Will not go back

This place gets the job done. Not the best quality, but that’s expected. Food is hot and tastes fresh. Plenty of options to choose from. Very large inside. And for the price, it’s great. If you’re looking to get some decent food for cheap, this is the place.

A lot of americanized chinese food. I don’t mind that but it wasn’t that fresh. I feel like this place was better back in the day.

As long as you don’t come here thinking your about to eat authentic Chinese food you will be fine. This is the common American Chinese Buffets that you see all over. But I love China Super Buffet for several reasons. First COST — Under $ 7 if you choose to have water with you meal. And when eating at a buffet no need to waste extra calories on soda’s or juice after what you probably packed on. Second Location/Size. It’s sit right on Monroe so you can be cruising down the street, stomach starts talking to you and pull right on over to here and there seems to always be space to accommodate everyone(this is not to say that it doesn’t stay packed) but there’s plenty of parking. And lastly the food on the buffet seems to always change and it has a little southern flare.(I had never eaten a craw-fish before this place — I always thought they looked like sea roaches. But this place makes me want to head to New Orleans to see if they are any better. I have decided to stay away from the sushi(to me it’s worst then Publix) Definitely Try: General Tso’s Chicken, Crab rangoon, Spring Roll, Lo mein, and some crab pasta baked thing that I know went straight to my ass and thighs(delicious), and last but not least the Fortune cookie — I’m not sure if I’ve ever eaten one but I love the fortune insides and those numbers have been lucky!

This is a veritable behemoth of a restaurant, complete with a koi pond inside, and enough food to stuff yourself with and roll out of the place. I don’t think I’ve ever wandered through the whole thing, but there seems to be endless seating. The price is right for the quantity of food, and at the price you definitely shouldn’t be expecting 5-star delicacies. As long as your expectations are in line with the price, this is a great deal. I’ve got 5 kids, and they all love Chinese food. This place is perfect because they can each get what they want, and we never have any arguing about it. Huge variety, everything from typical American Chinese food, to a special table that is usually surrounded by Chinese people because it has some authentic stuff in there(like fish with heads still on and some strange looking squid-type food — plus one of the best tofu dishes I’ve had anywhere, although I have no idea what they put on it). The place is always crowded. It has a monster parking lot, yet you always are looking for a spot. That says something about the value for the money. Also, I would say most customers are clearly people looking for a lot of food cheap. They have snow crab legs and crawdads on the buffet — but I say that cautiously. They never get to the buffet. As soon as a server starts bringing them out, they are accosted by a starving mob of extremely rude people who practically knock them down and fill their plates with them. One time I saw three extraordinarily obnoxious people take an entire silver serving tray full of crab legs before anyone else could even get one. The sushi isn’t bad, but don’t try to ask the sushi-maker for anything special. Unless you speak Chinese. I saw him smile and make something for some Chinese lady in front of me, but when I asked I basically got scowled at. It might be that he doesn’t speak English. It appears that none of the serving or cooking staff do. But the waiters all speak English well and are very friendly. In summary, tons of food, great place for large families, expect to be eating with a loud crowd, amazing variety. Price is right, but expect the quality to be in line with the price, maybe a little better than you would expect. The only reason I don’t give this place 5 stars is that I feel that rating should be reserved for higher quality places. This place is fantastic if you’re looking to stuff yourself cheaply on Chinese food.
