Great pizza! One day I ordered a pizza from here and ate all except for a slice that I ended up giving to my wife. I thought it was delicious but she never said anything. We both decided to starting eating healthier… more veggies, less pizza… yuck :(but we cheat once a week. The last time I asked her where she wanted pizza from she said«that one place, remember? you only gave me one slice» so I ordered a 20″ halftime pie. The pizza was delicious. Great flavor, crispy crust, not too thick or overly cheesy, and the price was like $ 13 or something. Aside from the pizza, I hear the other food is good too. Sorry to say that I haven’t tried it. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable. I would like to make it for lunch and try some other dishes and probably catch some games on TV here too. Try it!!!

One night I decided to skip the gym and ended up here. Literally. I’d figure this place would be my cheat meal for the night and it was seconds from my house so I knew I could get food in my belly fast. Not so much. The person who took my order said it would be ready in 20 minutes. It took 30. So, I waited for my 6 wings and one slice of cheese pizza patiently. I will give them a pass on the wait time because they hosted this breast cancer awareness event and that was pretty cool. When I got my food and drove home within 30 seconds it was still hot and to my surprise it was actually delicious. I’m really not a fan of crispy wings but the ones here are delicious!!! I only wish it had more bang bang sauce on it… And that one of my wings was not broken, lol. The cheese was no Momo’s but it definitely hit the spot with the flavor of quality. I definitely will return!

My friends and I ended up at Halftime Pie Pub last night after realizing we weren’t going to find anywhere to sit at our original location, Cancun’s. Service: The service was pretty good. Upon entering, we were welcomed by the woman behind the counter and told to have a seat wherever we liked. The tables, which were picnic tables, were all full save one that had yet to be cleaned. After asking if that table was vacant, an employee swiftly cleared the table for us. She then handed us a couple(as in two) menus and told us to order at the counter when we were ready. After settling on some juicy items, we placed our order and bought a few drinks for the table while we waited. Now for what I ordered, I felt it took rather long before my food finally showed up. As a matter of fact, upon ordering my second round of drinks at the counter, I let the gentleman know we’d been waiting for some time. After that it was about another 10 minutes before we got our food. The gentleman who helped me out, later introduced himself as Jason, the owner of Halftime. He was very nice and I knew he wanted to provide the best service possible. Before we left he even gave us a couple of coupons for $ 5 off our next visit. Service: B Now let’s get down to what we’re really here for Food: The menu had a lot of items on it, all of which sounded very tasty. Aside from the fact that I had heard mixed reviews about the pizza, I just wasn’t in the mood so I went a different route. We ordered: Loaded Homemade Fries, Chicken Philly, Buffalo Wings, and BBQ wings. The Loaded Homemade Fries were probably the best item we ordered. They were the perfect level of crispy, loaded with Cheese, Ranch, and Bacon. Now keep in mind, I made sure to let the server know I wanted my fries to be crispy because I don’t like taking chances. The Chicken Philly, though not the best, was pretty darn good. The fries that came with it? Not so much. They were very soggy. Like I said, I don’t like taking chances on my fries, but I had only clarified that I wanted my Loaded Homemade Fries crispy and said nothing about my side fries. That was a bummer. The wings were very good. The BBQ wings were DOUSED in BBQ which was great and the Buffalo wings were also very tasty. BEWARE: Although they are Buffalo wings, which are traditionally spicy, these Buffalo wings were definitely spicier than most. Overall, the food was very good. Food: A Now what you see when you walk in Atmosphere/Layout: Let me start by saying that I could not figure out for the life of me what identity or ‘theme’ Halftime was trying to go for. When you first walk in, your first site is a large room with some picnic tables that are widely spread out, light blue walls with only a couple jerseys up, and a massive projector with what seems to be some sort of stage towards the back. If Halftime was trying for a ‘Local hole-in-the-wall’ or ‘Sport’s Pub’ feel, it failed at both. The counter was also the only place to order drinks so I don’t really know where the«Pub» part of the name came from. Then to the left, there is another room with about 5 pool tables, a juke box, and an arcade basketball game. The color of the walls was considerably darker, and the lights dimmer. Of course, all the pool tables were well lit and only cost $ 1.00 to play which was nice. I definitely had more fun on that side of the«Pub». Overall, I felt the atmosphere was lackluster at best and almost wished I was back at Cancun’s with nowhere to sit. Rating: C– Overall, we had a pretty fun time together at Halftime and I would recommend people to at least give it a shot. Jason the owner, along with the rest of the staff, were extremely generous and helpful and the food was great. I recommend you give this place a shot and make your own mind up.

Stumbled upon this establishment because of a good friend’s recommendation, was not disappointed! This was a great place to watch a game on a rainy day, with bottomless mimosas/bloody marys AND awesome pizza for $ 12. The service is friendly and tables are plentiful. They also have a huge screen for you to watch your friends get rained on at the game.

I bought a groupon to try this«Pie Pub» I thought it would be interesting plus I love pizza. My husband and I went there and walked in and was met with come up and oder when your ready. We ordered an 14″ pizza and two side salads, a water and a draft beer(no prices on menu for beer). We looked around and no prices anywhere other than drink specials for different nights and happy hours prices. Beer turned out to be pretty cheap. We were handed our drinks found a seat and sat… and sat… and sat. Finally our side salads came out and our pizza right along with it, now mind you there wasn’t many people there. I guess it was my fault for not«asking» if our salads would come out first. The side salads were $ 2.99 and well they were tiny my husband and I kind of laughed when we got them but again they were $ 2.99 each. Our pizza was sad, we ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and it has very little flavor and I’m not sure how they managed it but the bottom of the pizza crust was white… yeah it wasn’t cooked on a stone or something hot. I think their ovens need to be turned up higher because I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pizza crust like that before. Our server was pretty horrible never came to us even though you must tip them when you order your food unless you have cash. We went on trivia night, which was just a random night for us, it was very awkward for my husband and I and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Too bad because I am alway on the look out for a great pizza place especially when my family comes into town. Also, the picnic tables… NO!

Great pizza, really friendly service. Wish they had a few more beers on tap, but they have plenty of bottled options, so it works out in the end. I recommend checking out!

I really really wanted to like this place — we found a Groupon(I always go to it when I don’t know what I want to eat) and sat down for our meal. We had trouble deciding what we wanted to order and switched our order a few times(there were exceptions such as no wing specials with groupon which is totally understandable). We ordered wings, a chicken pesto sandwich and garlic knots for the two of us. We were going to order a large buffalo chicken pizza and thought we canceled that. When our food came out, we also received the pizza — our server was more than rude to us when we explained that we had cancelled(she was the one that took our order). There were only two of us – why would we order in two entrees, an appetizer AND a large pizza. We apologized for the mix up and she just blankly looked at us and said«Well, what do you want me to do with this». We apologized again and said we didn’t know. She got angry and huffed back with the pizza. We quickly ate our food and left. I know we switched our order and it was a mistake, but we did clearly cancel the order and felt sorry and we weren’t going to pay 25 extra dollars for an excess pizza after ordering our full meal. The wings were pretty good. The sandwich was lackluster with very little pesto and chicken :(. Bread was nice and toasty though. Garlic knots were standard. Almost forgot — they have giant jenga! Which was a plus :). They had pretty cool things to do if they would fix the service and some of their food.

Good pizza and very good wings. Then you top it off with a cold brew. What else is there? Price is reasonable. Owner keeps place very neat and clean. Worth checking out. Sempre Fi

To go order. Small cheese pizza. Half pepperoni. Came to $ 13.70. Ouch. To make matters worse, the pizza was dry, thin, and very bland. Crust was super dry and over floured. I couldn’t even finish it. Frozen pizza tasted better unfortunately. I think the pizza was possibly old and just reheated, or at least tasted like it. Really bad pizza. The facilities are decent, however, and would be a nice place to get drunk and watch a sports game. That’s what the second star is for.

Really awesome layout to the place! Can have a good amount of people in here while keeping a considerable amount of elbow room. Very relaxed when it’s slower too. They have pool tables, giant Jenna, and soon to have darts! I had the Parmesan chicken and oh my is the sauce great. The chicken isn’t the best tasting on its own but mixed with the bread and the sauce its phenomenal! Coming back again for sure.

If you like desolate and awesome, this is the place for you. A bit overpriced, but you’re paying for the privacy. $ 10 on average for a pitcher, but only $ 7 during the daily 4 – 7 happy hour($ 2.5016 oz drafts and bottles as well). Half Time has 6 pool tables, cornhole, Jenga, a teddy picker, and Big Buck arcade machine. Ton of space with picnic tables, 4HD tvs, and a projection screen. It’s located across the street from Dollar General, after making a right off Tennessee. Good luck finding it, it’s worth it. Few people have succeeded at this task. The service is tremendous. Each patron has their own server.

Welp. Let’s start with the positives. The service was excellent. The girl behind the counter has a huge personality and makes it a point to keep the customers happy. She was knowledgeable and identified all menu items to a T. The space, although large, is clean and well kept. Multiple pool tables, picnic benches for seating, massive flat screens and respectable music on a contemporary jukebox are appealing and fit the bill for the pizza pub/bar. Halftime also has happy hour from 4 – 7 every day. I bought a Goose Island Pale Ale for only $ 2.50. That’s a steal. Their menu is full of signature pies, sandwiches, wings and slices, of course. And although the menu sounded great, it simply wasn’t. An experienced chef did not cook the pizza. It was underdone on the top and excessively crisp on the bottom of the pepperoni slice. The imbalanced slices were unappealing to the eye. You know that microwaved pizza look? The extremely white, uncooked cheese kind? Unfortunately, that’s the pizza I received from Halftime. The mushroom slice was worse. Sadly, the cheese and mushrooms were underdone. The mushrooms looked and tasted like they were fresh from the dirt. But the bottom of the pizza tasted like raw dough and flour. Little pieces of flour were all over my fingers and glops of cheese hit the tray as I attempted to salvage the pizza in my hands. It’s a shame the food was less than subpar, because the atmosphere was decent and the service was terrific. But the bread and butter of restaurants will always be the bread and the butter, themselves. The pizza honestly deserves one star. In the midst of Tallahassee’s excellent pizza options, Halftime doesn’t even provide the competition with competition.
