Bottom line: for fried chicken and southern sides, don’t bother with anywhere else.
What??? — I’m actually the FIRST to review this Lindy’s? That’s crazy…
The Orange/​S. Monroe location, IMO, is the best. Great views of the intersection — and the same Lindy’s menu as the other locations.
Best chicken salad in town.
Great sides, chicken fried just right.
Dining area immaculate.
Gizzards are fantastic, and available daily at 11:45AM.
Chicken wings are sought after by many.
The Chicken filet sandwich is such that any company out there developing a business model on this one particular menu item would do well to copy this recipe precisely. There is no better Chicken Filet sandwich, regardless of how it’s spelled out!
For those of you wanting to spread your TLH wings a bit, treat yourself to Lindy’s at any of the locations (Lafayette is my most proximal, this one is my favorite).
