Outstanding phở, really fresh ingredients and a deft hand with spices made this the best phở I have had outside of Manhattan. Sooo much food, go ready to eat.

Feeling low due to cold. Stop by & had spicy beef soup. Awesome, tasty & made me sweat. Just what the doctor ordered. «I’ll be back»…

I came to order a bowl of phở and ask for the beef to be separate. The owner said it was against what she can do and she’s not allowed to do that because of the food inspector. Really??? I can’t believe her. The worst service ever and the food wasn’t even that great. Don’t come to this place if you expect good service.

Multiple vegan phở choices. I like the house vegan(tempeh, bean curd, and tofu in a well seasoned base with ramen noodles.) Staff is very sweet and the deserts are also tasty.

Weekday lunch 11:45AM A three start for this area. I went for classic Phở(beef raw) $ 8.29. The size of bowl is big as most places. The topping portion was larger than I’m costumer to, especially fresh bean sprouts. But the sprouts weren’t freshest comparing to where I’m from, NYC. I also wished raw meat had pink color in the center, or at least to some. What I enjoyed was the thinly sliced fresh jalapeño. It had a very nice kick to rather dull soup. But toward to the end, all flavors fussed well with Hoisin sauce that I added later as to introduce another flavor, sweetness. My Hubby’s Banh Mi BBQ pork was not traditional, no cilantro, cucumber, or must have; sweet pickled carrots and daikon. Instead it had shredded cabbage(?) with tiny shredded carrots. But the pork itself was tasty. Overall, it’s just not authentic, adjusting to American palate. I find Vietnamese ice coffee to be fine, but for coffee connoisseur, my hubby, thought lacked in coffee flavor. What was refreshing of this place was the staff. She’s got a short hair with dark framed glasses. Her presence made this place young, fresh, and trendy. Also, it’s a very LGBT friendly place. We saw couple LGBT customers enjoying their Phos. So as some local workers to housewives lunching, and father and daughter enjoying each other; great mix of people.

The food is OK, but the staff is like«phở you»! I have several complaints about this joint: First, they are the type of restaurant that asks for the gratuity up front while ordering – how about you earn it first. Second, as soon as you order the employees go hide in the kitchen to avoid contact with the customer while the later endures a seeming eternity for their order to appear from the kitchen. Third, appetizers are meant to be delivered before the main meal – this is especially true when the main meal takes an eternity to show up. Last, they completely forgot to bring out my wife’s dessert – too busy trying to close up shop an hour before closing time. I won’t be going back to this place until the owner instills some customer service practices in her wait staff.

Cheap ingredients. All meats are sliced very thin. Meat ball is chewy(tendons). Lots of bean sprout short on basil.

Order at register and they bring it out to you. This place is not the greatest. When eating phở it has to be the greatest so I’m out on this place. Little expensive, watery broth, and boring. They don’t have beef brisket phở either. Asked for extra jalapeño and never got them. They ran out of basil. Lucky I’m giving them 3 stars…

Unassuming place with a good selection of soup based entrees like their namesake, Phở, and other tasty treats like Bohn Me sandwiches. With their use of Roasted Chicken(suspiciously tasting of Rotisserie chicken) I’m not entirely sure they’re exactly the Most authentic. But unlike other Phở places in town, their phở isn’t oily and over salted. Spacious place, which is kinda decorated like they just moved in, so ambiance is definitely lacking. This is not a place to bring someone you want to impress, BUT it’s a great place to bring someone who just wants to eat.

Traveling from Alabama to Tampa got a craving for Phở and found this place online. Mixed reviews but high health rating so we decided to give it a try. It was well worth it, very authentic delicious phở, you can tell it’s made right. The place was spotless very very clean which is always a good sign. Will definitely go back!

Very good Phở, had the meat lovers, loaded with all the goodies. I’ve eaten phở at many places, and this one is in the top ten. Very surprising, since it’s in Tally. Bookmarking this place, I’ll be back!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Ingredients were fresh and portions were generous, and the people seem to take pride in what they do. The only odd thing about the visit was that they were out of a few staple ingredients, so members of my party were told that they couldn’t order certain menu items. Odd but overall a really enjoyable experience. I’ll be back with my family(and others)!

I don’t like doing this, but I’ve got to take one of the stars back.(Remember, 4 stars is «Yay! I’m a fan» so this isn’t the sky falling…) This is a great concept. having the variety of soups is unique in town, and creating your own adds a certain adventure. Today, and several times previously, It appears that the accompanying crudités have either been thin on the cilantro and I’ve never seen culantro here. Also, I’ve ordered tendon in my BYOB but I infrequently get more than two pieces. Finally, the portion seems to be on the short side, especially for lunch. I do understand the difference between the sizes, but when it’s served in the same bowl — it just looks like someone filled it ½ only. Still flavorful — and I still frequent Phở Me. Staff and owner are very nice.

I’ve been to «Phở Me» on a few occasions now and they are up at the top as far as Vietnamese style places go in Tallahassee. The only one I would put at their level or above is Far East Cuisine, but that is because their menu is more eclectic and wide-ranging than Phở Me is, In my opinion. Anyways, I have had the Phở here and it is pretty good, but what I really enjoy are the Bahn Mi sandwiches here. I usually get the BBQ Pork or the Shrimp and they come with the standard Bahn Mi fixin’s which include pickled veggies and some mayo all on a baguette. My pork and shrimp Bahn Mi’s were both very well cooked and the flavors pop out at you from the first bite to the last. You can also add a little sriracha to your Bahn Mi if you want more of a kick. Also, a must try if you are having your cheat day are the Nutella Donuts. They are really good and I love the raspberry sauce they drizzle on top of them. A nice touch to break up the thickness of the breading. Parking shouldn’t be an issue here as there are several spaces to get a spot. Phở me is definitely a place worth seeking out if you’re in the mood for something different in Tallahassee.

Probably the best phở I’ve ever had. I absolutely LOVE coming here! The staff is friendly, the place is minimally decorated, but always clean. I always get the roasted chicken Phở and my wife and I split an order of the summer rolls. They are VERY knowledgable about their food, because it’s authentic and made from scratch, so it’s safe to eat here if you have Celiacs disease. There aren’t many places in town that make it easy on you if you can’t have gluten, but it’s never an issue here. We will definitely keep coming back. If they keep making the Phở, we will keep eating it! :) Highly recommend!

This was my first experience with Phở(pronounced fuh). This place is new and very clean with a simple and easy to understand menu. I can’t compare their phở to any other place but I enjoyed it. The broth was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. I took a star away because I finished the bowl, which is a rather large portion, and I was still hungry. I’m a weightlifter and I have a pretty big appetite but for $ 10 I expect to be full when I leave a short order place(it’s one of my criteria). I brought my girlfriend there a few weeks ago for her first Phở experience and she couldn’t finish her bowl. She really liked the place and her phở.

Updating my review after quite a few trips back to Phở Me and the quality had gotten better! My previous complaints about packaging have been remedied, though the beef in the phở still leaves a lot to be desired. Veggies have been a lot better in my past few visits as well. I’ve found eating in lends you a larger portion, although the take out portion is more than enough.

Phở is one of my favorite foods so when Phở Me was slated to open, I was ecstatic. I have given this place a try twice now and now am disappointed that I got my hopes so high up. First problem: Portion sizes — The broth wasn’t enough to cover the noodles in the bowl. This wasn’t because there was an overabundance of noodles. I was upset that I couldn’t even get my veggies in there. The meat was also lacking. There were exactly 5 pieces the one time I counted. :(. Second problem: Price — For the portion, it is very overpriced. I would actually be okay with a phở place that had a smaller portion for a scaled down price. The price is slightly higher than the competing areas(although this week, I saw that Phở 7 had raised their prices to Phở Me’s. Isn’t capitalism supposed to work the opposite way?!) Third problem: Broth — Everyone who eats phở knows that the broth is key. This broth(both times) were too salty for my taste. It makes it harder to make out the other components of the broth. I hope they kick it up with their portion prices and their broth. I used to go when they were in Railroad square and it was better than. I think its the same family so I am hoping that they are just working out the kinks in their new kitchen. Maybe I will give them a try in a few months, but until then, blech

I hate to be a meanie or one to write a bad review, but I was very disappointed with my experience here. On a chilly night my friend and I were down to try this new place and see if it was any good. With a catchy name like Phở Me we were intrigued. This is not like your typical Phở place. Once you enter you order at the register and pay right away. The menu lists a bunch of types of soups with different noodles and broths to choose from. There are a few salads or sandwiches here, but to me it is strictly for Phở. I ordered the Build Your Own Soup Bowl, with Phở noodles, Spicy Broth, Rare Beef, Well Done Flank, Tripe, and Spicy Tofu. I was excited to try this and hoped for the best. There were a few disappointments that occurred. For one, the broth was so minimal and pathetic that all the meat and veggies just sat dry at the top. It needs to flow high up so everything can soak and get warmed up. Which brings me to flaw number 2 of the room temperature broth. The meat never cooked and looked pink the whole time. It was cold that the bean sprouts tasted raw and hard. I tried to compensate by adding fish oil, sriracha, and hoisin but it did not succeed. Oh and they do not sell Vietnamese iced coffee… what a sin. Maybe I came at a bad time of the night, but I really have experienced better elsewhere. phở me…

So happy there were numerous vegan options here. I’m giving it 4 stars because the broth was pretty bland, but they couldn’t use the traditional recipe since it was vegan and phở is supposed to be kinda custom flavored at your table. Peanut sauce with spring rolls was VERY good. Food came out very fast and customer service was good too. They even warned us that the summer roll sauce had mayo, which was not vegan. First time here. Will be going back. Update: been back twice since the past review and tried other items. Truly DEElish and lightning fast service.
