Just heard Skyline is doing open mic every Tuesday. Sounds fun!

Fun throwback when you’re out with a small group! 3 – 4 people is enough, unless you bring so many that you take over the place. Great selection with a wide variety of different wines, but no liquor.

Trevor and the bartenders are fantastic and very knowledgeable about wines and beer. The décor is beautiful and the environment relaxing and comfortable, never stuffy or douche-​baggy. I think the way they set up the patio area is magical, because when I’m sitting outside, totally forget that I’m at the end of a big strip mall. I love this place!

Best kept secret. Formerly «Lee’s Wine Bar,» it’s located in the Lake Ella Publix plaza. Always plenty of parking which is a nice change. The atmosphere inside is very creative and retro. They have a great covered outdoor area for warmer nights. I’ve been a few times and love their Cherry Bomb drink. Great selection of beers as well. Definitely check it out.

I am so impressed with the crew that own and run this place — I think they have had an enormously positive impact on Tallahassee over the past few years. I’ve only been to Skyline once, but surprisingly, this place left me cold. The staff was great (the dour rude guy from Fermentation was nowhere to be seen), and the place was creative and sort of classy at the same time. But something was missing for me – this place will probably look and feel better after it’s been lived in for a while. The wine was very expensive, and worse, very very cold. I ordered a rustic red and it came at about 50 degrees. Not slightly chilled, not 70ish, but 50ish. It was like drinking dusty fruit juice. Very expensive dusty fruit juice. I don’t know if they have kinks to work out with the refrigeration, or what, but I’m in no hurry to go back.

They have this one drink I’m obsessed with! It tastes like Christmas!
