My review of Tallahassee Diamond Center was removed, so I will repost it again: Horrible!
When they opened a decade, you could walk in and expect, good FAIR service. Unfortunately, greed coupled with over extending ability to operate with integrity brought this business its downfall. Not only are the prices high, the treatment from the employees and owner is downright deplorable. While my spouse and I have done business in the past with TDC, we will not be bringing our business there any longer. The staff is an arrogant composite of lying, ego maniacal goblins who try to scam even the most*educated consumer*.
Adiós and good riddance!

I took 2 rings in — one to be resized and one to be redesigned. The resizing was fine. However, the redesign took almost a week longer than the date we were told to pick it up. We went to the shop four times to pick up the ring and they never once called and told us it wasn’t ready. When we were finally able to pick up the ring, one of the sales people joked that surely it was worth all those trips! Really?!! Not only did I not like the redesign, they had not even cleaned the jeweler’s paste from under the stone. Apparently, they didn’t value our business (maybe it wasn’t high dollar enough?). At any rate, we won’t be back.

The owner is great. Very knowledgable and honest about his product. He sat down with us and educated us on how to look at diamonds and assess their value. I’m very happy with my ring, it’s beautiful. His staff on the other hand… not too thrilled. I brought my ring in to be resized, and when I got it back, it was still far too large. When I showed the man how big it still was, he literally asked me, «you’re not gonna cry now, are ya?» Are you kidding me? Didn’t leave feeling good. Next time I’ll take it to get resized elsewhere and just pay the extra.

They’ve got an amazing inventory, not because it’s gigantic but because it’s very well-curated. From their new collections to the estate pieces, everything is interesting and high quality. The prices are quite good and the customer service is outstanding. Megan’s very knowledgeable and will help you find the perfect piece. Buying jewelry is such a minefield that you have to find a place you can trust. Tallahassee Diamond Center is that place for me.
