My favorite crêpe place Apropo closed down and I’m amazed this place is still open in comparison. I’m used to freshly made crepes prepared right in front of you stuffed full, but instead I found a thin, stale crêpe that I threw away half way through even though I was starving. Grossly disappointed.

Arrived 15 min before posted closing time to be told that they had already closed down and could serve me without a 20+ minute wait.

This was my first time here as well as my first time eating a crêpe ever. I ask a million and one questions on taste, texture, size and every other question known to man. This place did not disappoint me at all. All the veggies and meats were fresh and were the highest quality I’ve seen in a while in my plate. But for the winning touchdown, my crêpe came with a Cajun remoulade sauce and that was amazing! The atmosphere was very cool and relax and made my visit very enjoyable. All in all, I WILL be back!

Every now and then, a hankering for the unexpected overcomes us and we find ourselves headed to the least predictable places. It generally works in our favor(as it did, here, tonight) but there are occasional gaffs. We often travel in packs of roughly ½ dozen. At the high end, we’re 10, at the low end, we’re two — but usually 5 – 7. So this evening, 8 of us show up at Crepevine — where we had the place to ourselves. I figure it’s off the«Saturday night on the town» circuit. Knowing Crepevine as a breakfast/lunch joint means knowing it as a dinner joint. Menu items are the same. Whether sweet or savory, you’re getting a creation consisting of a folded Crêpe, ingredients laid out in the middle 1⁄3 of the semi-lunar Crêpe surface, melted and then folded once and twice for a handheld flattened cone. I do wish they would make the crepes to order — it would make a difference. I know it’s impractical during rush periods but when it’s slow, I’d like to ask if they’d do that next time. It would make the difference. For breakfast options, one can’t go wrong with the tried & true sugar with lemon juice. It’s pretty traditional. Knock yourself out creating whichever concoction you wish — there are myriad options.

A great place stop in for some great food fast! With the wallet friendly prices and surprisingly large portion for one crêpe, you definitely get your money’s worth here. I like how they make the crepes like a wrap you can hold in your hand, although I prefer to work with a fork and knife. I love it and wish they had Crepevine on the west coast. It’s counter service, and you can watch them make your crepes and customize the orders. I ordered The Wobbles, which had chicken and turkey, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and Cajun remoulade. I got pepperjack cheese on mine for an extra kick, which was perfect! I got the combo and chose a Caesar salad for a side, and sweet tea for the drink. All that for about $ 10, and I was super stuffed and satisfied :) Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely try to come by here again!

I’m not really a fan of crepes. I tend to lean more towards savory food when it comes to breakfast so I was glad to see they had a selection of crêpe like hand roll sandwiches. I’m glad I tried it because this place was so good. I loved my roast beef bacon and turkey crêpe. The crêpe was crispy and delicious. Although the atmosphere in here is more like a fast food place the food really is amazing. You won’t regret it.

Forget the rest, I have a new favorite breakfast spot in Tallahassee. As the name suggests, they are all about crepes and mine was amazing. They have a ton of toppings to choose from, and build it right in front of you. The result is a crêpe that reminds me of the ones served at the Paris casino in Las Vegas. Outstanding!

We were so glad we saw this place and decided to try it. My wife and I were so blown away with these delicious crepes we actually went back the next morning for the exact same thing again. The coffee was awesome as well. This is a franchise to watch! We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to go back.

The Crepevine is amazing! Breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert you can’t go wrong with any crêpe choice. We had the«Sunday Morning» — ham, bacon, cheese, veggies and sauce. It was perfect for breakfast before we hit the road. Our other crêpe was the«Gilberto» — Banana, strawberry, whip cream, Nutella, chocolate and fudge. This crêpe was AMAZING! Very friendly, helpful and pleasant staff. Great prices. Cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The crêpes are good, but it’s annoying that you have to pronounce the name of their business in a super Americanized way for the pun to make sense.

Holy Crêpe this place is good! We had the Benvincible and the Shoeless Crepes and both were fantastic! My only regret is that we didn’t get one of the sweet crepes to split for dessert. Oh well, maybe next time. The prices are great, the staff is friendly and the ambiance is just fine. I can’t wait to go back!

I love the whole idea of this place. It’s like a subway or chipotle… just it’s for Crepes! The Crepes are oh so delicious and refreshing! There is NO guilt in eating these and they’re so delicious. I need some NOW. So good!

A restaurant dedicated all to the crêpe. The crêpe was a super popular dish a few years back and I had thought people were getting over them, but I guess here in Tallahassee it is still going strong. This place is open all day so you can get a breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert crêpe. The prices are not bad and they have a good amount of ingredients for customization. My experience here was pretty average though. It felt like a subway of crêpe places. Stuff left out where you point and cannot tell how long it has been sitting there. I ordered a dessert crêpe with bananas, strawberries, and chocolate. I wish they made the actual crêpe fresh every time or at least in your face. They basically grab one that had been made earlier in the day and just reheat it. Totally takes the fun out of watching it being made. Service was friendly and talkative when I came, but I totally left feeling underwhelmed. Something unfortunately was missing.

This place is fantastic! I always stop in for lunch when I’m in Tallahassee. I wish they had more locations! What I love about Crepevine is how unique it is! I wish there were more restaurants like this! They make fresh crepes everyday, and when you come in an order, they toss the crêpe on a crêpe-shaped griddle and start tossing all the ingredients on top. Once complete they then fold the crêpe up kind of like a sushi hand roll. I love this place!

I’ve been fun to the Crêpe Vine since they were a tiny single location, and They’re great. The food is always top class. The Shoeless is a personal favorite of mine, as is the Gilberto. The crepes are crispy and nearly prefect, and every time I end up full. I have zero complaints about the food. The problem that I have here sometimes is that the service is hit or miss. Sometimes you’re in and out, but sometimes the employees are mean. I’ve definitely left without picking up any food here before. Overall, I’d say it’s worth faring the service for the fantastic food!

YUMYUMYUM! I LOVECREPEVINE Every time I have come to Tallahassee to visit FSU friends, we always come here for breakfast after a late night out. It’s a casual, quick service type of place that serves a wide variety of crepes at reasonable prices. Usually, the servers and cashiers are local college students, but they always do a great job and helpful with answering questions. I have tried both the savory and sweet ones. I liked the ham and cheese lunch crêpe out of all the«meal» crepes I tried. My favorite sweet crêpe is the one with nutella, strawberries, bananas and whipped cream, I mean honestly how could you go wrong with that? I wish we had a crêpe vine in Clearwater, because if so i’d be there all the time!!! Check it out!

«Taking a trip to Tallahassee? Go to The Crepevine!» everyone says. 3 years ago was my first visit to Tallahassee for a college football game.(Awesome memories!) And that was the first time I tried The Crepevine. I remember it being simply amazing. Fast forward to present time when I have to visit the state’s capital again, and first eatery that comes to mind is The Crepevine. NOTE: I haven’t tried the savory crepes, so this review is for sweet only. Hence, the 4 stars. I feel I don’t have authority to give a full 5 without trying the savory, as well. Whenever ordering crepes, I always go for bananas, strawberries, nutella, whipped cream, chocolate syrup. Well, whaddaya know, they have a crêpe like that called the Gibralto. But my sister ordered it, and I don’t like ordering the same thing as my fellow diners. So I picked out the Kloob Nikka instead. Similar, but with kiwis. Even if there wasn’t anything on their default menu you like, you can mix and match to make your own creation. Name it after yourself. It’s a Subway/Moe’s style pick-and-choose kind of ordering system, so you know they’re making it how you want it. The thing I love about The Crepevine is how big their crepes are, which they should be because the prices are just as big. We first asked for salads for our dinner, so the crêpe-maker(what are they called?) suggested we wait til we’re finished eating before he makes our dessert crepes so that they are warm & fresh when we’re ready to eat them. Good thinking! It’s a really casual dining area. There’s even a couch! This is a different location than the one I visited 3 years ago. I’m not sure if this is a 2nd one or they relocated, but the sweet crepes are just as delicious as I remembered.
