Prior to yesterday’s visit, I had not been to Treva’s in about three years. I definitely could not forget how deliciously decadent the treats I bought were. Two chocolate mousses and two double-chocolate cheesecakes.(I even found my awfully-filtered Instagram post about it from 156 weeks ago.) This time around I wanted to take my boyfriend since he had never had the pleasure of going. I got a cheesecake(which I will devour after writing this) and my boyfriend got the Ruben rounds sandwich which he said was incredibly yummy.(He’s not one for words when it comes to food. He just likes to eat. I handle the descriptions. Haha.) I’d also like to thank the young lady behind the counter for being so delightful and kind despite us going in five minutes prior to closing. I was taking my bf to work at the hospital and decided to drop by since he was going to be a little bit early. Thanks for being awesome! TL;DR — It’s probably my favorite bakery in Tallahassee. Go. Now.

Delightful. Really, Treva’s has wonderful freshly made pastries, serves local coffee, and the lunch is spot on(what one would expect from a small pastry shop: quiches, croissants, and rolls). It may be hard to find initially(behind the old Calico Jacks and across from Esposito), but it’s worth finding. A real local gem.

Mixed feelings here. Pros: good parking, lucky goat coffee is amazing, the dessert was good, cute shop Cons: the worker that served us was anything but happy, slightly overpriced pastries, and it’s on a busy street. It was an okay overall experience, but I probably won’t go back

One of Tallahassee’s best kept secrets and honestly my favorite pastry shop in town. Super friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere! I usually come here for a mushroom quiche, rum baba and a cup of coffee after work on Saturdays and it always brightens up my week. I even got my birthday cake here, a white forest cake, and it’s probably the best birthday cake I’ll ever have. Good for lunch and dessert. More people need to come here!

Love love love this place. Best croissants I’ve ever had. SO many different items to choose from, not just dessert, but lunch items too(chicken salad, etc.). Always something new to try, and everything is decadent and elegant and made with love(and sometimes booze). A classy joint.

This place sells proper croissants– light, flaky, soooo buttery. And my whole family enjoys the black forest cake. It’s not exactly close to home, but that makes Treva’s easier on my wallet and waistline. Nothing is cheap, but everything is worth the price. I am hooked.

Definitely still a fan, and I do still come here to buy their pastries. I just think some things are a little pricey. Everything is still really good though!

I have nothing but great things to say about this bakery. I called and emailed Treva with a very bizarre request — I needed a lamb-shaped cake(my grandfather had requested one for Easter). Treva quickly responded and agreed to make the cake for me. My grandfather was delighted with the cake and everyone reported that it was very tasty. The next time I am back in Tallahassee, I will definitely swing by to try out her other baked goods.

Having been to Treva’s many times, I can vouch for almost anything in her pastry case. Everything is carefully made and with the finest ingredients. Her crust on the cheesecakes is simply to die for! I think her prices are very fair as well. Although Treva doesn’t make her own croissant dough, they bake up to perfection and are clearly the best available in Tallahassee. When in the area, do yourself a favor and stop in for a delicious treat… you won’t regret it.

Finally, a great pastry shop in Tallahassee! Real croissant done the classic French way. Worth a visit. We bet you will be back.
