If I could give this place zero stars I would. Basically ruined my aunts experience for my college graduation. Non working, rigged elevators to DIRTY washrags I can’t even explain my disdain for such a filthy place.

Had the double queen with sofa room. While the beds weren’t that comfortable that isn’t my problem with this hotel. My problem is now I have to go through everything I brought I to the room and look for roaches. I can deal with out dated rooms and not perfectly cleaned but not cockroaches.

For the price it can’t be beat. It’s not a chain so one should not expect it to be ran like one. For instance, house keeping did not visit my room once during my 2 night, 3 day stay. It is on the edge of FSU’s campus so if you need a super cheap place to stay near campus this is it. I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews about this place. Myself and my colleagues stayed here for a conference recently and neither of us encountered the things mentioned in the negative reviews. Gripes: Club across the street is loud. Busy road does produce traffic noise. Pluses: Cheap. Friendly staff. VERY Cheap. Location.

Not clean, moldy, — on a main road-the noise starts up at about 5 am-for a cheap place– it is what it is —dank, dirty, dark and disgusting.

I’m sorry but this place is gross. Crappy bedspreads, gross carpet, gross curtains and the room seemed like it had mold. I started coughing as soon as I walked in the room. This is definitely a party, college, motel. The location is good but there are nicer hotels right down the street — try and stay at one of those if possible.

I would give this place a 5 star but no breakfast kindoff sucks :/. But I am currently staying here. I live in Tallahassee and because of some personal problems with my roommate I decided I needed a break from it all. So I book a stay in the hotel. It seems pretty good for its price. The girl up front was really nice even though I came 30 min before check in. She asked for my room to be cleaned first so that by 2 in checkin time it would be ready for me. So I went to the subway behind the hotel and grabbed some lunch. The hotel itself seems pretty clean. I haven’t had any problems so far. But then again its still morning and I haven’t slept the night yet. The location is PREFECT if you are here for orientation or to just check out FSU or for stay period. Its really the cheapest closest place to FSU. behind in the same block is a donut place(don’t go there kind-off sketch, probably stale donuts) then tropical smoothie which is open late next to it is subway with Wi-Fi(def. recommend their really nice people their), as you keep going down is target copy(makes fsu student business card for $ 20) then a greek restaurant which I DEFINATELYRECOMMENDTOEATTHERE its a must try the falafel, finally is atomic bomb coffee place that has wifi and has really really really good muffins and coffee, then is the famous gumbys pizza(has history with fsu students as the best pizza when intoxicated), and at the other end of the block is tomahawk bar but its really mostly like an over expensive chillis. across the block is a 24 hr macdonald, then momma goldbergs(never eaten there but I here they make good subs) and next to that is another greek place(never eaten there either but its more expensive than the other greek place), behind that is the famous STRIP; the strip is where the clubs/bar are for students mostly freshman are there during the summer since its right across the street from campus. they sell pretty cheap drinks but honestly, its always cheaper to go to bajas/rokbar on Pensacola since you only have to tip them good and they give u really good drinks and plenty as well. as you continue down the block is zaxbys and then art of catwalk(a workoutplace for girls/salon) and then is bull’s or as other know it as bullwinkles(a 21 and over place) more for a older crowd and very chill and relaxing. $ 10 fee at the entrance all you can drink on Fridays BUT if you want a larger cup to drink pay $ 5 extra in the bar and they give you a huge cup so you don’t have to stay by the bar the entire time. as you can see this place is ideal location for being around fsu considering it really is right behind it. definitely consider staying here!
