We were well on our way to Flamingo Gardens to see the holiday light show before realizing that it had ended the day prior. This place has been bookmarked for me since I read a glowing review from a fellow Unilocaler and saw what appeared to be legit looking Americanized Chinese. Anyone who lives in S Florida knows the Chinese options (with a few handful of exceptions) are simply atrocious. The pickings get even slimmer when looking for good Americanized Chinese. I definitely agree that this is some good Chinese takeout. It is not mind-​blowing, but it is much better than almost any other Chinese I have tried in the tri-​county area. The general tsos chicken was the closest to «right» I have found down here. Spare ribs were tasty, but a little dry. Fried rice was adequate. Egg roll was tasty. Prices and service were both good. It’s a good find…

I’ve been here twice, the first time wasn’t bad. My second visit was 10/​25/​2015. I ordered chicken and broccoli with krab Rangoon. About 4 hours after having this meal, I was violently sick. Went to the doctors 10/​26/​2015 and yup, I was right… food poisoning. I don’t recommend the restaurant to anyone!!! Disgusting!!!

Now this is the Chinese food I’m used to back up north. Wish they delivered… but I don’t mind leaving home when its this good. Tried some other place in the area that delivered, and was I disgusted. I started to lose hope in good cheap Chinese food down here. This will definitely be our go to Chinese spot from now on. Hope they start delivering soon!!!

If you have any health standards you shouldn’t eat here. I ordered the boneless ribs with French fries, as they were making the food I noticed the cashier who just took my payment pick up the boneless ribs with her bare hands and place them in a pot, she then proceeded to do the same with the French fries. At this time I approached her and asked her to cancel my order, with a baffled face she said that too late I already started making it. I told her exactly what I just witnessed her do and that I’m not eating from here. Got my refund and left. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I thought the food honestly was awful. I ordered Szechuan chicken and the chicken was rubbery and didn’t seem like high quality. The wonton soup didn’t have too much flavor either. The pork fried rice was ok, but I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for Chinese food. I’ve had much better.

I just had the house Lo Mei!!! its taste amazing. The sauce was really cooked and marinated the noodle. Where as other Chinese stores barely cook it. Great place. Should get delivery.

The young chow fried rice is extremely delicious. I’ve been to plenty of China restraints all over the world even in the Bay Area and noting compares to this. Last month I went on a business trips to Singapore and even the rice in that country isn’t as good as it is in this restaurant. I even tried the crab Ragons and they aren’t cheap about it like most Chinese restraints they filled it to the top and it was very filling and they actually had some visible crab meat in it. In other Chinese places that I’ve been to it was never like this. I really got my monies worth and definitely recommend this place to anyone or to come travel here if your not from this this area it’s worth traveling.

Mmmmmmm…, I’m seriously fighting myself to put the fork down, but i have to write this review now. If you ever missed ny style Chinese food,…You know, that real good food from the store down the block,…(the one that the second you called, they pretty much knew your voice because you’re a frequent customer)…then look no further. I haven’t had REAL good Chinese take out in a longg while. After walking around old time pottery, which can be a LONG time, i got hungry and looked up Unilocal,to see what was in the area.
This store is located in the same plaza as Old Time Pottery but it’s at the other end. You have to drive around corner of the Marshalls and it’s right next to the subways. I had trouble finding it at first, because Maps had the pointer in the wrong place, but i updated it.
Walking in, i was surprised by the size and the brightness of the inside. I forgot that Florida has bigger stores and aren’t piled up against each other lol I looked up the menu and called ahead for pick up. When i got there, a nice woman greeted me and got my order ready to go. (I called 15 minutes in advanced)
There is a seating area with about 4 tables, seating 4 each. Also theres a tv on the wall and lots of cool ac. What really caught my attention, was the colorful food pictures posted NEATLY on the store glass. In one glance you learn that they cater and what food they cater.
The menu is colorful and the prices are great. I enjoyed the rice a bit more than NY. The boneless ribs were spot on and the egg roll was devoured before i started my car. It’s was crispy and Crunchy but soft inside and filled to capacity with veggies and pork.
If your in the area, this is a great stop to grab a bite!

The food and portions are awesome. Didn’t have to wait long and food is fresh and made to order. Definitely will be back.

Food was really good tasted just like New York Chinese Food just a bit better. I had boneless spare with pork fried rice which came with an egg roll and free can of soda. The wait wasn’t too bad and there was air conditioning while you wanted. They were also very clean and have open kitchen so you can see them preparing your food.

This place is horrible I repeat no type of customer service the food was horrible I will never eat here the kitchen doesn’t even look sanitary i will tell everyone not to ever go here

Food is awesome ! Taste like real New York cooking, very clean ! Wait time is about 10 mins or so depending on what you buy. They’re really friendly and try to make your food top notch. I would refer to anyone. Chicken and broccoli is amazing ! Plus it’s and open kitchen.
