Eclipse Salon and Spa

Tara is the one to see! She listened to my *special snowflake* requests and honored them without judgement. I was new to the area without a stylist and I kept putting off getting a haircut but now I’ve found my girl. :)

Based off of other reviews I decided to give Eclipse a try. The salon is tucked away in a shopping plaza and if you weren’t looking for it you might just pass right by. My appointment was with Melissa who was running behind, I waited 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. She really made up for that though! The atmosphere of the salon was very relaxed, great music that wasn’t too loud or too soft, friendly staff, and very clean. As a first visit she asked a lot of questions about my hair, routine, and what I wanted. The color is amazing, some of the best highlights I’ve ever had. The shampoo and scalp massage were first rate! They even offered me a glass of wine. While 3.5 hours in the salon was a bit much, I’ll definitely be back for a second chance! The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is due to the wait and time spent at the salon. Everything else — service, product, atmosphere, etc is top notch!

Love this place! Rita is awesome. I have been going to her since 2006. She is the best. Never had a bad haircut or color in 8 years.

I needed a last-​minute haircut (was visiting family in the area) and this was the closest place; my uncle’s girlfriend recommended them highly, yet I’ll admit to being skeptical; she and I are a few decades apart in age and our styles differ, but Eclipse didn’t disappoint.
I was taken care of by Melissa and wouldn’t hesitate to return on my next trip: she was thoughtful, attentive, patient yet efficient — and I love my haircut! She started off by asking detailed questions about exactly how much length I wanted to lose, and consulted me further throughout the process.
I’ll admit to being a bit of a snob (accustomed to getting my haircut in San Francisco & London for easily 4x the price) and I was nervous heading into this modest storefront tucked in a nondescript strip mall — but don’t be fooled by the casual atmosphere. The customer service is excellent, the staff is professional, and the value is almost too good to be true. First-​time customers get 25% off! what are you waiting for?!

The salon is always clean, bright and cheery. I have not left unhappy since I began going. The entire staff is awesome.
