Blissfully Yours is not very«blissful» to consign with. They’ve begun to charge«credit card fees» on items you consign. Instead of taking cash only or eating the fees themselves they charge you, the customer the fee when another customer buys your item. I think I’ll stick with eBay or another consignment shop from now on. Oh and it isn’t a set credit card fee either. The more they sell your item for the bigger the credit card fee. The first one was $ 0.42, second was $ 0.48 and the last one I was charged was $ 0.94. Interesting…

So I stopped into Blissfully Yours today, it was the recommendation of a friend of mine to find a unique piece for a wedding I qqwas attending. When I walked into the store I was greeted by a very nice young lady. She explained to me how the store was split the front end being Boutique new items and the back end of the store being consignment gently pre-owned items. I have to admit that I loved the unique style, everything was extremely classy, and very different, which is a nice change vs going to department stores where everything is identical. I picked up two dresses that I was extremely impressed with and the store clerk even match than online price for me. I will definitely be back to see what other items they have over the seasons.

I walk past Blissfully Yours all the time en route to the Publix next door, and finally wandered in. The shop is broken into two sections: a boutique, filled with pieces that look like the lovechild of Forever 21 and Lilly Pulitzer, and a consignment closet, where a used $ 100 sweater can be yours for the low low price of $ 85! The staff all had a sugary-sweet-to-make-the-sale demeanor, and couldn’t be bothered to stop gossiping about a previous customer when I had a question to ask them about their merchandise. Thanks, but no thanks!

Terrible service. I brought in a pair of crystal ceiling lights and a ceramic waste basket to be sold on consignment. They didn’t sell after about two months, so I went to pick them up a few weeks prior to the time they would be off consignment. After waiting in line to talk to someone, I was told I should walk around the store and find the items myself. After searching all over the store, I asked for assistance. The woman went to the back of the store(where customers are not allowed) and brought out my lights still in the boxes just as I given them to her. They were never even put out on the floor to be sold! That same woman(who I believe is the owner. with short black hair) went back to the sales desk where I then I noticed my ceramic waste basket was behind the counter being used to store their writing pens!!! WOW! The woman dumped her pens into a box and handed me the item. And didn’t allow me to rest it on the counter for a second so I could re-group my items… she said it might scratch the glass! Not any apology! Not even an explanation! Nothing. As if this was perfectly acceptable. This place wants 50% of your profit on consignment and expects you to follow up(on Internet only, no calls) to find out if your item sells, and then expects you to find your own item in that giant mess of wall to wall stuff without any help. And if you’re lucky they won’t first USE your item. Unbelievable!

This is a wonderful designer boutique and consignment shop. It recently moved and is a bit hidden but is a great and unique place. There aren’t too many places that have a great selection of new boutique items and a place to take your nice items for consignment. The staff is also super personable and friendly. I will definitely be making more trips and look forward to my consignment experience with them.
