Good seafood & reasonably priced. I take my girlfriend here since she is a pescatarian.

We went last weekend for lunch on Saturday. It was a celebration lunch after my daughter’s college graduation, we arrived at 11:30am — we were the first customer’s at this just opened restaurant. For some reason it took FOREVER for our waitress to approach us for drinks. FOREVER to bring us the drinks. FOREVER for her to take appetizers orders. FOREVER for her to take the order. FOREVER for the appetizer to be delivered. We couldn’t figure out WTH to problem was! I mean 40 mins into our dining the restaurant still only had 5 tables, 2 other servers were on the floor and service was at a snails pace! Geez! When we received our salads, appetizer and food — it was good and hot. But our entire lunch for FIVE people was dragged out to nearly a TWOHOUR experience due to their extremely slow service(fyi: we didn’t have coffee nor dessert). I won’t be running back to visit this location anytime soon. Was not a fan.

Why do mediocre resturaunts think all shortcomings and errors can be remedied by discounting a meal… my time is worth more than $ 4… get serious… all you had to do was your job… prepare one meal .perhaps all that money and training was not meant for reality.

A little slow service on this particular day but the Pecan Crusted Trout was delicious as usual. The manager Ray is awesome and sad to say I missed seeing him tonight. All in all a pretty good evening our

Went here Friday evening for dinner with my husband and child. It was packed but outside seating is first come first serve so got a table quickly. Our server Billy was friendly and took our orders quick. The fresh bread and dip really good. However that’s where the fun ended. My starving baby’s kid meal took over 25 mins to come out. Then hubby and I waited for another 40 – 45 mins and no food. Checked with server and he after checking with the kitchen realized he/they forgot to put our order in! Hour later we get our meal. He brought us house salad after realizing his error. I ordered fish– blackened with sautéed spinach and potato au gratin. Fish was chewy, spinach was bland. Au gratin was the best part. Hubby ordered lamb chops and said it was ok. We were starving at that point anyway. Went there for the homemade donuts. Asked him half way through dinner if that would take as long as our meal– assured us it wouldn’t and he put it in. Well 30 mins after our dinner– no donuts. He took the $ 5 charge off the bill and we left exhausted, disappointed and pretty unsatisfied with our experience.

I love this place, came here with the wife and a Unilocal buddy, we really enjoyed out meal and it wasn’t slammed, so it was a bit quieter, which is nice when you want to talk with your table. We all had something a bit different, but did share some things that we had gotten, which made it nice to have a sampling of several different things on the menu. I had originally come here several years ago and was not impressed, but in the past few years Bonefish has really stepped it up and now is one of my favs to go to when I’m back home in Tampa. I would suggest anyone that hasn’t been to Bonefish to try it, it’ll be well worth the trip.

We went here the other night, what kind of early about 5 o’clock because we hadn’t eaten lunch and we’re starving. Hi, North Tampa Bonefish why can’t you be consistent. I had the money with the pumpkin ravioli, sounds totally delicious. First we didn’t get any bread, the fish was overcooked, the ravioli had too much dough, the feeling was very tasty but not really memorable, the green beans for more Robin al dente and nothing was hot it was barely warm. I did really enjoy the topping on the pumpkin ravioli little bit of bacon, like a fresco cheese, and chives it was very good accompaniment to the dish. My friend got the twin lobster tails which were slightly overcooked and not really very sweet. I think the thing that really kind of got me there was the butter wasn’t even clarified. Oh well you try to go out have a good dinner and you end up with less than what you expected. Oh, I almost forgot we started off with the corn and lump crab meat soup with was really a disappointment. The base flavor was nice but the crab was very difficult to find. This is about my 4th time at this Bonefish and I gotta say I much prefer Henderson to Carrollwood. Will I return to Carrollwood maybe if its an emergency but not likely. What’s a girl to do? When you love fish you want it cooked correctly.

We came in early on a Saturday, right around 11 when they opened. The restaurant was pretty empty when we first got there so we sat at the bar. Gabriel was our bartender, he was very nice and our drinks were delicious. I had the pear martini and my friend had a flavored sangria. We had the stone crab and the bang bang shrimp tacos. The stone crab was amazing! It is served with a house made mustard sauce which compliments the crab incredibly! The stone crab is seasonal so be sure to get there and try it out! I also ordered some to-go food which came out at the perfect time. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely stop in next time we are in the area.

We eat here at 2 – 3 times per month & even more often when they offer the swordfish & pumpkin ravioli. The staff is friendly and never turn their nose up when we use coupons, which is quite often. BTW, Bonefish Grill is offering a Black Friday Bonus thru Monday 11⁄30 where you buy $ 50.00 in Gift Cards you get $ 50.00 in Bonus Offers : $ 10.00 Bonus Card. Then Four $ 10.00 Cards for Dinner. One each month from February thru May ’16. I’m not complaining !

We arrived on a Wednesday night and kind of surprised to see how packed they were. But we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. They have some comfy outdoor seating to wait so it wasn’t that bad. I was impressed when they called us in 16 min to a table. Service here has always been superb. Great team and kudos to management for consistency. Brie was personable and professional. They had renovated since last time I was here. Removing the wall that separates the bar area, it now looks more open and inviting. The lights dimmed during our meal, giving it a more elegant ambience. We shared the bang bang shrimp app which is just slightly spicy and always a favorite. I ordered the grilled salmon, with a side of potatoes au gratin. The salmon comes with several choices of toppings. I chose the herb pesto but to my surprise, our server brought out all 5 for me to try. For a small upcharge, you can add a salad. The salmon was a nice size and moist. The only issue was I found a small piece of plastic and luckily didn’t eat it. Showed it to our server and she informed the manager. They comped our appetizer.

I do not love chains, but if there is one that I do love it is Bonefish Grill! We like this location better than the one closer to us in Wesley Chapel. They were remodeled last year, & there is more light, & the decorations are nice and fresh. Their outside patio is much bigger too. That is often where we frequent since it is dog friendly. They have lots of shade and fans too. We came here so I can get my fave seasonal entrée — swordfish with pumpkin ravioli with green beans. My hubby got the calamari. Both did not disappoint. Their drinks are always good too. Last time I ordered a pineapple martini. This time, I just drank lots of water. Our service is good and always helpful. They do not have their bar bites menu anymore. That stinks, but hopefully a new promo will be coming, & we can all try it. We will be back here sometime for sure!

If you’ve never had bang bang shrimp, you’re missing out. The appetizer portions are large, and with a side salad, could be enough for a meal. Drinks are good and the food is consistent. I’m not expecting a 5* meal here, but the meal far exceeds the price point. Great service and a good atmosphere. I’ll be back for sure.

We went on a Wednesday evening around 6:30 and it was packed because of the special on Bang Bang Shrimp and happy hour. This is our favorite appetizer so we ordered two. The shrimp are sweet and tender with just the right amount of breading to give it a crisp taste and the sauce is simply divine. You can do what they term a «gratuitous call-ahead» and put your name on the wait list before you leave for the restaurant. I believe it does cut down on the wait time so try it if you are able. The bar area of this restaurant can get very crowded. They also have first-come, first-served tables in the bar which add to the crowd but are nice to have in case you do not want to wait for a table in the main dining room.

My girls and I stopped in here before the Train concert at the Ampitheater as its close to my house. We got there during happy hour and sat at the high rised table along the bar wall. Very comfortable seating for a bar area. I wasn’t super hungry so I opted for an appetizer. It was the Thai coconut shrimp and it was so good! The shrimp had just the right blend of coconut and spices on it and wasn’t greasy. The sauce was served on the side(I asked to have it that way) and was sweet with a bit of zing, but not too much that I couldn’t handle it. The dish had 6 large sized shrimp on it and I was satisfied after wolfing all of them down. My cocktail was also very good. I ordered their version of a Moscow Mule. It had a very strong ginger flavor and even had some candied ginger as a garnish. I happen to like the ginger so it was okay for me. Anymore though and it would have been too much. My total bill including tip was $ 21. A bit pricey but it was my night out and was cheaper than dropping $ 30-$ 40 for a full dinner.

I had heard of Bonefish Grill from my mother. It’s a go-to place for mature hang outs and date nights. I went with my boyfriend for date night on a Friday night. Since we were really hungry, we went during the earliest time for dinner. Let me tell you that it was the best time because within an hour after 5pm it started to get packed. We sat in a long booth that could fit 6 people. It was wonderfully roomy. Our server was friendly and attentive, enough for a nice dining experience. Our table was lined with brown paper, typical at seafood places. Since we were really hungry, I ordered two appetizers. Always order the special, so I opted for the Lobster stuffed shrimp and the POPULAR Bang bang shrimp. Both hit the spot. The lobster stuffed shrimp came with 4 pieces in a hot skillet. It was creamy, crunchy, and delicious. The bang bang shrimp was mixed with a spicy mayo sauce topped with scallions. I like to top it off with a little lemon to cut the richness. Since the server noted that they’re a «wood-fired grill fresh fish daily» concept, we opted for their fish. I ordered the Atlantic salmon with mango salsa(on the side so I can taste the fish plain-delicious and perfectly seasoned with salt and pepper) with whipped garlic mashed potatoes and their seasonal veggie-butternut squash. The other was Rainbow trout with lemon butter(on the side-still very delicious) and whipped garlic mashed potatoes and butternut squash. Everything hit the spot and was delicious that we finished EVERYTHING. Had I saved room for dessert I would have opted for the pumpkin crème brûlée because Fall makes me go crazy for pumpkin. Next visit. TIP: Try to come early or make a reservation for the weekend, it gets pretty packed. It’s a better stress-free experience.

First time eating at the Carrolwood locator and it was a nice experience. Wednesday nights there are special shrimp deals and specials so it got pretty busy and our server took a while until he greeted us as well as getting us drinks. But other than that he did well to take care of my date and I. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, Scallops & Shrimp skewer, and the Swordfish & pumpkin ravioli special. The bang bang was not as spicy as I’ve had elsewhere but still yummy and well sized. My shrimp and scallops were well cooked and prepared. 6 big shrimps and 4 small– medium sized scallops. Quality vs. quantity seems to sum them up. They tasted great with the new line tomato garlic sauce. My date got the swordfish and pumpkin ravioli special and she loved it(first time having swordfish and eating at Bonefish)! I enjoyed it as well. It was topped with a butter shallot sauce and feta cheese and the fish melted in my mouth. The pumpkin ravioli is also not too strong with pumpkin flavor, but rather a nice subtle taste as well as brown sugar. Overall good service and excellent food! The décor and ambiance also made the experience one to make me come back.
