The burgers are good and the service is great. I love $ 5 burgers on Mondays. Otherwise I get a veggie monger. The portion is fries is just right for a side though usually the burger is more than enough to fill me up. I really like the rewards card.

The burgers are good. It was cooked perfectly. I like the way you order. The toppings are endless. I love the fresh cut fries! Great atmosphere. It’s a Friday night not over crowded.

I live near by this burger place and regularly i visit there for their tasty burgers. For me this is one of the best burger place in town. Excellent choice of toppings such as caramelized garlic cloves, crispy onion bits, guacamole etc. You must go on a nice summer day to enjoy their patio.

Ok, we were here once years ago and my daughter found a bone in her burger and so did I so we decided not to come back… Well, tonight my son wanted to try it again so we went and he found 2 large bones in his burger! The service was slow, and the burgers were extremely well done– the only redeeming grace was the topping,(bacon, tomato/balsamic and brie cheese) however, our egg was like a piece of rubber. In addition, the lighting is awful! We won’t be going back. we miss BGR– they were the best!

I haven’t been to burger monger and almost over a year. Any time I’ve been craving a fast burger I’ve hit up burger culture burger 21 or five guys but today I was craving egg and this is really the only option. I’m not sure if my taste buds have changed or the food has changed but I was not very satisfied. The service was incredibly friendly and very helpful, but the food fell below par. I do love the fact that you can make your sandwich anyway you want but the burgers & fries were incredibly greasy(soaked in it) & for $ 30 for two burgers and half of fries I’m not really sure I’m a fan anymore.

I’ve been going to Burger Monger since before i was a Unilocaler but this visit was the first in a long while. They had a new burger on the menu and my hubby and I both tried one. The Pittsburgh burger! It’s based off a Primanti Brothers sandwich where the fries and the cole slaw is on the burger. It was really good! We shared a plate of fries and they were really good. Fresh cut not frozen. They have a bunch of TV’s on the wall and the girl there was nice enough to put the FSU game on for us. My Only complaint and reason for giving 4 stars is 1) there was a group of employees gathered in the back of the store and wondered if that is why our food was slow to arrive. And 2) the tables were dirty. With employees just sitting around and the place not super busy. I couldn’t help but wonder why so many tables hadn’t been wiped down. The food here is good and I’ll be back though.

The burgers are cooked to order. So many toppings to pick from. Would go back. Eat there when it first opened the quality is still there, but I don’t think that they are using Häagen-Dazs ice cream for the shakes anymore.

A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Best tasting burgers I’ve had in a while and they give you a whole lot of fries for a whole order, so I suggest going the half-order route. A definite go-to spot for burgers.

This place is a pretty good burger joint. Nothing special but DEFINITELY better than fast food. I would eat here again. I had my burger with grilled mushrooms and swiss cheese. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. There are quite a lot of topping options.

Burger Monger exceeded my expectations for a burger place, but it’s still a burger place. Nice cold pitcher of beer and a veggie burger with all the toppings I want, self-selected. Yum. Better than Burger21 in my opinion.

I love coming here to get a fresh burger the way I like it. When you enter Buger Monger, you are greated with friendly faces and a come eat here style voices. I enjoy getting to choose every topping and feel the value for my selection. I find it convenient that the have draft beers and milkshakes, as i like the beers and my boyfriend raves about the shakes, because they always bring you the extra. I just its the little things that count :) We will be back.

I’ve been to Burger Monger twice now, so I feel it’s time to review. It’s not a bad burger. I like the fact that there are many toppings to choose from including cheeses. However, although the beef is from he wagyu variety I don’t find it extraordinary. Maybe it’s the lack of seasonings or the fact that it’s not prepared grilled or griddled? Again, it’s not bad, just didn’t blow me away. I’m not a huge fry eater, but I’ll eat them very hot and with dipping sauces. The fries are long and fried somewhat dark so they are firm with a crisp. Not very flavorful, so I threw salt and pepper on them. I ordered the cheese on the side which was pretty good. I think there’s small pieces of meat in the cheese sauce which made it interesting. I’d come back if someone wanted to go, but if craving a burger in the area I’d choose burger 21 at this price point.

I’m a huge Burger guy, so I was really excited to try Burger Monger for the first time. I cannot believe how utterly disappointing this place proved to be. First off, I will say that the staff and workers there are not the problem… the service is excellent and everyone is really nice. The problem is the FOOD which is shockingly awful! I don’t think I have ever tasted a hamburger with a more bitter and foul-tasting aftertaste than what I got at Burger Monger. And before anyone goes off on me and says«you just don’t know what Kobe tastes like» you are wrong… I do know and I do like Kobe. But I would be willing to bet that the meat here has nothing to do with Kobe beef. I’m not sure what I’m missing, but this place was truly an assault on my taste buds… one of the absolute worst hamburgers I have ever tasted and will never be back.

Pretty decent burgers! I stopped in for a quick meal during a quick visit to the Tampa area on the advice of a friend. Turns out my friend knows a thing or two about great burgers! The restaurant has a cool vibe with a bright and modern décor. The menu is expansive with plenty of options. I ordered a regular 6oz kobe burger with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. The burger was juicy, tender, hot and fresh. It was served with a pound of fresh cut fries. The fries were okay but I wasn’t crazy about them. But to be fair, I’m not big on fresh cut fries in the first place. I will say though that I thought the portion size was smaller than I expected. We dined in the restaurant and had a fine experience. The staff was pleasant and professional. If there were Burger Monger locations up north I’d definitely be a frequent visitor.

I received a birthday email from BurgerMonger this past year and decided to finally try it out. We went for lunch to get my complimentary 6oz. Burger Monger. Personally, I did not taste a difference in the beef at BurgerMonger. It is supposed to be pure Japanese Akaushi Kobe beef(which I’m really not even sure what that is) but it tasted the same as something you could get at any old diner. I did like that you could choose between several cheese options. The fries were pretty tasty, but I prefer a meal that comes with fries as opposed to having to pay for them separately. I guess I expect a lot for a $ 10 meal at a burger joint. BurgerMonger does offer a different special every Monday through Thursday. You can get a $ 3 hotdog on Thursdays or a $ 5 burger on Mondays. I may try out the cheap hotdogs eventually or maybe I’ll just wait until my birthday rolls around again for another free sandwich. It just wasn’t that impressive for me to go out of my way to eat there.

Touting a huge sign on the outside of their store as being voted«The best burger in Tampa Bay» i can say that they are def in top contentions for that crown. With flat screens at every corner & the sizzle of cooked pattys in the air, this place has a great vibe inside. The burgers taste fresh & are made to order which i really appreciate. But the best part is the wide selection of toppings … simply amazing. Try the burger monger sauce. It reminds me of thousand island dressing or like the Mac sauce at mcdonalds but with a little more zest! Oh & their fries portions are humongous!(me and the misses got away with ordering the kid sized portion for one individual and still had left overs in the end!) I ordered my burger with mushrooms & swiss cheese and after each bite you can taste the crunch of the burger bun. Combined with the butter on the patty this burger had me salivating after every bite. They have a cool frequent customer loyalty card so make sure to sign up as you can get a coupon for a free burger on your birthday!

At strong urging of one of my friends who LOVES this place, I tried it for the $ 5 Burger Night which is Mondays. This is the much more affordable option now that my fave Five Guys has increased its prices yet again. I will say I was not disappointed. Its not the big nasty greasy burger I am used to but I enjoyed it. Burger Monger specializes in a more gourmet burger experience. The burgers are Kobe beef. There is a selection of 30+ toppings including cheese, vegetables and sauces which you can add. Some of the toppings are consider premier and cost additional but most are included. They also have chicken and hot dogs if you have varied preferences in your family. The burger was a bit small to me and would not be filling if not accompanied by any sides but I enjoyed it. I would go back again, probably more often if I lived closer. Its worth a try in my opinion for sure.

While this wasn’t the type of burger I was looking for today it was very tasty! I ordered a Double Monger which was too much but it tasted good. The burger was cooked like I like it and their toppings were just the right amount. The fries were great as well. They brought them to my table fresh from the fryer and they were cooked perfectly. The skin was crisp and the inside wasn’t soggy at all. All in all I enjoyed it. This place is very similar to a Five Guys.

Not the best burgers and fries that I’ve ever had. Honestly after having come here a few times I wish I would have liked it more than I do. The burger doesn’t have that much taste and I feel that even with all the ingredients you can put on the burger it doesn’t taste nearly as good as it should. But don’t get me wrong this place is still nice to eat at. The atmosphere is nice and the workers there are pretty nice. The first time I went they were very good at answering my questions and helping me pick what might go well with the burger. It was all nice but the food just didn’t deliver. That jalapeño ranch is something else though.
