So The final bill showed up for my ER visit which was 2 X-Rays, having my leg wrapped in an ace bandage, a Motrin, and a pair of crutches. $ 4,600, which our portion under our high cap insurance plan was $ 2,500. My wife called Trinity hospital asking about this ridiculous level of charges for services rendered. Their response«We have no billing dispute process. You have to pay what it states. You can pay the bill in full, or we can set up a payment plan for you». Note, this is the bill from the ER itself. Apparently another bill will be coming from the doctor who saw me during the visit with his service charges. I would caution anyone to be very cautious when using Trinity Hospital or their stand alone ER facilities. Their rates appear highly disproportionate to the norm, and their attitude is suck it up and deal with it.

Overall the visit was fine. The problem is: this location isn’t covered(and this insurance plan coverers a lot!). I strongly suggest you check they take your insurance before you go back as they won’t tell you until you get the bill in the mail.

Where to start! First, I give zero stars. Come in with a nosebleed, unknown why, bleeding profusely(gushing), and can’t get even a nurse to come see how bad it was. The check-in(if a «check-in» is what you call it) was unbelievable! They took no name, no info as what it was about, and it was by the security guard who did the process(who was clearly over his head). When I asked if they took my insurance, I was told«oh we take all insurance.» Basically all the info was«you are patient #4.» They said there was a critical case going on, however I saw people walking around. A nurse could’ve come up to see what was happening. I asked how many nurses and staff are back there. «Oh there’s 10 nurses.» The place is a joke. I can’t even imagine what the care would’ve been like had we stayed. We left and went to St. Joseph’s North where we were immediately attended to and taken back. Very professional. My thoughts on Citrus Park ER is stay away. Just unbelievably bad! I can’t imagine you will receive proper care!

I’ll keep this one brief. Visited back in September for a minor case of high BP. Received an EKG and an IV, was told I needed to see my PCP since it wasn’t considered a true emergency and that my visit had been fully covered by my insurance and that my deductible had been met and off you go! A month later I get a bill for about $ 400, call my insurance and was advised to contact them myself next time. The service nor the treatment I received justifies anything close to this amount. They must be crazy…

If I could give zero stars I would. $ 800 charge for«use of ER» and $ 789 for«physician fee». Spent 15 min there and was given a bandaid. Will not be returning

I wish there was a ZERO star option!!! I went in to the Citrus Park ER with signs and symptoms of some sort of infection. I had a CT scan and everything came back normal. The doctor misdiagnosed me and I knew what he diagnosed me with was incorrect. When I started asking probing questions to understand why he diagnosed me the way he did and to understand my symptoms he simply stated,“those questions are for a GI doctor I’m an ER doctor and I’m suppose to make sure you aren’t in any type of emergency situation and you’re not.” With this misdiagnosis and no meds prescribed to me 3 weeks later I end up being admitted in to the hospital on IV antibiotics and pain meds the same day as a consultation with another doctor with emergency surgery the next. The ER doctor as this facility is rude and doesn’t listen to clients concerns or needs. Maybe if he would have caught this in time I wouldn’t have had to stay 3 days in a hospital or be in as much pain as I was. If you can help it don’t go to this ER try and go to the Fast Trak walk in clinic down the street they’re great!!!

We came here this morning. We got right in and he was taken care of immediately. We would definitely return.

My husband took my 11 year old son to this ER tonight. I had called prior to him going there to find out how long the wait time would be. I was told that there was only a 2 minute wait time. When my husband arrived, there was another man and his son waiting, but no one was working at the registration desk to check people in! There was only a security guard in the lobby who said that someone would be out soon. After waiting for 10 minutes, my husband called me. I proceeded to make a phone call into the ER to find out what was going on. The male who answered the phone had a very nasty tone of voice with me. He stated that everyone was in the back helping the doctors with patients, but someone would come out front shortly. So much for a 2 minute wait. I hung up the phone, called my husband, and told him to get out of there and go to St. Joe’s ER. As my husband was leaving, two nurses began running after him and asked him to stay. My husband told them that there was no way he was staying and asked them to back off. I have to agree with the other review… stay far away from this ER. The people really do have attitudes and it is definitely not being managed well.

I went to the brand new Citrus Park Emergency Room on Saturday, June 20, 2015 around 7:00pm. I had fallen on the concrete and wanted to make sure I had not broken anything. I went there for X-rays. My nurse(I know her name but did not want to publicily put it on-line) was just down right B__chy. That is the only word to describe her behavior. Very poor bedside manner. She took her sweet time getting back to me in the room. I am giving Citrus Park ER one star because the Doctor did her job. The nurse basically told me that the Doctor was not going to see me again after the results of the X-ray came back, so they could give me my diagnosis. She was very lazy. I did see the Dr. walk by and asked her to come in to go over everything with me. The nurse did not have much empathy for her patients. Then I had to go back there because there was a mix up with the prescription medicine they gave me. The head nurse(I have her name but again did not want to write it on-line) could have cared less about me. She was the head charge nurse. She was literally trying to run away from me as I was talking to her. They did not solve my problem or help me at all. She kept saying«that’s all we can do, that’s all we can do.» Her attitude said it all. When she was leaving, I asked for her manager’s name/number and she barely would walk over to me to hand it to me, she wanted to walk away from me so fast. Here’s the deal: It’s FREE to be nice! I don’t care if it’s at Walgreen, Walmart, a school, or a hospital. The nurses and staff at the Citrus Park ER, which is owned by Trinity Hospital can be nice to their patients. But they choice not to be. I would never ever go back there again. Definately go to another ER and you can look on the hospitals apps how long the wait is. There is a security guard that was watching a movie on his iPhone when I walked in. No nurses or Triage Nurses at the front desk… they have to call someone out to help people. Very poorly run. I don’t see them staying in business for more than a year.
