Citrus Park Bikes

While Im sure they are qualified but, not helping someone out while they are riding on the trail and having mechanical issues suck! CC was in back pocket and money never came up! Won’t recommend as an old roadie!

New road bikes, some cruisers and a few mountain bikes (seems to deal mostly in Raleogh for new bikes) plus a mix of interesting used bikes and rentals right in the Upper TB trail. Service. Nice indie smallisj local shop. :) also some benches and canopy out front. :)

Great prices, customer service and location. My boyfriend and I decided to something different for valentines day and ride bikes. The rental process was simple and great cost. They helped us pick out bikes, made sure mine was the right size since I’m so short. They are located right off the upper Tampa bay trail in the citrus park area. We rented for an hour and was plenty time to go up and down the trail in this area. We saw a dad with his kids in a child carrier as well so they have a great selection no matter your needs.

On my quest to become a real cyclist, I bit the bullet and purchased a new bike here. I had been advised by many people that my old mountain bike was not the right bike for me.
Another shop recommended a city bike, but Miguel at Citrus Park Bikes suggested I get a road bike. They have both new and used bikes here for sale as well as daily/​hourly rental. The store is located on the Upper Tampa Bay trail, which makes it convenient to zip in and out for an adjustment. I had my dog with me on my first visit and they let me bring her inside.
I ended up purchasing a beautiful new Raleigh road bike. Miguel was willing to negotiate with me on the price since I traded in my old one. You can try out your options on the nearby trail, which I did multiple times — since I was having trouble deciding. They also had some used Treks. I think I spent more time deciding on a bike than I did when I bought my car!
I feel confident about my purchase as an investment in my health and future biking career. I would recommend this shop for all those interested in purchasing a bike whether they are a first-​timer like me or an experienced racer. They offer tune-​ups and adjustments and you are welcome to return with any questions or problems.
Overall I had a positive experience and now I have a new bike that rides much better than my old one. I can go twice as fast with half the effort. I can’t wait to use it more, especially once I get my pet trailer to bring my dog with me on the trail!

This place sucks. I contacted them about buying some bikes that I don’t use that are in really good condition. They said they were definitely interested and to bring them by. We packed the bikes up in the back of our car and drove them over on Saturday. It was raining so there were only 2 other people there, 1 person behind us and 1 already being helped. We talked to one guy and mentioned that we had been told to go ahead and bring the bikes in to sell. He looked confused and said we would have to wait for the other guy and it would be about 15 minutes and to go ahead and get one of the bikes out. We took one bike out of the car and stood around for a while. The second guy eventually walked over to it and then walked back into the shop without saying anything. The first guy offhandedly mentions that only the owner can actually buy the bikes and he is out for a couple of months due to surgery. WHY DIDN’T YOU SAY THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE??? Why did we need to get the bike out of the car and stand around in the rain when you weren’t going to be able to buy them??? Needless to say I would never go back here for anything.

I’ve been thinking about renting bikes to go on the Upper Tampa Bay trail for the past year. Every time that I run on the trail, I pass by Citrus Park Bikes. It’s right next to Citrus Park Mall on the bike trail.
Bike rentals are $ 10 an hour. This includes a helmet rental. They also have daily specials. There are multiple kinds of bikes available for rent like road bikes, hybrid bikes, and mountain bikes. I recommend renting a road bike so that you can quickly cruise down the bike trail. The staff is extremely friendly and helps set up your bike. It was a very pleasant experience renting from Citrus Park Bikes.
