Great wine and cheese and meat selection! I came this past Thursday and was invited by a friend. They have $ 10 tastings which I plan to try soon. The wines paired well with the cheese selection available. I definitely plan to come back

Ugh, Tom, why why why can’t you have a spot in Miami?
Thanks to Unilocal I connected with Tom via Facebook and e-​mail incredibly quickly. As someone who works in social media and marketing for a restaurant it’s always refreshing to meet a business owner who embraces it as a way to connect to new customers.
First off, the beers, wine, and cheeses that I saw all look amazing. I’m sure the shop itself is the adult version of a candy store. You can tell Tom gives a hoot about what he’s selling and I loved the craft beer suggestions he made, some being things I never even heard of.
His professionalism and expertise is a breath of fresh air. Our gift recipients were extremely happy with the lovely basket he put together and delivered. If we’re ever in town I’ll be sure to visit; in the mean time I’ll just longingly stare at their Facebook page and sing praises to those of you lucky enough to check this place out.

So I been to Craft and Curd twice now and I gotta say that I really like this place. Now a days when I go to places I tend to review them based on service first and product second (A trip to europe will do that to you. Great food! awful service but that also depends on the country.) I have been to two of their wine tastings and I can say that the staff in Craft and Curd are really courteous and seem passionate about their product. In their wine tasting they’ll bring out different food items to pair with their wines/​beer and if you ask they’ll tell you what they believe it’s best to pair it with. P. S. their cheese selection is the bomb!
One of my favorite parts of the tastings was just hearing the owner tell you what you’re drinking. He’ll tell you the type of wine that it is, where it came from and what you should be tasting. After paying attention to all those details I believe that you really start noticing the slight (or huge) difference between the drinks. During the first wine tasting I feel in love with one of their bottles and I bought it because the price was actually pretty good, so why not. Hmmm I think I might get that cheese next time, but if you’ve never been there before then I would definitely give it a try! P. S. going with friends also makes it a lot more fun.

Went to the 6 Month wine tasting. Had a great time, learned a lot about wine and broaden my palate. I believe the owner has an authentic passion for wine. He is knowledgeable and has no problems spreading the knowledge to people. Any questions I had, he had no problems answering.
The wine tasting had an enormous collection of wine and pairings. I was told normally the tastings do not have such a large amount of wine, this was a special occasion. Staff was friendly, prices here are quite reasonable.
I will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone interested in wine.

I stopped in looking for a gift bottle of wine and came out with that plus a gift bag to go with it, a bottle of wine for myself and a couple beers. Tom was friendly and really knew every single wine in the shop and I was impressed with their selection. He was able to find me just the right bottle within my budget. The wine and cheese tasting sounds really fun, I can’t wait to go!

I called and spoke to Tom at Craft and Curd about getting a case of wine bought and sent to friends that live in Tampa. I am out of state. He was very nice and very helpful. He was able to track down a case and delivered it to my friend’s home. Great experience and highly recommend! Customer service was fantastic!

My husband and I have been coming here for the $ 10 wine/​craft beer/​and cheese tastings and they are a lot of fun. It’s hard to find places that offer wine tastings now a days especially in the Tampa Bay Area. The owner Tom is very nice and knowledgable about the wines he has in his shop. Great selection of wine and craft beer. The cheese selection is awesome and always delicious! The have the $ 10 wine tastings every Friday from 6 – 8 it’s definitely worth going to and bring some friends and enjoy!

I’ve lived in South Tampa for 4 years and there really hasn’t been a decent specialty wine and cheese shop in the area since I’ve been here. Staff/​ownership was super friendly, and the tasting for the wine, cheese and meats on entering was a nice surprise. Prices are affordable. Ended up leaving with the only decent Beaujolais I’ve ever had. The charm here is that they support local beer crafters as well. Support your local businesses Tampa. This place is a gem, complete with all the warm and fuzzies you get from a neighborhood shop.
