This park is great for kids 3 – 5IMHO. There’s a large field next to it for soccer or running around. No water fountains. 2 large pavilions. The only resource for a bathroom is a port-a-potty which has apparently been there over a year, eww. DOWNSIDE: there was trash all over the playground. Likely from the kids at the school, which is right next to the park. I will choose to go back but really wish the city would clean it more often.

Despite the fact that Cross Creek Park has been growing over the past few years, there is still not much going on here. It currently is made up of three baseball fields(which I rarely see being used), a basketball court and a grassy area big enough for a touch football game. The Pride Elementary playground is easily accessible from the park as is a pavilion. Bring water with you, there are no water fountains anywhere to be found. But there is a bathroom. One lonely blue portable pushed up against field one. I can’t vouch for the inside of it or the amount of toilet paper that is stocked because I’ve never used it. On certain mornings(Saturdays?) you can catch hot air balloons taking off from the park. With the sun rising in the background and hot air balloons growing in the foreground, it is quite a serene scene. There are usually cranes walking around the small park so that adds a little natural element. All things being equal, I much prefer Flatwoods or Branchton as there is more to do. Unfortunately those aren’t walkable from my apartment.
