A nice mile long strip of road. Aside from that there isn’t anything else here but cow pastures beyond the fence.

The Disconnect at Kinnan Street is a «park» that has risen out of political strife. About 8 years ago, Hillsborough County built a one mile road that was meant to connect Kinnan Street with Meadowpointe in Pasco County. Pasco was supposed to finish the road. They didn’t and still haven’t. This barren one mile strip has now become a place for bikers, runners, rollerbladers and dog walkers to congregate. It has also beckoned the likes of garbage dumpers and fireworks starters. Despite the things that may or may not go on here under the shroud of nighttime, this is one of the most unique spots in New Tampa. The reason park is in quotes at the top of this review is it is not officially recognized as a park. There are no amenities here. You won’t find a bathroom or water fountain. There are no pavilions(but there is a discarded mattress). You won’t even find a sign here. It is simply asphalt, grass, trees and animals. If that’s your idea of a good time, by all means go here. You’ll probably see me. After all, I think of this place as the Walden of urban sprawl and political wrangling.
