Quaint American diner and exactly what we needed for brunch this Sunday morning. I liked the outside seating and fans cooled us off from the humidity.

This is my go-to when needing some diner type food. I am partial to the $ 6 burger and fries deal from 2 – 7 everyday. I also love the $ 2 mimosas during the same time frame. Mimosas are also offered in a variety of flavors including my favorite, pineapple. I suggest coming here if you are wanting breakfast for lunch dinner or traditionally breakfast time. Just watch out because the wait can get long on the weekends. Also, if you can, there is a bar in the back with first-come first-serve seating!

Any place that serves brunch all day has got a place in my heart! Daily Eats is pumping out nothing but tasty treats all day long. I was traveling through Tampa with some friends of when the pangs of hunger struck. After attempting to head to one place that was closed Daily Eats was discovered, and I couldn’t be more excited about that. We sat outside and the patio is a little small, but not impossible to navigate. First of all, mimosa happy hour. Who doesn’t love a $ 3 opportunity to day drink. Some of the flavors available were strawberry, mango, blueberry, and grapefruit. I tried the strawberry, mango, and blueberry and was no upset in the least. To eat I had the breakfast fiesta bowl and got it spinach based for a $ 1 up charge(typically the base is tater tots). The bowl included corn, black beans, pickled jalapeños, gauc, and some other treats. It also comes with turkey sausage that I omitted. The bowls are a tremendous amount of food which is great for ravenous moments or a meal for two. I’m a fan of sweet treats, especially after something savory. The Eats has a cap-n-crunch pancake and French toast. I got the pancake and another friend of mine got the French toast. Friends, I can’t stress enough to make this a priority. For $ 3 you can get a side of it and share it with no one. Needless to say, the next time I’m out west I will be here!

I had breakfast here the other day for the first time with my son. He wanted pancakes and suggested this place. The staff was friendly and the wait was not long at all, but we were just ahead of the crowd [thankfully]. I mean this place was busting at the seam with customers, folks being served and waiting to be seated. The food tasted ok, but nothing was hot. Well, everything except the pancakes, which were delicious and served hot. I had bacon, hash browns, grits and bacon all served at room temperature. I mean the grits did’t even melt the butter. The eggs did not melt the cheese they sprinkled on top, the turkey sausage looked raw [not browned]. I don’t know. My comp is red lining everything, I don’t why that is either. It has nothing to do with my review. it is just something I don’t know how how to fix at this time.

I have a soft spot for breakfast/brunch food, so Daily Eats is a place that we have frequented often. The service is always prompt and friendly, though we typically sit at the bar where all the service staff are(skip the long wait times, as it is first-come first-served). I get the Cali omelet most often, but I just tried the benedict with avocado/multigrain toast(can’t remember what it’s called) and it was delicious! I’ve never been disappointed with the food that I’ve tried there; everything seems fresh and of good quality. I wouldn’t say that I’m blown away by the food, but it’s definitely consistent and good.

The macaroni and cheese here is hit or miss. Sometimes there’s an abundance of cheese, while other times it’s lacking. The breakfast options here are good, but nothing wows me. The milkshakes are good but take forever to make as they are hand dipped. Service is also hit or miss. Sometimes awesome, other times not. This is your typical South Tampa bait restaurant – the South Howard crowd flocks here and raves about it on social media, all the while, it’s just average.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant out because my boyfriend was raving about it. Unfortunately it turned out to be anything but good. The hostess refused to sit us until our entire party was going to be here. Fair enough. So we waited. In the mean time she sat someone else to the table she was holding for us. Our entire party showed us. She sat someone else in the second table she was holding for us. We waited a total of an hour in a restaurant that wasn’t even busy because the hosted kept ignoring us. As it was happening, I observed her doing exactly same thing to other customers. She would randomly tell people that no table was available inside and forced them to sit outside. My boyfriend continued insisting that it’s worth the wait. So the food was ok, just ok, nothing special. I had one of their signature bowls, small size. I still felt hungry after I finished it. The place was loud. Floors were dirty and the tables were shaking and moving during dinner. You won’t find me back here again.

I love this place. The staff is amazing, super attentive and pleasant. I always overeat here because everything is fairly generic but tasty and I’m not the best at exercising self-control when ordering breakfast(I’m usually starving). It gets busy on the weekend, so get there early or try it out on a weekday. I’ve had the lunch here once and liked it, but I would so rather go for breakfast given the option. You can find vegan-friendly options here if you’re into that sort of thing.

Fantastic whole wheat PB chips & banana pancakes. Very enjoyable and filling. I will return to try other choices on the menu.

Checked this place out back in late Aug-Sept’15. Did a review for Google that I want to add to Unilocal! This place was great! Staff very warm & friendly. Walked in to a small wait(expected due to popularity, no biggie) opted for outside seating & we were sat immediately! There outside seating is very comfortable, it’s underneath a shaded canopy area equipped with mist fans to keep you cool! Our server Jacqueline took excellent care of us & suggested to me her favorite dish, The Chicken Ranch bowl. It was delicious! Subbed Honey Mustard for ranch, & I must say Daily has one of the best honey mustards I’ve tasted, & I’m a self proclaimed HM connoisseur. My drink, The Pineapple Mojito was very refreshing, & I’m typically not a Mojito fan. As a tourist to the city, we were recommended this place by T over at Soleciety Sneaker Boutique. & we’re extremely happy we followed his advice.

Review of the Tampa location. Love this place! Visited for breakfast. Excellent menu with a ton of choices that I had a difficult time deciding on what to order. We sat outside at a table, perfect! Everyone was friendly and attentive. Good coffee in cute mugs, iced coffee came in a mason jar. I had the pulled chicken eggs Benedict with home fries. Yum! Perfectly cooked, good flavor, delicious home fries. I was happy! My brother had an omelette with tater tots. They gave him a few on his plate and told him more are coming. Sure enough our server soon after brought him a bowl filled with more hot and tasty tots! They were so good! Fresh, not frozen tasting and perfectly crisp and yummy. The place was pretty busy for a Tuesday morning but there was no wait when we arrived. If I lived in Florida this would definitely be my favorite breakfast spot!

This is probably one of my favorite go to spots for brunch in Tampa. I’ve been going here since high school especially since it was right down the road from it(Go ahn jags). I would go here if we had half days or after exams. Super relaxing and lively too. Parking can be a slight issue. Sometimes the parking lot at the restaurant is full and you’ll have to go across the street. It’s not as bad but just a tip in case you see the that the parking lot is full. I’ve always gotten the bowls. My number one is bacon and eggs bowl. I usually slather it with ketchup and it hits the spot! I usually order a pancake on the side(great size btw) with chocolate chips. Their mimosas are delicious too. I usually get the strawberry one. Tip! You can also ask for mojitos which aren’t on the menu. They’re just as great as their mimosas. I have yet to try their actual lunch entrees. I’m just a big fan of breakfast foods especially during a time when breakfast isn’t usually served. Daily Eats never lets me down!

Stopped in to Daily Eats for lunch during the week with coworkers. There was a line outside and the place was packed. They do have a nice waiting area outside with a fan however it was hot out and the wait was about 15 or 20 minutes. There is indoor and outdoor seating. On a cooler day, I think the outdoor seating would be very nice. We were able to get a seat inside after waiting for a bit, and the setup inside is really cool. It is similar to an old-school Diner. I got the feel of a very city-ish type place, which I liked. The servers were hustling, likev you’d expect in a diner, we’re very friendly, and were getting it done! Our particular server took our drink orders, answered questions about the menu, made recommendations, and took our lunch order with a smile. I ordered a protein bowl, and it was very tasty. I was also under the impression that it was very healthy :-) The food was made to order and came out quickly. The prices were decent, the service was great. As mentioned, the only drawback is that there are so many people that want to eat here, it seems like you are guaranteed to have a 10 to 15 minute wait for more if you don’t plan your trip here at the right time.

I visited Daily Eats last month for the first time for Saturday brunch. They were quite busy but we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table for two. Our waitress was very friendly but she was inattentive because she was so busy. After finishing our meals we waited over 15 minutes before the waitress came to ask if we were done. I wasn’t impressed by their Traditionalist Benedict. But it was exactly what the menu described. I found the seating extremely uncomfortable. There was only about a 14 inch space between the back of the booth and the table. I barely had any arm room to eat. I will not be returning to the Soho location, but I am looking forward to eating at their new Sarasota location as I want to give them another shot.

First things first, please keep in mind that Daily Eats(or just Soho in general) has a dress code. Guys must be fully decked out in Under Armour gear with BLACK crew socks with neon green Nike running shoes. Gals must be in yoga pants. No other outfit is acceptable in Soho. —– Positives —– (1) I’d rate their food 3.5 stars. I had the Gigante which was two eggs, two stripes of bacon, two pancakes, two pieces of multigrain toast, and home fries. It was solid but nothing to write home about. Eggs were cooked just the way I wanted; home fries and multigrain were pretty good. On the other hand, pancakes and bacon were not too impressive. (2) Daily Eats has great ambiance/vibe. This is in part because of the demographics that Daily Eats attracts. The successful 20⁄30 year-olds who frequent this type of restaurants are usually well-educated, motivated, friendly, and fit. When you eat at Daily Eats, just have a look around. At 9am on a Saturday, the girls there look like they already finished a yoga session and the dudes can barely walk because it was a leg day. It’s quite impressive that these people already went to the gym and had breakfast while lazy people like me are just getting out of bed. Sometimes, I go eat at Daily Eats just to get in the habit of waking up early, planning my day ahead, to surround myself with diligent folks, and get stuff done… You’d be amazed how beneficial a good breakfast is. Seriously, do you want to be someone who wakes up early, eats at Daily Eats, and gets shit done… or do you want to be someone who wastes time on Reddit and eats at Taco Bell at 4am? The choice is yours — Daily Eats or Taco Bell.(frankly, Taco Bell sounds f’ing good right now)

Went here for Sunday Brunch with my husband and a friend. The parking situation is awful on a Sunday and the wait for a table was about 25 minutes. Fortunately they have plenty of shaded areas to wait. Once we got to our table our waitress was less than friendly. She wasn’t rude, just very short with us and obviously just wanted us to get in and out as quickly as possible. Why four stars then, you say? Because the food was the bomb. Between the three of us we had the New York bleu, the fried chicken ranch, and the Mediterranean bowls. All three of us practically inhaled them. Absolutely delicious. We also got a side of tots and a plate of Cap’n Crunch French toast to share. Holy. Jesus. That French toast. Amazing! We were all so stuffed by the time we got to it, but it was sooooo worth going for it. Crunchy crust, custards soft middle, you almost didn’t need syrup with it! We will definitely be back!

I want to give this place 4-stars but I just cannot. more like a SOLID3.5 and here’s why: I came here with a date on a Saturday evening after deciding not to be on the wait list for Green Lemon next door(one hour wait) so decided to give this place a shot. Proceeded to be seated within ten minutes, was introduced to our friendly server and had our drinks ordered. My date and myself proceeded to order a bowl, she had a chicken avocado with guacamole and I proceeded to have a chicken-bacon ranch bowl(both had lettuce and brown rice at the bottom) and I loved the way my entrée was described because I only order that sub whenever I go to subways. We were seated outside initially but then requested to be indoors because of of us were getting cold and found a nice booth next to the entrance. Our major complaint was that our food took well over 30 minutes to receive, granted it was a bit busy and near closing time and our server apologizing for the delay but was still disappointed because my date and myself was hungryyyy! Regardless, I am willing to give this brand another shot as they opened up a brand new location in St. Petersburg-few miles away from my apartment and would recommend this place. if you’re willing to wait a bit for your food to be served.

Oh Daily Eats. This place has been bookmarked for a while and I finally got the chance to try it this Sunday for brunch. Now we all know that brunch places are sometimes overhyped because the idea of brunch is overhyped and Daily Eats, unfortunately, falls into this trap. Parking is limited. Being in the smack middle of SoHo, there are a few parking options. If you find a parking spot in the parking lot, you’re golden. However, if you’re like me and have the worst luck when it comes to… life, there are options for you. Drive through a few of the neighborhoods around. There should be free street parking on some of the streets perpendicular to Howard. Once you spend a while finding parking, you’ll find out that life throws you another curveball: the wait. The wait is in fact forever. If you’re brunching on Sunday, be prepared to wait a good 30 – 40 minutes for a table. I’m guessing this is the same for any weekend brunching. The service is nice and quick. Once we got seated, we quickly blazed through the menu and ordered our food. I got the Steak and Eggs Breakfast Bowl. To be honest, it was quite bland. There was nothing special about this bowl, even though it was highly recommended by other people. My friend got the Tijuana Bowl, which was also a slight let down. Don’t get me wrong, the food was good, but nothing stood out. It was just like any other ordinary breakfast. The home fries on the bottom did have a nice seasoning, but still didn’t make up for the lack of creativity and flavor in the other portion of the meal. tl;dr — Decent brunch spot, but nothing that screams AMAZEBALLS. I would still stop by if you haven’t had the chance to yet.

Ever go to a place and get your food. look around at others and think maybe you got the wrong thing? That’s kind of me and Daily Eats. I would probably put this as a solid 3.5 stars, however my wife would be way closer to 4.5. We’ve been here 3 or 4 times. This time around, one of us was jonesing for breakfast(Me!) and one of us was hot for lunch. I’ve had the french toast before and am less impressed by it than other people, so I tried a Carnivore Omelette(in some places you would call this a butcher something or meat lovers) and it was good, three eggs, various meats, some scallions. Good, not great. It came with the Home Fries which were really good and could have been great if they were hot. And because I was exploring my gourmand side this fine day. I got a short stack of pancakes. This is two whole wheat pancakes(get what you want on them) with butter and syrup. So, I love whole wheat bread, cereals, toast etc… but whole wheat pancakes. those boys’s are just a’ight. Lisa got the BLTA(right, a BLT with avocado) and if you spelled Lisa B-L-T-A it would have her name on it. She thought the sandwich was terrific(taking half home for later… at least one of us understands moderation) and she got the fries with it, they do the battered kind of fries… if your into that kind of thing. I help her eat some of those. This is where mere mortals would have stopped and enjoyed their satisfying meal… but remember that gourmand thingy I’ve got going on? We got a Buffalo Chicken shredder bowl too. We shared, it was very tasty, nice amount of spice. I’ll explore more of the Shredder Bowls on future visits. I’m thinking the Thai and Cheeseburger ones look really good(at least until they are in front of me and I look around…) It was early Sunday afternoon on a gorgeous day, we sat outside and the people watching was fantastic! We had good fun and decent food.

Good breakfast spot. Food is always good and the staff are always supper friendly. It’s owned by the same people who own Green Lemon so the menu is in te same style(lots of options with a plethora of“bowls”). Can definitely find yourself waiting for a table for Saturday/Sunday brunch, as it’s not the biggest restaurant. Definitely try a milkshake when you go… Decadent but worth it. Not a huge fan of their lunch/dinner options, but it is good for a quick lunch/dinner if you need it.
