Best margaritas I have ever had! The perfect amount of ingredients. Also, the best tacos I have ever had. I just switched to ordering them with Bibb lettuce cups and I actually enjoy them more! The American with ground beef, the new one with buffalo cauliflower, and the shredded pork are my top 3! The service is always awesome. This place is my favorite casual restaurant on Soho.

This place is definitely a must try, at least once. We went while on vacation visiting my sister. I ordered fajitas for me, and quesadillas with fries for my little guys. When eating out, I have a lot of questions/requests about how food is prepared and leaving out unnecessary ingredients like the extra sodium, especially for my kids. The server was wonderful and she was able to answer my questions. The kitchen also prepared the food for us perfectly. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that everything is natural. They don’t use a lot of processed ingredients with preservatives… leaving out all the extra unnecessary junk and just using the real food. This is awesome. If I lived in Tampa, I would be a regular here for sure. The restaurant is clean, has friendly staff, but is a bit loud for the little ones. We enjoyed our dining experience and will be back!

If you like the Ciccio’s group and you’re craving Mexican flavors, this is the place to go! Bowls, tacos and guac. I’m happy! This has the same menu format of many of the Ciccio’s restaurants and they know what they’re doing! Fun vibes! Good for lunch or late night!

Delicious! I dream of this place sometimes it’s so good!!! Great prices and the margaritas are on point! Week days are very quiet and perfect for a lunch date with friends but the nightlife can be busy so grab a drink from the bar while you wait

The atmosphere was really fun and entertaining. I went on a Saturday afternoon and they had a guitarist that played very beautifully. I ordered the $ 5 Bloody Mary and it was made to order table side. Very cool. I also ordered the Chicken de Janeiro bowl and absolutely loved it. It was simple and tasteful. The service was great in the beginning of lunch, but trailed off towards the end.

Stopped in for the first time around 4 pm on a Saturday after a recommendation from our friends. There were plenty of open booths however we waited about 10 minutes, not really sure why. Ordered the loco nachos and 3 street tacos. The nachos were pretty good but I would not spend the extra money on added chicken as it was cut into large strips and made it hard to eat the nachos, also didn’t like the flavor of the chicken itself. Maybe opt for the ground beef instead. My husband’s favorite taco was carnitas, he insisted I take at least one bite and it was really good! Our friends had mentioned that they received a free dessert during their first visit and were told every first timer gets one. Although we were asked if it was our first visit we were never offered dessert. Overall not a bad experience but not a great one, hence 3 stars.

These were THEBEST tacos we’ve had. My husband lived in California for a while and he said they were the best he’s had since he lived there. Service was super friendly, we’ll be back for SURE the next time we’re in town!

I love going to the green lemon! It is a modern take on mexican cuisine, so an americanized version of mexican food. There guacamole, salsa, and queso are very good! I love to get the trio dip. The times I have been there I have ordered different types of tacos, and while they were very tasty, none of them are memorible. I am just crazy about the dip which is why I love going there. The atmosphere is also very nice, with great décor. The times that I have been there the place is packed and you have to wait a little while for a seat. They have a cool system when they text you when your seat is ready, which is different than the method of most other resteraunts. I have had their sangria a couple times and it is good as well. The service is pretty good as well, but I felt as if our waitress paid less attention to us when we didnt order a lot of food, resulting in our bill being low, which is understandable. Great place to go for a relaxing lunch or dinner!

This was my first time here and I enjoyed my experience. The first thing I liked about it was the parking lot across the street because it’s very hard to find parking in south Tampa on a Saturday night! I also enjoyed their menu it was mixed with healthy options to full blown cheats. My friend Kristina said she had come here before while dieting for a show and they were flexible. She was able to say how many oz and cups of protein and vegetables she needed for her diet. It’s nice they cater to people like that. I ordered their avocado fries as an appetizer(low carb friendly lol) and they were very good. I appreciated the fact that they were not greasy. My friends ordered the plantains and again good and not greasy. It’s easy to take the easy way out and just make things like that greasy but this one wasn’t. They have a great menu so it was hard to pick what to get. We came toward the end of happy hour so we still could utilize their 3 for 8 tacos. My boyfriend got the mahi fish tacos and liked them. However remember they are small so if your hungry or a big eater go with the bowls. The bowls all sounded amazing. I kind of closed my eyes and pointed at one because I couldn’t pick. I got the fajita bowl with chicken. Again these bowls are customizable according to your wants if needed. I hate how restaurants don’t let you make changes it makes me think the food is pre made and not fresh when they are so anal about not changing what is listed… anyway I digress lol bottom of the line the bowl was amazing and filling. Lots of flavor. I would like to come back on taco Tuesday and load up on their tacos because it looked like just as many different flavors as the bowls. I also noticed you can get bib lettuce instead of a tortilla again very diet friendly. I am always looking for places I can eat healthy and still eat out. Our waitress was attentive and our food came out timely. I liked the music as well. I love cicco group restaurants, and they all have very unique things about them. Can’t go wrong with one of their spots. I have tried three so far fresh kitchen, daily eats, and green lemon all 5 star places.

HELLOTACOTUESDAY! The tacos here are some of my favorites! So fresh! They stay open pretty late, so it’s also a great alternative to that snack after hitting the soho strip. Late night can be quite loud, I prefer happy hour with their relish margaritas!

I’ve been to this place multiple times before. I usually only come at night. They have great giant margaritas and tacos Tuesday’s are good. It gets a bit crowded though, and However, my review today is to focus on brunch! I was originally going to a different place but did not want to wait 45 minutes. Instead I decided on green lemon. I didn’t expect them to have a brunch menu! The food is typically priced from brunch food, $ 8 – 11. It is a taco place so they had their twist on classic breakfast. The service was very quick. They even let my boyfriend get a non brunch item. I decided to go simple and just have cheese grits and eggs. I’m very picky but it was seasoned just right and even had green chills in it. The best part was if was only 3 dollars since it was considered a side item.

I visited Green Lemon today for Saturday Brunch with 3 friends. We arrived around 10AM and had no wait. We were originally going next-door to Daily Eats but there was a 45 minute wait for brunch. The menu at Green Lemon offered classic brunch items with a Mexican twist and a full lunch menu. I typically do not order a classic breakfast but today I was in the mood for eggs over easy with sausage, home fries and toast. My eggs were cooked to perfection just the way that I like over easy eggs with runny yolks. The home fries were soggy and a bit of a letdown. For drink offerings they have a large selection of craft beer and $ 5 mimosas and bloody Mary’s. The only reason I didn’t give this restaurant five stars was because of how long it took for the food to arrive and the quality of the home fries.

I ordered the loco nachos with habanero beef and the trio of tacos. The nachos were some of the best I’ve ever had and it was overwhelming how big it was, but I would recommend(as a cheese lover) that they tone it down on the cheese or give you more pico de gallo and avocado to balance it all. The beef was $ 7 extra and was a decent serving. The tacos were OK. If you’ve been to any Ciccio’s, they’re pretty much the same. I ordered the tuna, nuclear chicken, and ancho chicken. The ancho chicken had the best flavor, but the chicken was dry, while the nuclear chicken had tender chicken but plain in seasoning. I received a complimentary dessert(churros with bananas foster sauce) as a first timer which I was surprised and happy about, so let them know it’s your first time(if it is). I’ll definitely come back to try something else, maybe a bowl, but I’ll definitely come back for the nachos.

This is a cool South Tampa modern Mexican food estery. An in-the-know SoTa party animal introduced me to their $ 2 taco Tuesday offerings. Try the tacos in bib lettuce wrap. Very very good. The $ 5 nachos are better at Leroy Selmon’s /Glory Days, but the massive margarita is hard to match. Definitely a bustling place. Service is generally very good and the atmosphere fun. If it’s your first visit tell them Nick S. sent you and you get a free churro banana and ice cream dessert. You’re welcome.

I have never had a bad experience at the Green Lemon, nor have I ever had a memorable experience. I’ve been coming here for quite a few years, and surprisingly today was my first stop in for their brunch. We went next door to Daily Eats but did not feel like waiting so we decided to come here. Their brunch menu is a decent size, however there really aren’t too many breakfast items on the menu. Just the usual breakfast burrito, and breakfast enchilada you would expect at a Mexican brunch. However, my table enjoyed the chosen items ordered. Our server was friendly, and we always had everything we needed. The live music this morning was awesome. I did not catch the name of the band, but we loved the covers that were played. They have table side bloody Mary’s and the best part is that the mimosas are bigger than my head! Bring on the champagne please!

I was surprisingly impressed with Lime, oh wait, Green Lemon! I was a little disappointed there was not free chips and salsa, but for 3 bucks you get bottomless chips and salsa. The salsa is spicy, maybe too spicy for the weak mouthed people, but it was perfect for me. My fiancée and her grandmother get the avacado fries and they were happy to snack on those as I mowed down almost all the chips and salsa. Perhaps it was because I missed lunch, but I really murdered those things and loved it. It is messy and I went through a lot of napkins. Next up, margaritas! They were pretty good, I have had better, but the happy hour special was decent. I big huge 28(or maybe 24, don’t hold me to 28) ounce margarita for $ 9. It needed a little more salt on the rim, but I really enjoyed the huge glass. It was not terribly difficult to drink from. I like my margarita’s a little stronger, perhaps there was just a little too much ice. Nevertheless, I was not unhappy. But what really kept me satisfied was the street tacos. Also a good deal for 3 at happy hour. I went with the the buffalo chicken, pork, and tuna. My fiancée did not like her mahi taco very much so I traded my pork. I was sad because the little taste of the pork was amazing and probably better than the mahi. I enjoyed her mahi. The ambiance inside was comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Parking can be kind of a pain, but well worth it for the yummy yummy yummy tacos! Service was good, not excellent, but it was pretty crowded. They play good music. I will surely be back, and hopefully soon!

LOVELOVELOVEGREENLEMON. One of the best Mexican-ish restaurants in the Tampa bay area. Have to warn you though, the chips are literally addictive. On Tuesdays they offer $ 2 tacos which has to be the best deal in town. However, it does get crowded and loud so don’t expect a quiet romantic dinner. The table side guacamole is so fresh and has something special to it(maybe extra garlic or spice?) I would definitely recommend it, along with the salsa and queso. all the tacos are great and I can’t pick one — they have pork, chicken, beef, fish, tuna… Anything you want!

My friend and I came here on a whim and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very casual and fun. The waitress was excellent. If you are getting a light bit to eat I highly recommend sharing the Trio Dip. Their avocado dip was AMAZING!

Delicious raspberry margarita with a sugared rim. Had real raspberries in it. Needed to be stirred but the presentation was much prettier pre-stir. Avocado fries were very good as well. Crispy without feeling like I had downed a bucket of grease. All of our food was good. Since it was our first time in, our waitress brought us churros and ice cream on the house! Delicious and such a nice surprise. Wait staff was alright but didn’t come around a lot… would probably be a fun place to go just for bar drinks and apps.

Went to the Green Lemon for brunch today with a friend. The size of their mimosas impressed me! Everywhere else they serve mimosas in a short champagne flute. Here… in a margarita glass! Bonus! They also had different flavors other than the traditional orange including pomegranate, peach, strawberry. I ordered the peach one which was made with peach purée…it was delicious! For an appetizer we had the nachos. The queso was really good but I would have liked more toppings on it. I ordered the Breakfast Buster which is essentially a burger inside a tortilla. It was really good. It has a fried egg inside made to your taste. I ordered my egg over medium and the yolk ran into the burger creating all kinds of deliciousness. The home fries that came with it were pretty good too. The service… hmm. she was attentive and checked on us regularly, kept our glasses full but she rushed away as soon as we answered her«is the food good» question not allowing us time to ask her additional questions unless we called her back. They had live music, a guy and his guitar, which added to the mood. Overall I had a really great time. It’s a great place for brunch :)
