Dash Cleaners

I am very disappointed with this establishment. A few weeks ago I dropped off some clothing and when I returned a few days later it was discovered a premium dress shirt (I believe it was a Rountree and York Gold Label from dillards) I had dropped off was ripped in shreds on the back. the clerk noticed it before I did and pointed it out to me saying it was a good thing it was discoverd before I took it home. This morning I dropped off some additional articles and I asked about the shirt. I was told the owner said I was due nothing as the shirt was ruined during the Cleaning process due to «normal wear and tear». As I am almost 60 years hold and have done business with many laundries over the years this is the first time I have heard of this.
I also dropped off a pair of slacks for mending several weeks ago and as of today they can not be located. I suppose they are lost or can not be located due to «Normal Wear and Tear» as well .
This location on Gunn and Van Dyke appears to have a good employee. This is not her fault.
After picking up my garments tomorrow I will steer clear of this establishment.
Very Poor Customer Service and no interest in Customer Retention!

Dash Cleaners is a small dry cleaner located in the Publix shopping center. They offer same day service but I believe you have to drop off early in the morning to pick up same day. Otherwise, I normally get to pick up after 5pm the following day. Always consistent with quality and customer service!

I’m editing my original review, because while I was not happy with the alterations I brought in, Dash did their due diligence to make it right. The ladies at the front desk have been very sweet and helpful, and I’m thankful for their help.
I’m still not 100% behind their alteration methods — they miss that attention to detail that’s necessary for a good tailoring job — but I am impressed by their customer service.

Dash Cleaners is a small, local franchise, and this location in Carrollwood has been providing dry cleaning, laundry, and alterations service since 1990.
Dash is located in the Publix shopping center along N. Dale Mabry Highway, in between Linebaugh Avenue and Lake Carroll Way.
They offer same-​day service and hand-​finished shirts along with alterations, dry cleaning, ironing, leather cleaning and washing.
I’m a regular, and I’ve found the customer service to be outstanding.
