Great casual fast service sandwich place. Located at International Mall but on the outside where the other eateries are at(near Brio and The Pub). They usually greet you when you walk in. The menu is pretty basic and straightforward. You have sandwiches, wraps(which contain more or less the same ingredients as the sandwiches), flat breads and salads. You can combo your meal with potato chips(or cookie) and a drink. They also have cookies and muffins. When you order, you get a transponder which buzzes when it’s time to go and pick up your order at the counter. I usually stick to the combo meal of sandwich or wrap and drink with chips. My favorite is the Chipotle Chicken Avocado sandwich or Chicken Bacon Avocado wrap — they are very similar. Another favorite is the Original 1762 sandwich which has roast beef, cheddar and horseradish sauce. The chips are their brand and you just select the one you want as you order. They have the typical soda machine and also tea. My favorite is the Earl Grey Lemonade Tea. There is plenty of seating inside with table and chairs. They also have a counter that faces the mall walkway so you can people watch while you eat. There are also table and chairs outside as well. I have been there during some peak busy times and had to wait for a table after I ordered my meal. I would definitely recommend eating here if you are in the mood for some sandwiches or wraps.

Absolutely delicious and very well priced. Myself and coworkers order 3 different sandwhiches and each of them were made exactly how we wanted them. The pineapple bbq sandwhich was absolutely amazing, will definitely order again.

The sandwiches are tasty but really small. The soups are tasty but really small. Plus they didn’t even fill the cup. This place has potential. Just need to address the portions better.

Disappointed. They claim to be «the worlds greatest hot sandwich»…which it even says on the door and on the menu. Saying that makes me more skeptical, and they shouldn’t make those claims if they haven’t really been rated that way. Anyone can claim to be the best at anything… but who said they were the best? They are probably a step up from Subway and Firehouse subs… but I have had much better sandwiches before. Also, their sandwich menu isn’t really that big, and it doesn’t have what I would consider to be the typical«hot» sandwiches. When I think of hot sandwiches I think of Reuben’s, hot pastrami, corned beef… but they don’t have any of those. If you were going to go to subway, this would be a better choice… but I wouldn’t recommend going here otherwise. Basically a typical fast food sandwich place, and nothing special about it at all.

I love a good sandwich on some good bread and Earl has pleased me. I have orders from the location in St. Pete for work before so I knew this would be a good place to get some good food. The service has always been good and I have always had a good sandwich from here. I ordered 3 sandwiches/wraps and they were so fresh and so good. The Caesar and Thai chicken wraps and the best. The wraps are never soggy and the chicken is always well seasoned. The lettuce is not wilted and always crispy. This is also the only place I can get a good bag of BBQ chips and I am really not a fan of the crunchy chips, but I love Earls. Earl also has a solid lock on desserts. The brownies and cookies are to die for. They are always so soft and delicious. I give them 5 stars, which is rare for me, but they have yet to disappoint me on any level. The service is friendly and fast. The restaurant is clean and I like that i can see where my food is being prepared. My food is always fresh and made like I like it. Keep up the good work Earl!

Despite everyone else reviews I tried this place. And man, what I got tasted really really good! And it was the perfect portion! Half sandwich and soup. I got the holiday turkey sandwich and tomato soup. It was delicious. Tasty! Can’t go wrong with stuffing turkey mayo cranberry sauce all on a hot toasted bun! Dip it in your soul and its perfection!

This dining experience at Earl of Sandwich wasn’t as good as it once was. It is not the gold wrapped sandwich of perfection anymore. First time I ate at an Earl of Sandwich was on Hilton Head island, South Carolina. It was pubby, medieval, dark and mysteriously delicious. That was my first tuna melt at Earl’s. It was made with albacore tuna and Swiss cheese, slathered on an unusual bread I never had, and still haven’t had anywhere else. I was hooked on the deliciousness of a tuna sandwich that didn’t include mayonnaise in its ingredients. Second time was in Las Vegas, Nevada. I lived there for several years and the sandwich was exactly like the Hilton Head Island sandwich. Third time was in Anaheim, California, about five years ago. That’s when the recipe changed. They started using cheap tuna fish(yes, I am an albacore tuna connoisseur). They also started adding mayonnaise, probably because it’s much cheaper than Swiss cheese. I DETEST mayonnaise. A lot. At first I thought I was imagining there was mayo in there until I picked up a menu when I left, which stated the ingredients of their tuna melt: mayo, Swiss cheese and tuna fish! Although their on line menu states they use albacore tuna, I contest that claim. At any rate, you do not heat up mayonnaise and expect good results. It just doesn’t taste good, and certainly doesn’t work with a hot tuna sandwich. They have renamed it a «tuna salad sandwich». All Earl of Sandwich sandwiches boast that they are hot sandwiches. So fast forward to today: 1) The place had a total of two customers during the dinner hour. 2) The place was dingy, dirty and had some sort of weird yellow lighting going on. It may be the wall’s paint color, I’m not sure. But it makes the place feel depressing. 3) When I used the one communal bathroom, the toilet hadn’t been flushed by the previous user and it was dirty. If there were no customers, wouldn’t that be a time for employees to make sure things are clean? At least the ONE bathroom? 4) The sandwiches were dry, made with cheap tuna with little flavor and enough mayo for me to detect it. Please go back to the no filler recipe. It works. 5) The soup my daughter ordered had black flecks of what looked like mold and the taste was horrible/sweet, old-tasting. The girl also added croutons to the soup, even though it was a to-go order. If you’re going to ask me if I want croutons and it’s a to-go order, please place them in a bag so they can be added upon eating. They were mush. I paid for the soup, my daughter didn’t eat it, and it got thrown in the garbage. That’s what truly counts. It wasn’t worth a dime. Three stars because they did make me sandwiches, the cashier was nice, and we did eat. Otherwise, skip this place and any other restaurant that has no customers. There is a valid reason why there are no customers during a dinner hour. I just told you why that is. Heed my warning, or not. Your choice. Not mine.

This place is definitely a sandwich place. Sandwich was alright but i got a broccoli and cheddar soup that was not good at all, it looked tasted and smelled gross. Id probably go back for the sandwich but never again with the soup.

I just came from earl of sandwiches and I got to say it was amazing. The food taste great. I got the Hawallan BBQ sandwich which had ham chicken and a amazing bbq sauce. I was impressed. The only thing that I saw that could have been better was the friendliness of the service. No smiles but overall great job. Will be back

Just came here for the second time and I really do love this place — I can’t get enough of the tomato soup. The chicken bacon avocado wrap is my favorite, although on this visit they put way more cucumber than avocado –_– I mean, ya might as well just call it a chicken bacon cucumber cucumber cucumber wrap. Otherwise, absolutely love this place, GREATLUNCHSPOT.

No line, was quick service. It’s a decent place to grab a quick bite especially if you don’t have time to sit down and order something like the surrounding restaurants. I would go back. I wish they had a fish sandwich of some sort though. They only had two options for the vegetarians and about 6 meat lover types

Good for what it is, a chain sandwich shop, but better than it needs to be, and very nice staff. The classic roast beef here is terrific. My wife dropped one piece of her bread on the floor, and they have her a whole extra half sandwich. Really nice.

Yeap 3 stars! Located in baystreet, next door to another great establishment, yummy Gelateria del duomo(gelato). When you walk in, you expect a greeting from your fellow cashier. Not here, I was a bit surprised. My all time favorite sandwich would be The chipotle chicken avocado. Grilled chicken, BACON, cheddar, lettuce, avocado and chipotle sauce encased in their toasted white or whole wheat bun. Oh yea, it’s awesome. I’ll be back for another one soon. Maybe today ;)

My 1000th Review! I waited too long to eat. I’d been sitting in my stylist’s chair and my tummy was getting angry with me, so that when I finally was able to get food I was grumbly and moody. I opted to head to the international mall and decided to try The Earl. I’m sad they don’t have combos, so everything turns out to be really expensive, but the food is very good. I had a bowl of soup and a buffalo chicken wrap, of which I ended up only eating half — see if there was a combo that allowed ½ a sandwich and a cup of soup, it would have been better and I wouldn’t have wasted money! Though I did end up getting a better deal on a drink, since they were out of small cups, they had to give me the big cup for the price of a small. Service was quick, the food was good, I’d give them another chance.

Easily one of my favorite places to grab lunch along Bay Street at the International Plaza in Tampa. It has a «panera feel» with its wide variety of salads, wraps, and sandwiches — but their bread for their hot sandwiches are SO good. I personally recommend the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Club with their Berry Balsamic Salad. Its the perfect place to grab a quick lunch and not feel too full during your day of shopping. The sandwich shop has always been clean every time I stop in and the staff has always been friendly. I recommend stopping by if it is on your way to give it a try!

There are two Earl of Sandwich loctions where I can always count on a positive experience: The one open 24 hours in the Palms Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas and this one at International in Tampa. Whether it was this afternoon’s tasty Pastrami Reuben or The Full Montagu and The Earl’s Club I’ve had in past visits to these two locations, the sandwich is really good. I like how Earl of Sandwich doesn’t overstuff the meat or go too overboard with toppings and condiments. Every bite has a very nice combination of ingredients that work together on bread with really soft edible texture. While I do miss the free baked potatoes this location used to offer with any sandwich or salad purchase after 5pm, the quality of the sandwiches themselves combined with the fair pricing keeps me coming in. Just wish they stayed open even later, as I often crave one of their hot sandwiches after a couple evening drinks nearby at The Pub, Brio or Bar Louie. Besides, it is a very cool name for a business and Earl of Sandwich was established well before sandwiches became«big business» with all these other places that have entered the marketplace.(Remember when Subway was a big deal? Yeah, now I cannot remember the last time I actually went to Subway.)

Some of the best sandwiches anywhere! I seek out an Earl of Sandwich restaurant anytime I travel, because I KNOW they don’t have them back home. I love the Earl’s Club, and now they have mac and cheese as a side?! What-what?! Very good mac and cheese as well!

This is one busy sandwich shop! I am sure that it is in International Plazza and Christmas is 2 weeks away doesn’ t hurt business. . It was very crowded and I expected a long & hungry wait. To my suprise and my tummy delight it was only about a 15 minute wait. They appear quite organized and keep the food and people flowing. I ordered the original and the horseradish was missing. Still a good sandwich, but not what I was expecting. Also was looking forward to the loaded baked potato. The potato looked great, but unfortunately was not hot. Oh Well, maybe not their best day. Maybe I will try them again, after the Holiday season, or not. What’s a girl to do? When the tummy speaks to you, you feed it!

I’d rather eat at another sandwich shop at the international mall. Had a tomato soup and a ham and Swiss sandwich. Maybe should of ate something else. But I really dislike the mustard sauce they used. The mustard took away from the supposed in-house roasted sandwich meat, fresh baked bread and cheese. I couldn’t taste anything but sweet and tangy mustard. The soup wasn’t anything special either. I’ve always wanted to stop in and eat here since passing by it so many times. But with so many other great options to choose from. This place doesn’t make me crazy to want and come back. prices are average and the most sandwiches range in the $ 6 area and the soups are around $ 3. By the time you add a drink your at about $ 10-$ 15 dollars for a lunch. Which in this price range would expect a more memorable meal. Would of rather went to chick fil a and saved the few bucks. Probably won’t be stopping in here again.

I finally got a chance to visit this location while on a trip to Florida! I have pretty much dreamt about this place, and so glad that I got a delectable sandwich from this establishment! This location is a bit cramped and the people working behind the counter were a bit rude, but nonetheless the food was delicious! I got the Caribbean Jerk Chicken, and loved it till the last bite. The spicy jerk sauce had a great kick to it, and went great with the chicken and subtlety of the banana peppers, and smoky red peppers. Overall, love this place, and I am sad there is no Earl of Sandwich in California! Next time I do visit, I cannot wait to try the other signature sandwiches!
