Flaming Taco

You have to try these tacos!
Thankfully they were set up at Southern Brewing when we stopped by for a few beers. I have never been as impressed with a food truck as I was with Flaming Taco! My friend and I were super hungry and decided to pretty much try everything they had to offer (don’t judge me). The chicken nachos were amazing and thinking about them now is making my mouth water a little. We also tried the Ropa Vieja Tacos and shared a street corn. The tacos were flavorful and the street corn was covered in a cheesy, buttery goodness. All of the homemade salsas on the side were terrific and the service was SUPER FAST. I can’t wait to run into flaming taco again, they 100% have stolen my food truck heart!

I was on a bike pub crawl through Seminole Heights with some friends when we rode up to Southern Brewing and Winemaking. I was quite hungry so was glad to see Flaming Taco set up outside. Um, holy cow — this is some good food.
Sarah B. and I, being the Unilocalers we are, decided to split some things so that we could sample the flavors. We got the Ropa Vieja Tacos, Chicken Nachos, and Street Corn. The taco meat almost tasted like short ribs and it melted in my mouth. The nachos were great to share. The street corn may have been my favorite though. I have a neighbor who makes street corn and I had never had it at a restaurant — it was SO SO SO good!
I frequently see that Flaming Taco is set up at Southern and I am going to make it a point to come back when they are there — my new favorite food truck!
