This place is fucking phenomenal. Im from New York, but I visit my best friend in Tampa and we come here for bingo Tuesdays. The host is hysterical, the food is really good and the drinks are fabulous. I watched straight men parade around topless, watching women shove money into their underwear for the hostess. A+ will come every time I’m in FL.

Fun place to visit. The food was very good, and service was great! I had the Hawaii Kahuna Burger with pineapple, Swiss cheese, lettuce, pickles, on sour dough. Very good. We went during the day, but this place looks like quite a show during the evening hours. It’s located in Ybor City, which reminds me of the French Quarters in New Orleans. If you’re in town near Tampa, this is a very cool place with wonderful staff to check out.

The only reason I am giving this place 4 starts is due to the entertainment, good customer service and bottomless mimosas ! Lol my friend and I went here for Sunday brunch but we didn’t eat from the buffet, buffet style food is not my forte. Anyhow the food was very very mediocre I think I had my expectations too high. I had the black bean burger, worst black bean party ever!!! So I just ate the toppings with yummy spicy sauce, the fires were not good they tasted like a cheap frozen brand I was not impressed. My friend had this chicken wrap, he said it was okay but nothing to brag about. I am very disappointed because I was expecting the food to be amazing ! Anyhow the drag show was everything !!! The next time I go back I’ll have dinner somewhere else and just finish up my night at Mary’s.

Visited on a Saturday evening. The area was preparing for a St. Patrick’s Day Parade, so the place was hopping. Huge space and we opted to sit outside on the deck next to the courtyard of sorts. Service very friendly and attentive. Fried pickles as an app. Solid. Ordered THE«SPICYMARY» Blackened seasoning, spicy Mojo hot sauce, jalapeño peppers, melted jack cheese, ranch dressing, lettuce, tomato and pickles. Medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. Huge burger with fries. $ 11 and change. We all left full and satisfied. Perfect for getting your burger fix.

Loud, lively and lots of fun would be the best way to describe a Sunday evening spent here playing Drag Queen Bingo to benefit a local charity. Arrived early enough to order food before the very entertaining rounds of bingo began. The place was pretty busy and the large tables filled with eager bingo players definitely made service a challenge for the staff but they did an admirable job of keeping up with the dining and drinking demands. The food was good and everyone at my table seemed to be equally satisfied with the selection of burgers, salads and appetizers ordered. Once the bingo fun had begun I was caught up in the frenzy of hoping for my numbers to be called but luck was not on my side that night. This is a raucous, slightly raunchy, but really fun way to spend time with a group of friends and support a good cause.

I loved the atmosphere as soon as I walked in. It’s a mix of retro, and eclectic styling. We only got appetizers, which were okay… The drinks were amazing! Loved the show, it’s obvious that the queens put effort into what they do.

What a blast! This place is awesome. If you are«open-minded» and love creative, quirky, but talented people, you need to be part of this dinner show. Food is great, service is great as well and the performers are very talented and dedicated to their performance. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation!

I reserved a table for my younger sister’s 21st birthday a few months in advance. The person who took the reservation was so nice! We had a table right by the stage and the host of the drag show made a point to go around to each table to see what everyone was celebrating(lots of bach parties, bdays and divorce parties). Our waiter(I forget his name) was amazing, efficient and personable. We never had to wait for a drink and food came out quickly. 5 stars for our server. The show was fun, I believe there were 5 performers. I will say that I wish the performers spent more time on stage than going around to the tables, but I get the reasons behind that. I live in Chicago and, compared to the drag shows here, this one was okay but nothing spectacular. Overall, great place, great people, great fun. I’d definitely recommend them for a party.

I love greasy burgers cooked medium rare topped with melty cheese, and crunchy fries. At Hamburger Mary’s, I got an average burger cooked well(despite asking for it medium rare) topped with cheese that didn’t melt and some lackluster fries that bent under the weight of some ketchup. I was unimpressed. The waiter was confused when we asked for details about the different items on the menu, and he had no clue how to describe the local and domestic beers they had on tap. I expected a little more from here because of some recommendations. In a pinch, it’ll work, but I wouldn’t recommend it over the other restaurants around the corner from this joint.

The drinks are stiff, the staff is friendly and funny, and the drag show was wonderful. Being a Pittsburgh native I’m used to some very kitschy artsy strange drag shows(hello Sharon Needles, Alaska Thunderfuck, Moon Baby, etc) at the blue moon. Floriday drag is very Pagent-y Queens. It’s interesting, it’s new to me, it’s exciting. They are truly performers. They work the whole room, they give you the full experience. The drinks are awesome, stiff and quick like your high school boyfriend fumbling for you panties in the back of his parents car. The food is good, nothing too impressive but better than standard bar fare. We got hamburgers, and they were delicious. It was my brithday along with about 10 other people and we all got brought up to the stage fed shots and made to twerk it out with one of rupaul’s drag races own, Alexis Matteo. Would definitely go back again.

Came here with a party(a going away party) with a group of 15 people and a very festive mindset. Definitely how I recommend experiencing this place. It’s fun. It’s quirky. The show’s pretty entertaining. And that’s why you should come here. Definitely not because of the food. The best way to describe the décor of Hamburger Mary’s is: it’s exactly what you would picture for a combination drag show, bar, and restaurant. Glitzy, sexual, and colorfully lit. It’s a lot of fun. The only problem with the design of the restaurant itself is that the large bar in the center gets in the way of watching the show(I’ll get into that later). Service was pretty good, considering we only had one server for our rather large group. Probably because of the size of our group, our food didn’t come out all at once. About half our table got their entrees about 10 minutes before the other half. And the waiter forgot my drink twice before letting me know they were out of the gin I had asked for. But honestly, I was mostly pleased with the service. They were happy to help us even while the show was going on, and when we had a problem with our appetizer, our server fixed it very quickly. Plus, it’s always nice when you can pretend that your server is flirting with you because he thinks your cute, and not just for a bigger tip. The food was the biggest detractor from the experience. I wasn’t expecting anything particularly great, but I was still pretty disappointed. My boyfriend and I ordered chips and guac, only to realize pretty quickly that the chips were incredibly stale. They replaced them, but the replacement chips were only a little bit less stale than the originals. Another couple that got the nachos found they were soggy and the chips were similarly stale. The burgers were similarly meh. My boyfriend and I got two burgers and both had half of each. Despite choosing two burgers that should have tasted very different by their description, I couldn’t figure out which was the one I had ordered, and which was the one he had ordered. They tasted identical. And the taste wasn’t that amazing; the burger itself tasted like the kind of cheap frozen burger you can buy a box of 100 for 30 bucks. My fries and my boyfriend’s mashed potatoes were meh. And the sweet potato fries that looked so good on my friend’s plate ended up being under-cooked and under-seasoned when I stole one. I decided not to order desert. But clearly the reason you go to Mary’s is the show and the show was pretty great. A range of great drag queens who were all great dancers and very entertaining. The problem was that every queen did pretty much the same thing: came on stage and danced there for a minute before slowly making their way around the entire restaurant over the course of about 10 minutes and then finishing back on stage. There were some jokes thrown in as well, but for the most part it was all the same show just with a different queen 4 times over. And the unfortunate thing about the placement of the bar in the middle of the restaurant meant that pretty much no matter where you sat, you couldn’t even see the queen during about half her performance, while she was on the other side of the bar. And unfortunately this whole experience ended up being pretty expensive. The show has $ 2 charge, which is advertised so that’s fine. Each of the burgers ends up being about $ 12, despite all tasting like maybe $ 6. The drinks are definitely where they sticker you. And be aware: at the bottom of the bill, they tell you much gratuity is at certain %‘s(like many restaurants do nowadays), but they do this even if they already added a 15% gratuity for a large group. If you’re not paying attention, you might end up giving them the a full tip on top of the automatic 15%. Definitely an experience, definitely suggest going here at least once if you live in Tampa and don’t get offended by the idea of men dressed as women shaking it on stage and in your face. But once the novelty wore off I don’t think it’s likely I’d return.

Let’s face it, you don’t go here because of the food. You go for the camp. I have been here twice, both times for drag queen bingo for charity. I can’t even remember the food the first time I went(it clearly wasn’t great but it also wasn’t horrible.) This week I went a second time for a different charity. I got the little princess slider and the chili. Both were good but not outstanding. I would say that if I went again, I would get the slider again or I would recommend that if you go, get a burger of some sort. Of the food of my tablemates, I would say that the salmon looked the best. The person who ordered the salmon and another friend got the sweet potato fries as part of their dinners. They were more like planks(huge!) and my friends said they were good. Happy hour prices are in effect until 7pm(right before the bingo begins) so get there a little early if you want to get some cheap drinks. Half off on wells and domestic beer. FYI Seagram’s 7 is not a well(my bad, I should have asked for the well whiskey.) The drag queen bingo is fun if you go with a group. I honestly don’t even like bingo but I have gone twice with friends to support charities and it was fun enough. A lot of people really have fun with it. Also there are some great prizes to play for and if it is a charity night, the charity usually has raffle baskets you can buy tickets for as well. I would not bring my husband to bingo because he doesn’t like bingo and would think it is stupid. However, there were a lot of guys this time I went. They were with their families/friends and they all seemed to be having a good time so it depends on the guy.

4 stars is for the entertainment fun factor of HM but not necessarily the food and drinks. First off, Drag Queen Bingo is so much fun! It’s held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s and each time Hosted by a different charity so the prizes are always different. It is $ 10 in cash to play 10 games. 3 chances to win each game. Last night I actually played $ 20 because the prizes were great. I did not win but my stepdaughters friends won 2 tickets to Busch Gardens with cut the line passes so they were thrilled. Make sure you call ahead and make reservations ahead of time as some events get really packed. Now for the food. Mine last night was good. I had the hummus wrap with chicken and sweet potato fries on the side. The fries could have been hotter but they and the wrap were tasty. The mixed drinks there are inconsistent! Once I ordered the Key Lime martini and it was amazing. Then the following visit it wasn’t even close. Management should make sure each bartender knows the recipe and makes it the same even when slammed. Our waiter offered to get me a shot of peppermint schnapps since I was cold and wanted a coffee drink(they didn’t have any) The coffee was barely luke warm and he came back saying they were out of peppermint schnapps. He asked if I would like Rumplemans or Goldschlager instead for no upcharge. I didnt realize Goldschlager was cinnamon and not peppermint so not what I really wanted. They should offer coffee and hot chocolate drinks. Overall a fun night

We went to a Saturday 5:30pm show and although we called ahead, they sat us behind a post. With several open seats. Our appetizer took forever to come out, and was disappointingly small for something with«loaded» in the title. The ladies never walked by us as they toured around, so we didn’t get any pictures and the only time I was able to tip one of them was when I went out of my way to go up to her, and she didn’t stay long. I’m glad they had a low-carb burger since I don’t eat wheat, and it wasn’t bad. My friend was disappointed with her margarita and said she wouldn’t get one again. The show was so short I could hardly believe it and I don’t want to know how much money we had to spend to go there. Hopefully this was an off night.

I really want to love this place. I’m really trying! But they let me down time and time again. The first time I came(years ago) they served me a mimosa with a fly inside. Then proceeded to dump it out and serve another– in the same glass without cleaning it. Kinda gross, and I’m not picky but geez… get it together. This morning I returned completely hungover and in need of a pick-me-up. I walked in at the exact same time as the host, and they should have been open and ready but were lagging behind. The bartender took a few minutes just to greet us, and came back and forth between the bar and the back room before taking our order. The mimosa was great! A bit too much ice, but it was okay. One couple sat at a booth and waited impatiently to be attended. A transgender woman who worked there(not sure what her name was) was told by a worker that they were asking for her, which she responded to by rolling her eyes and saying«Of course they are!» Wow… just wow, sorry they asked you to do your job. Needless to say the couple got up and walked out, clearly tired of their inability to serve. A guy from the back ran up to the bar and exclaimed«I’m so hungover today, I need something to take it away!» which… I’m not judging because I was in the same exact predicament, but I was not working. Very unprofessional for him to have said that in front of us and he was clearly not in any state to be working. The bartender then served him a drink. Ridiculous! This place has plenty of potential, but their staff needs help. The entertainment also needs to be upgraded because they are lacking in what other Hamburger Marys across the country are bringing to the table.

I was with a group of 8 or so people to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and she chose Hamburger Mary’s as the starting point. We had a 7pm reservation and all made it on time. Unfortunately our group was told in advance that we had seats near the stage, but when we were seated this wasted the case. We were actually the closest table to the restaurant’s entrance. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it did mean missing out on some of the performances since a large pole was blocking most of our table’s view of the stage. We had a great server, and though it was a packed house, our drink and food orders came out pretty quickly. A power surge in the kitchen cause part of our table’s order to never be placed, but when the restaurant realized what had happened, then quickly made up for it. The server and manager both apologized profusely and made sure the orders went through. It was a great time and the show was awesome. It was great that each performer goes through the entire restaurant and takes pictures and jokes with all of the tables with people celebrating special occasions.

A very fun place to go for a great burger, full bar, and great entertainment. This place tends to get LOUD as it fills with birthday and bachelorette parties every weekend. There is entertainment every night, everything from Drag Queen Bingo to a Diva show with singing and audience interaction. Most people come for the entertainment but the food is good too! They have a great burger menu, pick your protein for any burger on the menu and there are a lot of options. The service has always been great and the waiters are patient with you because they know you are watching the show too. A fun night out when you are in the party mood.

Didn’t make a reservation for the late night show on a Saturday night but we snagged a couple seats at the bar(first come, first served). Bartenders were fabulous and drag queens were oh-so-very-entertaining. We had a blast! Such lively groups of people and great music. Table and booth seating available. Make a reservation or show up 30 minutes before the show and hope to grab a seat at the bar. Bring your bills to snag pictures with the queens as they walk around! We snacked on some fries while we enjoyed the delicious drinks the bartender made for us. The fries were great and the drinks were perfection.

Came for the drag show and was not disappointed! We came for a bachelorette party and we had so much fun! The show is very high energy and I was entertained for the whole duration of it. Highly recommend for a great time! I had a lemon drop martini and it was delicious. My drink was not weak at all. I tasted my sister’s caramel apple martini and it packed a punch as well and was equally as yummy. I did not care for the food that I ordered though. I ordered the Barbra-Q Bacon Cheesburger w/seasoned fries. Food took a really long time to come out(restaurant was packed) and when it finally did arrive, it was cold. My fries were not seasoned and my burger was missing the«thick, spicy sweet western barbecue sauce» that it was supposed to come with. Our server, Victoria did a great job with drinks and clearing plates and getting our checks quickly. So besides the food, everything was awesome! MC for the show– FABULOUS! She was hilarious and definitely kept everyone entertained. All of the performers were equally as entertaining. Definitely coming back as this was a great night out.
