So I have to at least give this place 1 star as they did make it convenient to order on my way home. Too bad because I pre-ordered some wings nothing fancy but asked for extra saucey as I like sauce. So when I picked them up of coarse NO sauce and no time to have them recooked. When I got home started eating I have never thrown away wings before but there’s always a first. Instead of extra sauce I got extra grease. They were so nasty that they actually made my stomach churn. Sad as they were convenient but I’ll go the extra 5 mins and drive to Winghouse. They actually put sauce ON the wings!!!

I come here all the time. Never really had a problem here and honestly a repeat customer. Pretty good wait times and there’s always seating. I always order the hottest wings, fries and a beer. YUM! Friendly staff. I one time waited for a bartender to serve me and she forgot about me but that will not stop me from giving it 5 stars. Thank you hooters for delivering a quality product. I just don’t sit at the bar anymore I just grab a table.

Believe it or not I’ve never been to a Hooters before. I say because whenever I tell people that they look at me like I’m crazy. I didn’t understand the hype then and after going, I really don’t understand the hype. We ordered wings and beers and the wings were good. They weren’t phenomenal but they were good. I will say that wings were pretty big. Like they weren’t pitiful little wings with hardly any meat on them. I also ordered the pretzel because I’ve also heard Hooters makes a mean pretzel. It was pretty bomb but it was kinda salty. I found myself scraping the salt off to make it edible. They were pretty overstaffed and there were a lot of people just standing around. Our server was ok. She wasn’t fantastic or anything. I think the part that would make me never go back to this location was how awful the bathrooms were. Now, I really don’t understand how the women’s restroom was so gross seeing as the majority of the staff are women. In fact, I was in there and a girl walked in, initialed the bathroom log, and left. Like, this girl didn’t even touch anything in the bathroom and she damn sure didn’t wash her hands after going in there.\ Yea, I’ll pass on this.

Decided to stop in for lunch with my sister and my 1 year old son as we were craving some chicken. The staff were nice and the food was decent. The drinks were okay. I had the sweet thai chilli pepper boneless wings and we shared the loaded tater tots. I always love the tater tots and the chicken is pretty good although I feel like the prices are high for what you get. I hate the entrance and parking lot of this location and although our waitress was nice, some of the staff looked like they didn’t want to be there.

It’s Hooters, you should know what you’re gonna get. In case you haven’t been there though; greasy wings, beer, fries. The traditional wings are breaded and very very greasy, I recommend you get them«naked»(not breaded). Since they came out with their Daytona Wings, it’s what I usually order. Don’t expect awesome service though most of the girls are usually very friendly. It’s a good place to watch a game. This particular Hooters has a nice outside sitting area. I do recommend their Caramel Cheesecake(WARNING: it has walnuts though the menu doesn’t state that).

hooters is right around the corner from my house. The food is as typical as any hooters however the staff could be friendlier. I always go in for the same thing, 10pc Wings,

Met a friend there last week to go over our Breeders Cup strategy. I was hungry so I started with a bowl of New England Clam chowder. It was the worst I’ve ever had. The broth is supposed to be milky, creamy, but this broth had the consistency of the fat that coagulates along the sides of a can of Spam. It had this yellowish color to it. Disgusting. It ruined my appetite. I didn’t order any more food. I give the place 2 stars because the service was good, people were friendly and the beer was served cold in a clean mug.

Eh. Let’s get this straight. We all go to Hooter’s for tits, hot girls, beer, wings, right? I didn’t see one of the infamous Hooter’s girls in this restaurant. Girls are sub-par. More fat, with flat chest, or skinny with flat chest. Bartender looked like she should be retired by now. They do have a mean mojito, ask for double shot in it and it MIGHT, just might, distract you from the reason why you actually came here. Yes, it’s Tampa. But you guys need to up your game. even Bradenton has better girls than you guys, and Saugus up here in Boston too.

Food here is great. I love to eat wings, and hooters wings are definitely delicious. The wings I ordered here were the original style Chipotle BBQ flavor. The wings came out crisp, well coated with sauce. The size of the wings were generous, lots of meat in it. The food came out a little slow, but our server was well attentive and kept our drinks refilled. Good customer service, as she kept checking on us through the dinner. The atmosphere is probably what you would expect at a normal sport bar; lots of TVs, people enjoying their drinks, very casual. This location also has an out door patio, which is actually quite comfortable for Florida temperatures. I would recommend this place if you want wings, want to watch sports, or just hang out.

It has been a while since I have been to Hooters so had a hankering for some wings thus here we are. The staff as has always been the case was polite, courteous and attentive. The food came out very quickly and was very well prepared. The music was a little on the loud side for carrying on a conversation across the table but was a good variety of music. Great place to stop, have some wings and catch some sports on their abundance of TVs. Thanks for the great service Nicolette!

It’s been awhile since I’ve been to Hooters. I typically don’t like chain restaurants but I had company in town that wanted to eat somewhere familiar and I was craving buffalo shrimp and oysters — why not? The restaurant has been renovated and very open with outdoor seating available. Plenty of televisions which was perfect for my company who was eager for football season to start. The food took awhile to come out but when it did, it did not disappoint. The buffalo shrimp were just as a remembered them — crispy, had a nice spicy kick and needed the typical grease damper down. I could’ve eaten 10 more — minus the grease, of course. I can’t even get upset about it because it’s what I expect. The oysters were a little underwhelming but my expectations weren’t high. Service was pleasant and because it’s Hooters, the talent was up to par. I hate to say it but it hasn’t been in the past so kudos for recruitment, food and atmosphere.

It’s Hooters… Ty and I came here to make an order to go. We went to the bar to place the order then sat and had a drink while we waited. The food is good as long as you eat it as soon as you get it. Especially the fries. They seem to get cold real fast. I come here when I want some boneless wings and somewhere to just hang out. Nothing special about it.

Waitress was very friendly and professional! The wings I had where fantastic. It’s easy to forget how excellent the wings are at Hooters as I usually don’t frequent chain restarants. But I gotta say the wings are fantastic! Read the«Hooter Saga» on the back of the menu it is hilarious!

At the time I’m writing this, there were only 30 previous posts on this Hooters location. That stuns me considering how long this store has existed and how many people who live or visit Tampa have been here at least once over the years. I’m not a regular here, or at any Hooters for that matter, but I have never really had any issues with this location and always seem to find the best service at the high top tables right next to the bar just to the right of the front door. On this most recent visit, I actually ran into an old friend who was paying his check as I was arriving and he introduced me and endorsed his lovely server. She is apparently known simply as «Q» and I would recommend her to anyone visiting this location. Absolutely adorable and flat out excellent service. There’s a country song by some woman called«Girls Lie Too» in which the lyrics mention Hooters and how men say they like the food there. Honestly, I’ve always liked the food at Hooters, so what the hell’s the problem? Sure, I acknowledge that having pretty girls around doesn’t hurt(Just like Jon Gruden says in the ads) and the menu is «bar food» that I don’t exactly want to eat on a regular basis. Hooters may have had some success making itself«family friendly» over the years to increase their market share, but I’m a damn guy and still want what the brand was originally built on: Beer, wings and girls. I don’t see anything wrong with that and this location usually delivers enough of an «old school» experience to keep me coming in a few times every year.

Had a late dinner here last night and the food and service was much better than our last experience(at a different location). Our waitress was very nice and pleasant, Kylie, and all of or food and drinks came out quickly and accurately. I would visit this location again, overall a good experience.

#170 When your co-workers offer to take you to lunch at Hooters for your birthday, you go. Been to this location several times and have never been disappointed. Seeing as how I was being treated I tried to order their Gourmet wing lunch, 10 wings with a bottle of Dom Perignon, but alas, the guys wouldn’t go for that so I settled for wings and fries. The wings were good. Not a fan of the curly fry thing. I wish Hooters would revisit this one. I got sung Happy Birthday by the crew of girls which was fun. Yes, Hooters can be spotty, agreed, but this location seems to be run soundly and has competent management and kitchen staff. Others must agree, when we left there wasn’t an empty table in the house. I do have to comment on one thing. The outside of this one has been remodeled into the presently popular modern look. You’d never know this was a Hooters if not for the sign. I personally don’t care for it because once inside it’s the same beach house, knotty pine, surfboard thing. One thing or the other please. These two styles really don’t meld together well. If they are going with the hipster look then do the inside too and dress the girls in something casually elegant. Just sayin.

Service was slow as molasses in the winter, server was a bonehead and the food was average ATBEST. Took 10 minutes to get a pitcher of Bud light. Took just shy of 40 minutes to get 20 wings. Server forgot to bring my friend’s food all together, so he had to sit and watch us eat for a while. The wings were just okay. I’ve had them a million times, but since I’ve been ordering them all over Tampa, I think I’ve come to the conclusion that Hooters just ain’t that good. Never again will I eat at this location. In fact, I might not ever eat at a Hooters again.

I have been here numerous of times before and haven’t come around of writing a review. This location they recently renovated with a larger outdoor accommodation since this place does pick up quickly on the weekends but as I am writing this review on a Monday night, it’s slow. The general number of times I’ve been here, the service has been good-considering it is a chain of young women servers. I like the«loaded tots» due to the melted cheese and chives on them, with the sour cream. The buffalo chicken sandwich with the medium sauce is my main food because it’s always a big piece of chicken with a little butter sauce with your typical-lettuce, tomato and onion. I would recommend this location to mostly anyone or a group of guys.

A group of five guys from work met up at our local Hooters for the usual evening of wings, beer, TV sports, and some laughs. I’ve visited a number of Hooters restaurants around the country, including the original Hooters over in Clearwater, so I’m very familiar with the basic concept. The waitresses at this location are friendly — some of them have that perpetual cheerleader smile and infectious perkiness — while others seem to stand off to the side of the dining room in little cliques and chat with each other rather than keeping an eye on their tables. I’ve learned to politely ask the girls at the front door to sit us in a fun section with a great server, and make a point to tip the hostess a few bucks. What the heck, I do the same thing in a fancy restaurant with the maître d’ and it works just fine, so give it a try at Hooters some time and see if it works for you. The classic menu of wings and curly fries also offers soups, salads, Hootersizers(those would be bar appetizers), shrimp, crab legs, oysters, burgers, sammies, and of course the wings which you can order as traditional, boneless, naked(without any breading), or Daytona Beach style with rubs and sauces. Order up some wings with a serving of curly fries along with celery sticks and bleu cheese, and bring on the roll of paper towels! On this particular evening our server bopped over to the table and spent a few minutes saying Hi and collecting the drink orders. We ordered two pitchers of domestic draft along with some glasses of iced tea and water, and she returned with the two pitchers and bags of ice for each one which is a nice way to keep the beer cold without watering down the flavor. She poured out a glass of beer for everyone before returning with the remaining drinks, and then stopped by to refill beers and check on the other drinks as well. We ordered a whole bunch of wings prepared a variety of different ways, along with fries, celery, spiced shrimp, and so on, and our sever got all of the orders correct, and brought everything out at the same time. The food was good, not great, but we knew what to expect. The food is mostly all-fried so take your Gas-X ahead of time and you’ll be fine. You’ll find this Hooters along Hillsborough Avenue, a few blocks west of Dale Mabry Highway. There’s a large, well-lit parking lot out back, and you have the choice of sitting outside under the covered patio, or inside in the air conditioning. I honestly think that your server will make the difference in how much you enjoy your visit, so please take my advice and ask to be seated in a section with a good server. Also, try not to be a pervy creep while you’re there. Yes the girls are pretty, but they’ve probably heard every pick-up line in the book. You’ll have a much better time if you don’t act like you’re in a strip club.
