I live in Brandon now and I still drive out of my way to come to this location because the service is fantastic! Every single person working here is friendly. The food is incredible too, the garlic herb crust is my personal favorite but definitely try other options too, nothing here has disappointed me yet! The manager needs to feel a great deal of pride about this location!

I have always been a fan of their pizza, but somebody turned me on to their subs. For a chain pizza joint there subs are phenomenal. They are calzone style subs. My favorite being the steak and cheese. Other subs are good as well. The best part is the dough they use. It’s like cheesy garlic bread. The service is always excellent and I never had to wait on a order. It is always ready when they say it is.

Always doing a bang up job here. Fast, courteous and fresh. It’s a chain, so nothing to write home about, but their Pepperoni and Cheese special is cheap and better than CiCis.

I gave it a second chance clearly explaining how I wanted my crust to be prepared. It was executed as requested. Pizza is worth a second look.

I’d say this is a 1.5 star review, definitely less than two but I’ll probably come here again… eventually. Hungry Howie’s is a staple in every town in Michigan. The pizza itself is nothing special, but the seasoned crusts are delicious and the breads are always tasty(regular, three cheese, or cajun). This location is pathetic. The sauce on the pizza tastes very canned and overly sweet. Whoever seasons the pizzas here must have an itchy trigger finger because they somehow ruined the ranch crust for me. There was so much of it that your mouth came up tasting like salt and the feeling remained and made everything unenjoyable. They also made the cajun bread prohibitive to eat — now my mouth tasted like double salt AND a raging fire. Sometimes less is more and an appropriate amount of seasoning is not a problem I’ve ever had at any other Hungry Howie’s location. I once went in to order and the counter area was a little noisy so the cashier couldn’t hear me. Not a huge deal except for the fact that the guy copped a huge snarky attitude over it. It was so offputting/uncomfortable that I sat in my car for 15 minutes until the pizza was ready. As a native Michigander, I’ll be back to Hungry Howie’s. It’s something familiar and I desperately want this place to get it right. That being said, it’ll be a while before I bother giving this location another try.

It’s your run of the mill chain style pizza. It’s not bad but its not your NY or Chicago style. It’s great after a night of drinking which must be the reason it is a staple in every college town in America.
