I usually have a good experience with this location but today was the last time I will ever order from them and unfortunately it isn’t because of a bad sandwich but due to a horrible attitude by a driver. I work in an office where the employee order all the time. Most of the time they include the tip so all I have to do is sign and move on. Today I signed and explained I didn’t know if the person that ordered the sandwich wanted to leave a tip so I didn’t. The driver named Kenny asks me if I can go ask the person, which i thought was a little tacky but explained the shift is almost over so I wasn’t going to disturb them or get them off the phone. He proceeds to tell me «it isn’t nice to bring me out here and not tip me». The attitude of this driver and his entitlement to a tip has just really gotten under my skin. I know tips help but I want Kenny to keep in mind tipping is optional not a requirement! Maybe the person that ordered the sandwich doesn’t have another 2 dollars to tip you and your poor ass attitude! We order from a lot of delivery places in this building and have never had a driver like him and hopefully will never have to encounter him and his requirements again.

Usually it’s been great. This time did an app order. Picked up and left. Was I disappointed when my sandwich had none of the adds I ordered. Usually I get the unwhich… because they do such a great job wrapping. Lettuce had the red spots all over it, it’s like I ordered heavy mayo(never), two cucumbers on it…2, no sprouts and no peppers(extras). I compared my online confirmation and the receipt. Both matched. Stinks to find these things out half way to Sun City Center.

Honestly, I’m not much of a customer of this sandwich chain. Just because they are fast, does not mean they have a better product than others. However, I have found myself in this store a couple times recently and wanted to give them due credit. Employees were friendly and my sandwiches were better than I have had at other JJ’s locations. Maybe the key is to always ask for the sliced bread, which I have forgotten to do at other stores. I like that bread and the amount of ingredients they put on It, which seems very regimented, seems to work very well. They have a sign on the back wall saying«Don’t forget the pickle.» That explains why they don’t offer pickles on any menu listing for a sandwich. However, it is an addtional charge. Modest charge, but paying extra for something like that at a sandwich shop to me is like paying for ketchup if you order fries somewhere else. Store is very busy during lunch hours, but I have had it all to myself in the evening when they are getting ready to close at 9pm. Busy or not, the attentive employees do keep the place looking clean.

This was my first and last experience at Jimmy Johns! I ordered a «Turkey Tom» and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. It was the most pathetic attempt at a turkey sub I have ever seen. The staff there couldn’t be more useless, so I just left the turkey sandwich on the counter and left. For the prices they charge you think they would be able to make a turkey sandwich! Highly disappointing!

The JJ on Kennedy seems to send one driver out with multiple orders, so it takes as long as 45 minutes to get an order. This location is SSSLLLLOOOWWW

Pouring down rain and all I want is a drive thru!!! Everything is wrapped around the building so I decide to run into Jimmy Johns and before I can finish filling my soda they have my sandwich made and ready to go. Fresh and exectly how I ordered it! The only thing is that I wish they delviered to the Rocky Pointe Dr area because I know the whole building would place orders. Way to go JJ !!! Great experience as always.

I’ve been coming to this location for about a year. Typically I hit JJs on my way to work and find that most times the number of employees outnumber the patrons. They are reliably speedy. If I waited more than 60s for a sub I’d probably pop my head behind the counter to make sure my sandwich builder was ok. Fast. Subs are adequate, chips are good and the cookies are above average.

This left me feeling like«ehhh» *imagine me waving my hand to express how«mehh» I feel about it.* I got a lean sub which is just bread and meat(turkey). Then used packets to add mayo and mustard. I like the texture of the bread but wish it was softer. It left me hungry and I ordered a second one, so I ended up shelling out more money than intended. I can’t really describe the atmosphere if there was even one. Loud music. Big gap of space like all the other reviews explained. And it was really cold. Other than that it was a typical fast food booths and tables set up. Service was good, it is just the food that left more to be desired. I won’t go out of my way to come back and there are other options in the area like a smoothie place I may check out instead of returning here.

First time experiencing JJ(Food & Dining In). It appears the goal is FAST — taking order, assembly, and sandwich delivery. Maybe that’s why the music is so loud, it keeps the employees pumped up and moving at a break neck pace. As far as the food — 1 Star. Not impressed. It’s just a basic sub like any other mediocre or sub-par sub. But I guess if your’e on the way to the hospital with your wife in labour and need a sub REALLYREALLYQUICK, it’s for you.

Went there once and won’t be back. They are so obsessed with making the sandwich fast they literally threw ingredients into the bread making a mess. They missed things I asked for and added things I didn’t ask for. Poor quality ingredients made poorly. Better than McDonalds I guess but if you want a better sub, go to Publix.

I have to say since my first experience ever at a JJ’s, the Jimmy John’s Lettuce Wrapped«Unwich» has won me over. With double the meat, you don’t miss much without the roll — well maybe just the calories and carbs. It’s very filling, fresh and tasty — that won’t leave you stuffed like a turkey at your desk the rest of the afternoon. Plus I love the crushed ice for my Cherry Coke/Diet Coke soda mix and my side of JJ’s hot pickled peppers. I wish there was one ’round here.

This is the first free-standing Jimmy John’s I’ve ever visited. The food is just what I’ve come to expect from JJ’s — wonderful bread topped with fresh meats and cheeses. I am sad to see JJ’s go the way of so many other sandwich shops in eliminating sprouts. The staff member I spoke with said there have been too many problems with recalls and that too much product was being lost during the cleaning process(sprouts are very hard to clean for public foodservice). This makes my favorite sandwiches here(anything turkey with sprouts) a little less amazing but still, JJ’s always provides a great tasting sandwich for a good price. This location is unusual for sheer amount of space available inside — maybe a bit too much space. The booths and tables are tucked away against the walls, leaving a TON of space in the middle of the floor. Still, nice, clean interior and quieter than I anticipated for being essentially a large box. Also LOVE the private lot behind the store. Kennedy is a nightmare when places have small lots right next to the road and getting in and out here was a breeze.

This review is for this particular location, and I gave this review 2 stars simply because I have had good experiences at other JJ locations. After calling in for delivery, I now know one thing for certain– I will never be able to place an order for delivery because not a single person in the store knew their coverage. They even tried to suggest me calling a non-existant store on South Dale Mabry, when I know what locations we have in South Tampa. They gave me the non-existant store’s number and it ended up being the South Howard location, which I already told her about and mentioned they didn’t come down to my area(on Westshore near Green Iguana). It got a little worse: the girl suggested I call the North Dale Mabry store… above I-275. A JJ shop about 10 minutes FURTHER away than the one I was speaking with. So I guess if I want JJ’s(which I am less inclined to), then I will need to drive to the location. Oh well.
