So, I popped in on a bit of a cynical whim… Just to try the sandwich. It was AMAZING. Loaded with roast pork. If u like authentic, non mainstream places. Open ur mind and give this place a try. It’s a GEM!

Its true. The best cuban sandwich I have tasted so far in Tampa. The young lady is very friendly. I will come back.

Located just south of the river bridge, and very inconspicuous, this humble café offers all 3 meals. The lunch i sampled was from cafeteria-​style selections of 6 entrees/​meats including beef, chicken, pork, liver, and 2 sides from variations of rice, beans, plantains. Portion was generous and prices reasonably. I got it to go but there are several tables for dine-​in. Not at all fancy, but substantial and tasty, with the chicken fricase sauce very savory.
Worth trying for some basic cuban/​latin dishes with daily specials and cubans made to order. (I’ll take a cuban with no communism)
