Terrible service, which was a shame because this place has such potential. Went here on a Friday night but due to bad weather that night or some other reason the restaurant was not very busy and there were several empty tables. We ordered the sampler which did not come out for 30 minutes and probably would not have come out at all if we didn’t ask our server about it. While we were waiting we saw someone bring one out of the kitchen like it was made by mistake and give it to a table next to us! We waited over an hour for our meals, asked how much longer they might be and were given a less than reassuring response from the owner and waiter. Pretty sure they hadn’t even started cooking our meals at that point. The owner just kept blaming it on the long cook time of the burgers saying they take at least 15 – 20 mins and refused to acknowledge that we had been waiting 3x longer than that. I have been a waitress before and understand that the kitchen can take a long time for whatever reason. I probably would have kept waiting for the food without saying anything if our server or the owner made ANY effort to keep our DRINKS coming!!! Half the people at our table were drinking bud light bottles that take 2 seconds to grab but they had to sit there 30 mins between beers. I don’t know where our server was most of the time so I guess he could have been busy in the back but the owner just sat at the bar taking no notice that someone joined our party and sat there for 30 mins without anyone taking his drink order ATALL or that the rest of our glasses were empty almost the whole time we were there. We were just having beers, not intricate mixed drinks that take time to make. There is no excuse for this awful service on our drinks. Didn’t get to taste our meals but the appetizer was actually really good. Regardless, service was so bad I won’t be back.

I bought a creative loafing voucher for this place a little while ago and my wife and I were very excited to try it. Despite its 3.5 stars my wife and I hadn’t had a poor dining experience at any of the newer restaurants in seminole heights yet and thought we’d give it a try. I made our reservations at the beginning of the month(July) for the 24th and received an email response from the owners confirming it. Upon arriving and walking in we were greeted by the bartender who said he couldn’t find our reservation but could put some tables together for us. As he was getting ready to show us to a table I asked him if there was any additional parking, as their lot was full, to which he simply said no and handed us off to another gentleman working there who took us to our table. I wish this gentleman(didn’t catch his name, dark hair and glasses) had been our server instead, he was quite nice. After we ordered drinks and appetizers it became clear that the bartender was also our server, which did not turn out well for us as far as service goes. We tried out the bourgeois platter appetizer, a sampling of fried deviled eggs, potatoes, and pork belly. Everything with this tasted excellent and came out timely, our party devoured it quickly and then ordered entrees. The glasses they use for soft drinks were quite small, we needed refills quite often. This in itself isn’t that bad of a problem, as long as you have an attentive server. However we were being served by the bartender, who also had a Friday night crowd to worry about at the bar, on national tequila day no less. He would occasionally bring us refills but not take our empty glasses with him when he left, which were piling up quickly. Out of the 8 in our party, 4 ordered burgers, 2 ordered chicken entrees, and two ordered the pork ragout. Our entrees took almost an hour to come out, not receiving them until well after 9. Those who ordered burgers seemed to like them, the rest of us were not as pleased. Both orders of the pork ragout were luke warm with very dry, stuck together pasta but with warm bowls; as though they’d been under a heat lamp for quite a while. Our friends weren’t particularly impressed with their chicken entrees(one marsala, one francaise) expecting more quality for the $ 17 they paid. Once we finished dinner and asked for our checks it still took 20 minutes before we had paid and were able to leave. The only thing we really enjoyed about the restaurant was the atmosphere and decorations; it was a very comfortable space. Which is good, considering we were there for 2.5 hours. I feel like an additional server on a Friday night might fix some of these problems, but it would take quite a bit more than that to get me to return.

This is an excellent restaurant. I’ve been for both brunch and dinner and have thoroughly enjoyed myself both times. The food is always excellent. I’ve had the french onion burger, the cinnamon rolls, chicken marsala, etc. I tried the Bohemian(one of their specialty drinks) last night and fell in love. The wait staff is pleasant and are good at checking in to see if you need anything. The only thing I would like to see improvement on is the speed in the kitchen. The wait to get the food can sometimes be a little lengthy.

We went to eat dinner here on a Thursday night during Restaurant Week and our food took a lot longer than it should have, especially on a week night. The craftsman style house turned restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. Although we were not satisfied with our meals. It took about 40 minutes to get out appetizer and a total of an hour and a half to get our entrée. Our entire meal time was over 2 and a half hours. I enjoyed the appetizers but our entrees, not so much. 3 out of 4 of us got the stuffed pork and the other had chicken. Two of the pork meals weren’t cooked fully and the chicken entrée was cold.

Five of my friends and myself made reservations for restaurant week at the Bourgeoius Pig. When we arrived we were told our reservation was an hour and half earlier which was impossible considering some of us were still working at that time. We were told we could be sat in 45 minutes. An hour and a half later we were still sitting at the bar. Finally, we were sat as the restaurant began to clear out. We sat without waters or the drinks we ordered from the bar. The appetizer samplers were delivered to only four of us and it was obvious they sat under heat lamps for the past hour. Twenty minutes later the other two samplers were delivered and were fresh and looked/tasted completely different. Our entrees were delivered approximately 40 minutes later and were inconsistently cooked. My pork chop was well done and another friend’s was medium rare. We sat there obviously dissatisfied as we waited for our desserts that we did not receive while waiting an additional 30 minutes. We then declined dessert and asked for our checks. As we were waiting for our checks, the owner came over and told us that we were being watched by her cameras and she could hear everything we were saying. We were privately discussing our lack of satisfaction and I guess it was over heard by her or a server. I was appalled that instead of attempting to make our experience better, she came over literally threatening us and also invading our privacy by supposedly listening in and recording our conversations. I have never experienced anything like that while dining and would never consider going back.

I need to get back to this place for a full sit-down meal. I keep hearing mixed reviews but both times I’ve been I’ve loved the food. The first time I went however, was a Unilocal event, the second time my friend and I just sat at the bar ordering cocktails and small bites — All of which were fabulous. They are very inventive with their drinks and these guys KNOW how to do Pork. My normal side-kick eats Kosher so I’m not so sure he’d be a fan of this place — however if you have no fear of condemnation from above for eating pork — THISISTHEPLACEFORYOU. Go and be sinful you devils :) As far as appetizers, I’ve had the fried devil eggs on two occasions and loved them. The CIDERGLAZEDPORKBELLY, shut the front door. Entrees, the pork ragout is a huge standout for me because of it’s uniqueness — pork and pasta? Who knew! Dessert — the banana caramel bread pudding, stop it, it should be illegal. Hopefully I can get back here soon and update my review with more useful info.

Went back on a whim hoping things had improved. How is it possible they have gotten worse? Anything that made the unique has been destroyed. The food, cocktails even service is just awful. You think owners would make an effort to smile and be friendly. High hopes for this place. The inability to fill it and common theme of poor ratings does not provide a solid future. Maybe the owners should admit they don’t know what they are doing and move on.

We had read about this restaurant on a blog some time ago and decided to try it for my birthday dinner. We ordered the sampler appetizer, which was very good, but were unable to try the deviled eggs due to availability. They subbed the olivade instead, which was excellent. For our dinners, we tried the pork ragout and better cheddar burger, both of which were great. The cocktails were also very tasty, too, including the Bohemian, which was refreshing out on the patio during a summer afternoon. Best of all, they are pet friendly, and treated our pup very well. A definite winner and we will be back to try another meal!

I ate here a few month ago for dinner and had a great experience. However, I visited for brunch a few days ago and it seemed like a completely different place. First, we waited over 30 minutes for steak and eggs and a hamburger(burger good but fries were burnt). There seemed to be a lot of disfunction in the kitchen and the waiters seemed embarrassed. I could hear yelling and dishes slamming around the entire time. I actually felt bad and still left the guy a nice tip. I really want this place to succeed because it has such potential and thats why im writing this review. It really seems like the owners do not know how to run a restaurant and need a manager with experience and someone to run the kitchen. Also, post correct hours of operation and put together a more focused brunch menu(less options).

Bland: I wanted to like this place. I live in Seminole Heights and I enjoy the options of the heights and the reputation of outstanding food. I saw them at the taste of Seminole Heights and was awaiting their arrival. Bourgeois Pig doesn’t live up to the hype. Luckily it’s actually located in Sulfur Springs… so I consider it a red headed step child. I Love the expansion and renovation of the old bungalow! With that one positive out of the way I would consider parking to be an issue when the guest start rolling in. I did not have trouble finding a spot since I had arrived a little after 5pm. My awful experience started at the host stand. We entered through the bar entrance, the bar theme was nice and very«Seminole heights» and eclectic. We went through the empty dining room and stopped at the host stand for to be seated.(My review is a bit late-we visited back in January) We were greeted normally and asked if we had a reservation. We replied No, and I was giving the loudest lip smack, tisk from a host I had ever experienced. Mind you, The website doesn’t say reservations only and I was applauded by her response since the dining room was empty, all the guest were at the bar. She asked if we could sit outside I said«inside, it’s too cold outside»(seriously this was January). I received another«displeased face» I am a first time guest… I am not trying to act like I own this place. Come on woman be a little friendly. Either way I wouldn’t let that ruin my appetite. We were seated at a two top by the bar the seats were comfortable and everyone was enjoying their post work cocktails! My husband and I looked over the menu and we choose the deviled eggs and goat cheese for appetizers. I don’t eat meat so I ordered a pear & blue cheese salad since that had seemed like my only option. The spatzel was the one dish I was interested in so I asked the waitress what it was she said chicken. My husband ordered a steak. They ended up being out of the steak so he ordered the spatelz dish. The food began to arrive and so did the disappointments. The deviled eggs were an interesting concept since they were fried however the Yolk lacked flavor and salt.(It was very sweet for another server to glance at what we were eating and to bring salt over because«she believed it always needed salt.» We never asked for salt, but it does say something about the food when a random server delivers an ingredient desperately needed in a dish). Moving on to the goat cheese spread… The presentation was nice the portion size was decent but the flavor tasted like cream cheese. Where was the pizzazz? Mid appetizers was when our waitress had come over to inform my husband that the steak was not available and to quest a second choice. Our dinners arrived in a timely fashion. My husband spatzel looked so delicious. My salad at $ 12 was the worst of the whole meal. 3 – 42 mm sliced fruit and a thimble portion of blue cheese topped on tumble weed greens. There was a little bit of spring mixes but the salad was air! I had not eaten much that day to save room for my excitement to try this place. My husband kindly offered me his meal and I declined since it had chicken(as per the waitresses description) he said no it doesn’t.(I was like are you kidding me that the first dish that sounded good to me.) I wouldn’t have ordered such a lame salad. He gave me a few bites. It was good but could have used some pepper and herbs/spice. It turned out to be cheese, noodles, and onions. Not too shabby but I wouldn’t leave with a desire to have it again. We left after an hour to an hour and a half after we entered. We had to book it downtown for a comedy show. Still STARVED throughout the ride and show my husband and I decided we would go to fodder & shine post show! Finally a perfect meal!!! I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I tell them to try it if their foodies but there are many superior options around the heights. I read in CL or the TBT a couple weeks ago that the Bourgeois Pig had lost their opening chef. In the future months when the menu has changed I’ll give them a second try.

4 of us went tonight. It’s in a super bad area, but the restaurant itself is really cool – small, unassuming exterior and beautiful, eclectic interior. If you are driving and double check that your doors are locked then you’re in the right place. Deviled eggs: OMG! I read a bad review here, that they are soggy, but they are NOT. They are so, so good. Hard boiled eggs, cut in half and ‘deep fried’(but also light, not a heavy crust) and topped with some sort of spicy may/mustard/hot sauce swirl. Pork belly: MMMM! Not sure what I was expecting, probably something that more resembled bacon. This almost looked like small chunks of white fish — it was so delicious and pork-y/bacony tasting. Just get it. Osso Buco: VERY rich and delicious! Our table tried the Stroganoff, the Lamb Osso Buco and the Coq Au Vin chicken. All delicious, but they all come with a side of squash. The lamb was buttery and delicious and came with a tasty cornmeal ‘patty’, the chicken was chicken but came with DELICIOUS potatoes, I didn’t taste the stroganoff but the person who ordered it loved it! For dessert, we tried the the pudding and the apple pie – BOTHAMAZING! but the pudding stole the show(I didn’t expect that). Service was great, atmosphere was romantic, and prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Driving up in my über this place is adorable from the outside ! A lot of character in the inside as well which leads this review to be a crying Shame. First I ordered a bohemian which looks tasty has blackberry moonshine, agave nectar, mint, and fresh lemon. However… They bring me a dark drink with Burbon(I’m allergic to bourbon long story) I say it’s the wrong drink … They say oh we ran out of moonshine so we substituted bourbon. They could have asked… ??? Ordered emerald city which is like a margarita with cucumber and basil… Was ok they forgot cucumber and was tiny piece of basil and mostly ice . I switched to the sweetwater IPA from a bottle and that was tasty and a safer bet. Appetizers… Potatas bravas. 6 tiny pieces of potatoes, pork belly 4 tiny pieces mostly fat, on under cooked carrots not good, olive tapenade decent but we had to keep requesting bread to go with it… Good thing we filled up on bread. Main course I had the pork with the noodles was very dry, soggy noodles, dried out pork. I even asked for more sauce and it did not help the situation. My friend had the veggie cosulet because they ran out of their signature coq au vin at the late dining hour of 7:30 pm. She received dried up veggies topped with a dusting of some sort of cheese. My friend tasted it and said it was the worst thing he had on his month in at least 2 months. My other friend had the fish stew, 3 tiny mussels, a way over cooked overly salted fish in middle, and 2 tiny shrimp for $ 22!!! Aye de mi. The only thing that even looked somewhat appetizing was the stroganoff but was cold and not worth the money. It’s no wonder why their first chef walked out. I love the atmosphere, bar, character, and the potential they need to step up the food big time to compete with all of the fantastic restaurants that keep opening up nearby.

Utterly disappointing. I really, really, really wanted to like this place. I ordered the pork belly appetizer. It looked good in the pic on someone’s review. Usually pork belly melts in your mouth(in my experience anyway). This pork belly was served in very large pieces. My butter knife had a lot of trouble cutting through the fat. That was some indication. The ratio of fat to meat was off in my opinion. There was very very little meat and an overwhelming amount of fat. Which okay I know pork belly is all about the fat. But I couldn’t even chew it. It didn’t melt away. I chewed and chewed and it just would not break down. I am embarrassed to say I had to leave it on my plate. I wanted to be fair so I tried another bite with less fat. Same thing. The waiter came by and noticed I had pushed my plate to the other side of the table. He asked me if I didn’t like it. He took it away. I ordered the pork ragout. Someone from the kitchen came out to ask why I didn’t like it. They seemed genuine. The pork ragout came. It was very unremarkable. I wasn’t impressed at all. The sauce was eh and the pork was dry. I took over half of it to go. I honestly don’t know why.

All I could say on the way home last night was… WOW. I feel like a bit of a latecomer to this party as I’ve already heard amazing things from so many people. Because of this, I was so excited to come in and eat. We had a party of 4 and we arrived a little early, so I was pleased to see seats at a beautiful bar as well as, a free retro arcade game table with about every nostalgic video game from back in the day. We played Frogger and tried some drinks. I wasn’t impressed with my drink. I think it was called Over the Stars and at $ 12, I got a half-full martini glass with a very sour concoction and a sprig of thyme. It really wasn’t my thing, so I reverted back to my usual, vodka and soda. And, at just $ 5, I was back where I belong. We were seated quickly and immediately ordered the pork belly and the potato bravas appetizer. Both came out within 10 minutes and both wowed the whole table. I mean, how fancy can you make some little potatoes? Apparently pretty damn fancy because they were served sliced in half, roasted crispy on the outside and served with a pimento sauce and garlic herb aioli. The pork belly stole the show, though. It wasn’t overly fatty like some other pork belly dishes I’ve had and the cider reduction complimented it perfectly. I ordered the already-legendary Beef Stroganoff for my entrée. My girlfriend was planning on getting the Coq A Vin, but they were out. She then chose the Osso Buco, but they were out of that, too. So, she went with the Pork Ragout. That was very serendipitous for me, as I really wanted to try that dish. Our friends ordered the Spaetzle and the Bourbon Pepper Steak. My Stroganoff took center stage out of the other entrees because it looks like a Fred Flinstone inspired dish with two huge beef ribs crossed over papparadelle noodles and covered with probably the best stroganoff sauce I’ve ever had. It was perfectly balanced with mushroom, sour cream and beefyness. The pork ragout was delicious. It was very rich and had a strong pork flavor throughout the dish. The noodles were cooked perfectly and soaked up all the awesome bolognese-like pork ragout. I was most surprised by the Spaetzle, though. It’s vegetarian and seemed like an upgraded mac n cheese, but it was so much more. The onion flavor permeated every bite and it went so well with the gruyère cheese. Now, I’m not much of a dessert person and I rarely have room anyway, but when I saw Coconut Bread Pudding with Rum Flamed Bananas… I didn’t hesitate. I’m not exaggerating when I say that this was probably the best dessert I can remember ever having. And, I’m pretty sure I’ve never moaned while eating anything, but this was insane. It was like a Bananas Fosters on steroids and crack. The bread pudding soaked up the banana, rum and vanilla ice cream meltyness and made a single bite worth dying over. I’m still salivating while I write this review and I’m planning on going back as soon as this weekend. If you haven’t been, you’re missing out. It’s places like these that are not only building Seminole Height’s reputation, but Tampa’s as a whole. The owners are very passionate people and make sure you see them while you’re there. You’ll see by talking to them why passion is the number one requirement for any successful restaurant, and these owners have it in spades.

Because of my work schedule I was not able to attend and enjoy the special Unilocal event at Bourgeois Pig, but vowed to return at my earliest possible opportunity to enjoy some of their very delicious food that my friends had raved about. Bourgeois Pig is a new trendy restaurant located in a refurbished two-story bungalow in the hip and happening neighborhood of Seminole Heights. Owners Lysa and Michael Bozel, literally rebuilt and decorated this space to create a visually-stunning restaurant. The first thing you notice from the street is a spectacular custom-made metal sculpture which serves as the roadside marquee announcing that you’ve found the Bourgeois Pig along Nebraska Avenue, just south of the Hillsborough River. Parking is limited around this two-story blue house, but it is ok to park on the neighborhood side streets. As you approach the restaurant, you’ll see a covered wrap-around deck where people are encouraged to bring their dogs and enjoy an al fresco dining experience. Inside the front door is a small parlor where you’ll be treated to some beautiful artwork as you wait your turn to step up to the hostess station. The day that we were there, Michael was working the front desk and he quickly seated us at one of their rustic wooden tables, and spent a moment proudly talking about the new restaurant. His wife, Lysa was circling the dining room, and before long we had the opportunity to say Hi to her as well. The floors are the original hardwood, and the decorations on the walls are lovely European paintings and sculptures. There are even two beautiful chandeliers in the dining area. Bourgeois Pig has recently opened for lunch service, and you’re able to order many of the treats found on the dinner menu. I know that my Unilocal friends had raved about the deviled eggs and the olivade spread, but I’ll save those for my next visit. Instead I ordered their Hearts of Romaine Salad served with toasted crostini, hand-shaved Parmesan cheese, fried white anchovies, and a citrus vinaigrette. That was a light and very delicious salad. For my main course I really enjoyed the Pork Ragout which had slow roasted pork in a roasted garlic tomato sauce over papparadelle pasta and topped with ricotta cheese. My gosh this was so very delicious, and also quite filling. There are many other tasty options for lunch and dinner including Coq a Vin, Bourbon Pepper Steak, Lamb Osso Buco, Beef Stroganoff, and a terrific French Seafood Stew. If you prefer lighter, you’ll find burgers, a house-special Sloppy Joe, and more soups and salad options. The menu options are very creative and quite delicious. After your meal, make sure that you walk back and check out their cocktail bar known as ‘Oz’ which is a play on their last names(Bozel). The Oz bar tells the story of Dorothy, Toto, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion, and all of the characters from the Wizard of Oz. The bar has murals painted on the surface of the bar which depicts many of the key scenes from the story. I’m very excited to have a restaurant of this quality opening up in a neighborhood near me. I’ll definitely be back to try some more great dishes.

Another bungalow turned restaurant erupts in Seminole Heights with a bohemian-chic dining room and casual seating on a pet-friendly wrap around porch. My journeys when dining in Seminole Heights, first thing that comes to mind is, hip, trendy and food forward dishes. Bourgeois pig is going in the direction of some traditional dishes with somewhat of a modern take, but leaving a core stand of simple comfort dishes. Being a frequent diner with my four legged friend I decided to dine outdoors on my first experience. I cannot go into detail of the«Oz» like experience you feel when dining inside. I scheduled a reservation and it took over a half hour to find nearby park outside their establishment. When I finally got to the hostess she marked my reservation as a no show and had no remorse to what seems as a current ongoing problem. Luckily, it was not too busy and was seated promptly despite the challenges. Started off with a couple of cocktails of their menu which resonates a speakeasy type flare. The Bohemian — Blackberry moonshine, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, mint and seltzer. This was very tart yet refreshing. The Old Fashioned — Rye, brown sugar simple syrup, cherry bitters and brule orange slice. This is really for those who want their liquor to taste like liquor with a splash of flavor and did they make it like they meant it, sip slowly. Lets dive into food — — CIDERGLAZEDPORKBELLY– Pork belly Cured and Braised in Unfiltered Apple Cider. Served with a Cider reduction and accompanied with a Tart Apple — Sweet Potato Relish. Solid starter which shows their take on pork belly braising, but I felt it lacked a base flavor despite the rest of the build. — PORKRAGOUT — Fall of the bone braised pork with garlic, sweet onion and tomato served over fresh paparadelle topped with Fresh Ricotta. Who doesn’t love an in house made pasta. The ratio of pasta to pork is wayyyyy off, a few bites in and your braised pieces of meat is gone, leaving you with a bunch of paparadelle pasta and sauce and that dollop of ricotta. –NEWWORLDCOQ A VIN –bone in dark meat chicken braised with lardon of applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms and a red wine jus. Did you mean braised or fried in bacon fat??? cause I didn’t get the braising element of it. This«New World» dish does not feel like it paid homage to the traditional before taking a modern twist when it came to technique. –Warm Apple Pie Grand Mere with house spun vanilla bean ice cream and sour mash caramel. The crust tasted very home made but the apple filling was very simple and had no over the top flavor to it. Good but safe dessert. In the end, service was great even when servers were unsure about something they would ask someone who may know, since I do come with off the beaten path questions. I briefly met the owners as they were coming in and they were… interesting… I would probably rate this place around a 3.5, but since they are new and have time to tweak out some problems like parking I give them a very generous 4. They are venturing in Tampa’s food forward mecca, bold flavors start with base flavors if you don’t have a solid base flavor on these proteins, the rest of the flavors on the dish look like cover up and not a tie in or balance to the dish. This resonated dish after dish and does not say Seminole Heights food revolution to me. I would like to try again one day when parking is figured out. Til then, I hold my snout up high off to the next great eat.

Why 5 stars? Because the Seminole Heights revival party never stops. — — — I’m so proud of what my neighborhood has become over the last 7 years since I first moved into it. Back in those days, all we had was Taco Nazo, which is what Taco Bus was known as, before it became«a thing.» Then came places like Ella’s, Independent, Mermaid Tavern, the Refinery, Southern Brewing, etc. Now, today… it’s THE neighborhood for great local businesses. And the latest addition to that is Bourgeois Pig, which I believe will be a pioneer for businesses invading the most northern corridor of the neighborhood. I’d known about their impending opening for over a year, and every time I drove by the building, I’d give it the olé’ up and down to casually monitor the progress. And now that I’ve finally been inside — what they’ve done with the place is nothing short of phenomenal, inside and out. Probably the most amazing and unique design element is the bar, which is a visual illustration of «The Wizard of Oz.» If you happen to visit when the bar isn’t too crowded, start on the right side of the bar, and make your way to the left. It’s things like that, that make me feel like I don’t possess one ounce of creativity, because I could never dream of coming up with something like that. Now… the food. I have only visited for dinner at this point, but I really liked it! I had the pork ragout, and while I enjoyed that dish, my girlfriend’s meal stole the show. She had the beef stroganoff, and my God… it was amazing. I don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve had beef stroganoff, but this was definitely the best I’ve ever had, without a doubt. The flavor of the noodles… the tenderness of the meat… and even the carrots that accompanied. Perfection on a plate. The lunch menu debuts soon, and I will definitely be back to make sure that everything is coming out ok :)

Really beautiful building both inside and out. Parking lot is small but there’s street parking as well. Nice décor inside, cozy atmosphere. You can dine indoors or outdoors on the large porch. A nice touch on the interior is that the server’s station is behind a door so you can’t hear voices or dishes clanking. Menu isn’t full-sized yet as they’ve only been open a few weeks and are doing a slow roll-out. However, lots of delicious sounding dishes and MANY gluten-free items. Handful of vegetarian items but nothing I saw was vegan. This place has a decent wine list and a full bar with cocktails plus non-Tampa craft beers and good imports. I really like that the beers they have are from elsewhere in Florida. I can get Tampa microbrews just about anywhere else in the city… but I can’t necessarily get Terrapin Moo-Hoo milk stout. I can’t necessarily find stuff from Jacksonville, Miami, or northern Florida a mile down the road at some other bar or restaurant in Seminole Heights. I dig that they’re being different. For dinner I had the Pork Ragout and he had the Lamb Osso Buco. Both were fantastic! Super tender, flavorful meat which was perfectly accented by the sauces and sides. The pork ragout is served over housemade tagliatelle(wide pasta ribbons). Yum! The Brittany Seafood Stew sounded really good as well, as did several appetizers but those will have to wait for another occasion. Food came out quite quickly… we were starving so that was great! We also received good service and the server taking care of the ladies next to us had a friendly knowledgeable server too. Can’t wait to come back! Welcome to the neighborhood, piggies!

Service was great. This place is brand new a bit quiet. Looking forward to their full menu. Right now they are open with a limited menu about 20 dishes. Full bar, valet parking, cute atmosphere, shabby chic décor. Not your average beer choices, mostly IPA and import. I’d love to see them carry some local beer, more lighting so it is easier to see from the road. The muscles with Fritz was amazing, and a big serving. Not a lot of vegetarian selections. Not your average menu, but my meat eating girl says everything is soo delicious.
