Painting with a Twist

Had such a fun night out here! I hadn’t picked up a paint brush since I was a kid, so it was surprising how well my painting turned out due to the expert instruction. I have since been to other painting instruction concepts similar to this, but this has been my favorite one.
This is a fun way to spend a girls night out or date night. You need to book your spot beforehand since the classes fill up. When you visit their site, you can see which painting they are doing for the different times, so you can plan based on what looks best to you.
Lemme sum it up with some bullet points:

+ Attentive staff that keeps your drink full
+ Awesome upbeat music playing (the Grease soundtrack made an appearance!)

This was a really great location! The staff made it the best experience. Really positive and cheerful, I like that they seemed like people who just really enjoyed their job. I loved that the bar held your bottle and she would come pour you more just when you raised your hand. I felt a little silly, like I was in high school art class again, but grown up style. I would come here again with a friend or try to drag the boyfriend. Only negative was that it wasn’t BYOW (w for wine) but other than that a it was a fun night.

This is the best PWAT I’ve been to so far, out of Orlando, Tampa, Melbourne, and Daytona. The instructors here really encouraged and praised creativity. The location is absolutely adorable and the atmosphere was amazing. Wish I lived here to come back again! Definitely coming by for another class on my next trip to Tampa/​Clearwater.

I absolutely loved this! I went with a small group on a Friday, and we painted a great picture! The instructors were super nice and fun! The bar tenders we’re awesome as well, they will walk around and refill drinks while you paint!!! We also listened to up beat music which made it fun. Overall it was a great experience, and I can’t wait to do it again!

I really feel this business is a 3.5 but will round up due to it being a small business in my neighborhood.
There was a group of 6 of us on a PACKED Friday night.
I wasn’t too thrilled with the painting of the evening, but knew I would have a good time anyway.
Beware: this location is NOT, and I repeat, NOT BYOB. Honestly it takes away from the appeal of a PWAT but I can understand and appreciate that this is an additional revenue stream for them.
Anyways, the room was packed. I’m guessing it can hold up to around 45 people. We were a little tightly crammed in there but we made it work.
The class is suppose to be from 7−9pm, but at 10pm we were just winding up. Was I upset? no, I was having a great time with my friends, but an hour over the allotted time is a bit long. Especially when you have a baby at home that you need to get home to.
Part of that might have been because the room was so full, or maybe it was due to the instructor. I know some instructors do a great job at moving the class along, while other’s need to improve upon that.
Would I go back? Absolutely. Is it a good addition to the neighborhood? I definitely think so.
