So, why should you go to PakMail to ship something FedEx when there’s a FedEx Kinkos center in the same plaza? Because of the personalized customer service.
I’ve been in here twice to ship stuff and seems like it’s just one guy who runs this place. He is very nice and helpful. A friend of mine recently moved to another state, but had to leave 2 boxes behind that didn’t fit in his car. I came here to get them shipped– except they weren’t packed well and the boxes were kinda flimsy.
The owner picked out a big box that would fit all of the contents– then helped me pack it all in… bubble wrapping all the fragile stuff and giving me some filler paper to help finish the box. He sealed it and stapled it. All of this probably took a good 30 minutes of his time.
It was a big heavy box, so he pulled up all the rates for me, and let me choose the cheapest option. The only extra thing I was charged for was the box (not the bubble wrap, tape, paper, his time, etc).
When doing a favor for a friend, it’s always a plus when it goes really smooth– and I think PakMail for making it that way!
