Duck. Duck. Chicken Tenders. I am a big fan of chicken tenders. Whether it be Wendy’s, Chick-fil-a, or the kids meal at any restaurant, chicken tenders(with the right dip) can always put a smile on my face. I first heard of PDQ from my friend, who is also a chicken tender fanatic. We came on a Wednesday during the afternoon and it was PACKED. The drive-through was crazy long and the lines inside were pretty lengthy as well. I ordered the simple three pack of chicken tenders and the order came out pretty fast. The tenders themselves weren’t all that bad, but also didn’t really scream, «BESTTENDERSEVER.» They had just the right amount of crispiness and just the right texture. What truly makes this place different from your typical chicken tenders type of joint is the sauce. PDQ offers a variety of different, and very unique dipping sauces. Everything from sweet sriracha to buffalo blue… seriously to die for. Even though I only got to try two of the sauces, I can personally vouch that you will be very happy with your visit here. Seriously, I’m probably going to stop by later this week because I’m already having a craving to try the other sauces. Besides the glorified chicken tenders, they also offer sandwiches and salads… which I guess are alright. I still say go for the tenders #teamtenders. tl;dr — Get some tender lovin’ to crave that hunger at PDQ and try all the dips you can!

I love this location food is great and instead of fries I get the toffee apples. The kids meal is a nice portion size and well worth the value. Fries are fresh cut and their garlic dipping sauce is awesome! Better than chic fil a in my opinion.

The food is always great. Order the zucchini fries, just to greasy. The rest of the meal was great. Kids meal came with apple slices. It’s a great place to eat with the family. Also the nuggets are better than the tenders, but both are great.

Me and my friend caught the employees there tampering with our food. I would encourage Everyone for your health not to attend this location. I didn’t even take the food I just asked for a refund.

Ugh… the novelty has definitely worn off with PDQ. Pure grease. I’m in the bathroom as I write this review… enough said about the food. The service, my husband asked if they included the sauces in the bag. They assured us they did. No sauces. The order took forever. Staff complaining that it was almost end of their shift. Customer behind us yells that it is taking too long. No more PDQ for us. Pretty damn queasy. Please pass the Pepto.

Last night I took the family to PDQ for dinner. The filth in the parking lot put me off somewhat but I decided to try the Resturant anyway blaming the customers for throwing their trash on the ground and the staff not having the time to clean up after the littered mess. But then the stench from the dumpster area hit our vehicle like a black fog. And then we saw rats sitting on the wall of the dumpster — kids yelling gross!!! My entire family decided to go somewhere else — somewhere clean and inviting. I judged the cleanliness of the kitchen and the food storage based on the filth outside and decided not to support this establishment

Went there for the first time yesterday and was very dissapointed. In this new age in America-where bigger and better reign supreme– PDQ has decided to go in a different route and boy does that spell doom for your quenching your hunger. They have the gall to charge 4 dollars for 3 pieces of tenders!!! The price alone would shock the enjoyment right out of you. I decided to get the chicken sandwich since it seemed like the better deal and that was a brutal mistake as well. They give you this huge cardboard box giving you the misconception that this sandwich will gill your appetite only for you to open it and realize you just ordered a 5 dollar slider… The sanwich was bland and very basic. Just the bare essentials so it could be called a sandwich without getting sued for false advertising. Chick Fil A is king and if this place thinks that it could compete then it’s kidding itself. That would be like the Cleveland Browns thinking they could compete with the New England Patriots!

Service is excellent however the food is pricey and boring, to much breading on the tenders/nuggets. Sandwich had what looked like a process Breast on it. I have never seen one like that. Fries were more grease than potatoes with a lot of them. left 8n the bottom as crumbs. I use to have a taste for this place but like the person who introduced me to them, it’s time to move on. You can get better and more for less somewhere else.

I just left this particular PDQ and I’m rather perturbed about the meal I received. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tender meal with fries along with water and ranch from the drive thru. I didn’t bother to check my meal because I’ve never encountered a problem with this location but I should have before I drove all the way home. When I got home there was no ranch in the bag and when I opened my cup to put more ice in it the water was brown! Granted I had already been drinking this«water“‘since I drove off from the restaurant. You’re telling me the person who filled my cup didn’t notice that the water was brown or did they just not care? One could only hope that it was just soda of some sort that leaked into the water and not caused by a dirty machine for mine and the other customers sakes. I should’ve taken a photo of the water but I was too far gone in shock to think to do that. I don’t appreciate spending $ 8 on chicken strips and getting brown water in return. I would like for a manager to contact me.

I ordered the 3-piece(chicken tenders) meal with creamy garlic sauce and fresh-cut fries. Plus cranapple oatmeal cookie. the tenders are so yummy and tasty. Creamy garlic sauce is so good. Cranapple oatmeal cookie is good, soft and chewy. I will try to order the sandwich someday! :)

I needed a quick dinner while waiting to hear from a friend to see if it was OK to stop by. Since this was close to their location, I popped in and ordered my usual, the crispy chicken salad add almonds, with ranch on the side, and a drink. It was ready in mere moments and I ate it at the counter. I love watching folks as they work and this team seems to work like a well oiled machine. I like PDQ and hope they branch out to my neighborhood soon.

I know there is a hype about this place, but I’m not seeing it, even after several visits. The chicken is good, but I find everything else to be mediocre at best. The tea tasted old, the fries were cold, and the list goes on. There was a female employee who kept biting her nails, talking on the phone, etc in plain view. Then, when I went to throw my food away, she basically pushes me out of the way to get her drink out of the cabinet, so that she could stand there and drink in plain view. I just found it to be very unprofessional and against health standards. I know this is fast food, but I was expecting a slightly better experience.

I really have a hard time understanding why certain places are so popular and I think sometimes when doing a review people are just being nice instead of being honest. I had a gift card so thought why not I’ll give it a shot. I’m sorry but this place is just ok at best. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich witch was ok but the fries were just horrible. I also ordered a side of their creamy garlic sauce witch they forgot to give me very annoying but the sauce wasn’t that good anyway. This place isn’t very cheap for what you get either. On the plus side the place was very clean. I will try PDQ once more but honestly it’ll probably be my last.

Not another fast food place – but they do have a drive thru. This place is like a guilty pleasure for me: I know I probably shouldn’t want it over the great restaurants in the area(and those I haven’t tried) but I DO. I don’t know what it is, exactly, that makes it so special. Taken alone, no single item is out-of-this-world, but the complete package comes together into something magical. For me, the pièce de résistance is the creamy garlic dipping sauce. On everything. Oh, and the fact that they will serve my tiny stomach the kid’s meal! Not to mention the location is perfect, atmosphere great and family-friendly, and service is stellar. If you’ve never been, you HAVE to try this place!

Light and airy type of feeling here … there chicken tenders are pretty good! they pride themselves on their quickness touting PDQ = Pretty Damn Quick ! our meal came out quick which is always a plus. they have many different type of sauces to dunk your chicken tenders as trying each one is fun in itself. if you come dont miss out on a milk shake ! they have cool seasonal specials & a few gimiks all through out the year which is always fun to track as it makes coming here a pleasure. Plus on hot days they have a mistifyer in the outside that helps cool you down !

Chicken or Turkey anything here is Great!!! Sandwiches, Salads, All made to order and fresh. Super friendly and helpful staff, Very clean restaurants. Nice beverage selection(Coke freestyle and tea). My only complaints are the Fries and Coleslaw. The fries are thin and skin on, they have a good flavor but are always soggy and cold. The Coleslaw is lite on the dressing which is good but it just has a few blueberries sprinkled on top, I wish there were more of them mixed in or even some apple slices.

I just stopped in quickly to get a milk shake on my way home. The restaurant had a bit of a wait but they were moving quickly through the tickets. I ordered the seasonal shake which contained cap n’ crunch and fresh blueberries. It was the perfect afternoon treat and really hit the spot. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

I give this place 4 stars based on quality and quickness. 3 stars for taste. I love to go to PDQ based on how clean and fast they are. I’ve tried several menu items so I have to say that the chicken is good, but not without a sauce. The salads are fresh and the house made sauces/dressings are fantastic. That being said, I’m in love with the buffalo chicken sandwich. I get the meal with fries, ranch and ketchup for dip, and I get an Arnold Palmer to drink. I don’t eat ranch on salads. I only use ranch to dip fries in with ketchup. I do this with all fries everywhere because I really don’t like fries that much. 3 places that I will order a full meal with fries: chick fil a, Wendy’s and PDQ. However the ranch is so good at pdq that I also dip my buffalo chicken sandwich in it. I love blue cheese so you would think that I’d use the blue cheese sauce, but for the first time ever I prefer the ranch on the buffalo sauce! The tea and lemonade isn’t extra sweet, so I ask them to fill my cup with half lemonade and I fill the rest with sweet tea to get my Arnold Palmer. I don’t mind sweet on either, but some joints make sweet tea and lemonade too sweet. PDQ has it right. If you’ve read any of my previous reviews you know I’m a germaphobe. So, I love the fact that there’s a place to wash hands right in the dining room. This means I don’t have to worry about touching the bathroom door after a hand wash! My kids love the meals here. My husband love the meals here. I only love my go-to meal, but that’s good enough for me to frequent the place. If you are a chick fil a lover(the chicken is tasty all by itself) then don’t order tenders on its own at PDQ or you’ll be disappointed. Definitely dress the tenders with one or two of the house made sauces.

This place must be a Tampa thang. JUSTSOYOUKNOW PDQ means People Dedicated to Quality(just in case you are as unfamiliar with this chain as I am). I suppose the best comparison to this place would be Chick-Fil-A. That being said, there’s no comparison at all. PDQ prides themselves on never frozen chicken, fresh cut french fries and fresh made dipping sauces… something one of the managers told me «is not being done in the fast food industry.» He also mentioned they were coming to Georgia soon, but I honestly don’t think this place is going to do well in Atlanta. We kinda pride ourselves on good chickeny things and the flavor here is more like a cafeteria than a dedicated chicken franchise. WHAT I DIDLIKE I really like the use of what looks like reclaimed wood in a simple, yet stylish interior. The communal sink for hand washing was also an interesting touch. The shift managers are dressed like executive chefs, but unlike a chef, they make use of a microphone loudspeaker system to call out the names of orders once they are ready for pick-up. Whereas Chick-Fil-A practically gives you table service at most locations because the staff will walk your tray to your table and often come around to refill drinks. Staff @ PDQ were friendly and everywhere I looked there was someone cleaning something, preparing something or helping someone. That was indeed a good thing. THEFOOD But if I’m going to give an honest critique beyond the hospitality and décor, the food flavor just wasn’t noteworthy. I’m no die hard Chick-Fil-A fan, but I’m gonna keep it real since many other reviews have indicated the food is better here. I did find PDQ’s chicken tenders to be EXTREMELY tender and juicy. However, I didn’t think they were particularly flavorful(and not even remotely comparable to Chick-fil-a). I’ve actually had better flavored chicken tenders at Pin Chasers bowling alley. The hand cut french fries were also no comparison to Chick-Fil-a’s waffle fries or In-N-Out’s hand cut french fries. I LOVE potatoes, yet I could have easily done without these. Another good idea that just didn’t seem to add any«quality» to our visit were the sodas. They use a self-vending system for sodas similar to the ones found at Six Flags over Georgia. One screen controls all the flavors or flavor combinations. At first we thought it was just one of the flavors that had an odd taste, so we tried another but it tasted equally as bad. We then thought it might be the weird taste of Florida water that was throwing off the soda flavors. However, after our third try with a different flavor, the problem to me seemed to be the carbonated water to syrup mix. It made everything taste like flavored tonic water. THEVERDICT Nice place, great philosophy, but not at all worthy of the hype. All the extra steps they claim to go through over similar restaurant chains is not immediately apparent to me when it comes to flavor. Sorry, that’s just my first visit perspective. I also found the steamy mist rising from the metal canopy above the doors to be really strange. Made the building seem like a theme park diner. Unilocal100[85]
