As a visitor to Tampa (I live in Orlando) I’m always excited if I get to visit Penelope T (I’m usually only able to go on Sunday’s when they’re closed) but I must say today I had some of the worst service I’ve had in a locally owned boutique in a LONG time. While their clothes are fresh and but reasonably pricey, the staff had the worst attitudes and seemed annoyed. I made it known we were in a hurry and apologized for being short but in the end, my gf and I still spent a total of over $ 5,000.00. You’d think at that point they’d be a tad nicer or offer a small discount (which always has happened when I’ve been in the past) but neither. I do hope they read this and in the future don’t judge books by their cover as my gf has tattoos and we were in work clothes. Remember: Karma, karma, karma!

Fantastic store! Their selection is unique and lovely, and the employee (owner? not sure, her name was Nikki) that assisted me was very helpful and sweet. Their jewelry is also exceptional. A very laid-back, classy store with great selection– I’ll no doubt be going back again soon.

I was on the hunt for a gift and was pleasantly surprised to find a chic boutique with a listing of superior desginer labels and up and coming brands that you won’t find at Nordstrom’s. Along with the clothes there are killer shoes and jewlery that were at good prices. The owners took the time to show me the stores merchandise and gave me some great ideas. Needless to say their style advise and helped make my better half extemely happy. Thanks Penelope T!
I suggest you stop by and see the store, I know I will next time I am in Tampa.
