Have been here MANY times. Pizza Squared does the 313 proud. Ordered wings, cheese bread and Greek Salad this time around in addition to the 8-square. — Wings were good, plenty of sauce — Cheese bread was plenty flavorful, pretty much pizza w/out the sauce — Greek salad was fine, but honestly it was too small for $ 7. Closer to a side This place has been my go to pizza place since it opened. I’ve introduced a few people to the place and they too loved it. Highly recommend!

I wanted to love this place. I gave them two chances. The first time I ordered for delivery. I ordered a pizza with all meat and garlic Parmesan wings. The pizza was pretty good! … but they gave us buffalo wings. The second time I decided well the pizza was ok let me just do a pick up and see how that goes. I ordered a supreme pie and got home and the dough was half raw. This happens when the oven isn’t hot enough to start. Since they weren’t busy at all I guess they had the oven off to save on power. And I totally get it but I would have gladly waited an extra 15 min for a cooked pizza. The owner however was very nice and seemed like a great guy. I really wanna try this place again because I did like the first pie but they need to work on a few things. I believe in this place!

Love this place! The man working was kind, had patience with me, and was very helpful! I had never had Detroit style pizza before here and its a game changer! The ingredients were fresh and they didn’t take long at all! Price was right. I highly recommend picking up some pizza from here at least once in your life! It may not be the prettiest location but diamonds are rough when raw… Hole in the wall food is always the best!

I love this place! Detroit style pizza, IMO is up there with NY pizza. Once you taste it, you will know the difference! Cheese and sauce mix is great. Do yourself a FLAVOR and try it out

We went to MOSI to see a movie, wanted to get something to eat before driving home. Exceptional pizza and wings! The restaurant is basically a takeout joint. However it was immaculate! The bathroom was so clean! Definitely worth the drive!

Summary. Flavorful and the cost per pound of food was great! Had supreme pizza and Hawaiian pizzas. Loaded with dense flavor. Messy and delicious. Lots of sauce. One piece enough for a meal. Two pieces and you’re stuffed. Three and you must be a teenager. Red sauce on the Hawaiian overwhelmed the toppings a bit, but all was good. Cheese bread was fine. Not enough sauce for the amount of bread and was unremarkable. Garlic bread was blasé. Just filler. Overall would recommend if you’re hungry and like deep dish type pizza.

This tiny little hole in the wall, bad-smelling restaurant(don’t worry, it’s clean, the plumbing in this area is just mediocre and you can smell it) sells the best pizza I’ve ever eaten. The sauce is flavorful but doesn’t leave you dragon breath, the cheese is delicious and crackles pleasingly at the very edges of the pizza, and the crust somehow manages to be soft and chewy and lightly crispy all at the same time. Even with mellow mushroom’s pizza I’m loathe to eat the crust, but you won’t ever see me leaving a single speck of this pizza uneaten. It’s satisfying without being heavy or feeling greasy, and I’m going to bankrupt myself trying to buy it every day. Though it’s reasonably priced. Also reasonably priced are its wings. Much cheaper than anywhere else nearby at less than a dollar per, still large and very tasty. I’ll never have to go to beef’s again. One word of caution: the«mild» flavor is more of a medium in my experience, so spice haters beware. All in all a delicious no-frills pizza place that I recommend to everyone. So. Good.

I placed an order online thru Eat/24. It was Easy to place the order. An estimate of an hour turned into 2+ including delivery. I know it is football season but that was unacceptable. Worse, your driver showed up surly and unresponsive to questions. I won’t be likely to order again.

If you ever get tired of «normal» pizza — round, thin, predictable — switch it up and try this place out. It’s not Chicago style deep dish, that’s another league, it’s Detroit style — a league of its own. Square, not too doughy, with perfectly melted cheese and caramelized edges all the way around. The sauce goes on last giving it another unique element. I’m really glad I finally got over here for a pick up, I’ll definitely be back.

It just doesn’t get ANY better than this pizza. No corporate crap ingredients that taste like burnt plastic and look even worse. Fresh and hot ingredients. A great crew that loves what they do, and valued pricing in a great product. This is the best pizza in the Bay Area and my number one spot for a truly great pizza pie. oH and you must try the buffalo wings. They are amazing.

TL;DR –Fun, cheesy pizza party in your mouth The only thing better than eating pizza is eating pizza with cheesy bread sticks. The only thing better than that is Pizza Squared because it tastes like you’re eating both at the same time. From the crispy edges to the gooey center, every bite of the rectangle shaped pizza was like big cheese party in my mouth. It’s twice backed The $ 15 for the 8-square pepperoni pizza was worth every penny and a welcomed change from the regular chain pizzas that I usually get. One of these bad boys can feed 2 hungry guys or a small family. Regardless, everybody will be fighting over that last piece because its that good. Plenty of deals for lunch and dinner. For right now, I’m excited knowing I still have 2 pieces waiting for me in the fridge

To be completely honest, I was very skeptical of this place after seeing the pictures. The pizza just didn’t look appetizing to me. I kept avoiding my girlfriend’s requests to try it out so she took matters into her own hands and ordered it while I was working late. We shared a 6 Square pepperoni pizza and I was really surprised by how cheesy it was. The sauce had an extra zesty taste to it that I’ve never had anywhere else, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. It was very good! I saw that they have wings so I’d love to try those. The garlic sticks were good too but nothing special compared to the pizza. I had no clue what«Detroit-style» was before this but now I’m hooked!

On a rainy evening after sitting in a doctor’s office for three hours, I was starving and not wanting to cook. I had seen Pizza Squared pop up on my Unilocal feed a few times and it was on my way home, so I decided to stop in. There were two people working and one person waiting for their order when I arrived. When you check in to the restaurant on Unilocal, you get a free can of soda so that’s a nice little bonus. Being unfamiliar with Detroit style pizza, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this pizza was! I ordered the 6 Square with pepperoni and a side of garlic sticks. The garlic sticks were just okay, but the pizza was so great! It was extra cheesy and there is extra sauce on top that is super flavorful. I loved the crisp edges and how the pepperoni was under the gooey layer of cheese. This is a very unique pizza and I will definitely be ordering from Pizza Squared again!

4 Stars because, while not a looker, this place has opened my eyes to my love of squares. Holy cow– I didn’t know Detroit Pizza was even a thing, but I’m glad that Brett(Tampa’s CM) suggested this place while I was visiting Busch Gardens. There’s little to no curb appeal, but this little spot, nestled in a strip mall, is a helluva find! We got a pepperoni square pizza. When it came I saw that this style pizza has the tomato sauce on top of the cheese and the toppings under the cheese(so– flipped!). I was a bit skeptical but then I took a bite. WUT. It was soooooo good! There were so many crusty edges and the flipped toppings were fabulous! Everyone at the table agreed that we wish this place existed in Orlando! Did the location look a bit rough? Yes. Did it smell a bit rough? Uh-huh. Did the pizza make up for it? You betcha!

Yes, the reviews on this place appear to be on point. They offer the hand tossed style and the Detroit style, being this was my first visit, I decided to try both to compare the two. The hand tossed was decent, nothing really to brag home about, it didn’t taste much different than other hand tossed pizza that I’ve had in the past. The Detroit style was a totally different story. This Pizza was pretty unique. I loved everything, from the dough, the crust, the cheese and most important, that sauce on top is just right… You add all that up, you have yourself a home run. Would stop by again for sure. Skip the hand tossed and go for the gold.

I am a New York pizza snob, but I very much enjoyed this pizza. The décor is. basic. The place was very hot. But the pizza tasted very good. It’s served up Detroit style with a flavorful tomato sauce on top along with gooey cheese on a nice square crust base that has just the right combination of crunch, doughiness and flakiness. The place itself is in a nondescript strip mall and there isn’t much in the way of decoration or ambiance, but somehow it has character and, more importantly, serves up something special. The big guy serving us was a bit intimidating, had headphones in his ears and wasn’t super friendly, but he ended up being helpful and added to the place’s charm with his own style. This is NOT a fancy place. It just serves up really good pizza that’s different and special. They also serve wings so I might have to try those next time. This is a Tampa foodie gem.
