Quality Plus Cleaners – Bay to Bay

Why did I not check the Unilocal reviews before going here? UGH. The prices are outrageously expensive, especially for alterations. The business is difficult to access in either direction as it is located at the very busy corner of MacDill and Bay to Bay so leaving the business, you basically can only get out in one direction as there is so much traffic /​so many cars stopped at the light blocking the access to the driveway. Beware of discounts not being applied correctly as the cashier does not have the ability to correct the check once it has been invoiced so it is a major hassle to wait to get it corrected. Will never return!

DO NOT GO HERE! This is by far the worst dry cleaner I have ever been to. As a working professional, I’ve been going to dry cleaners for over 10 years and I have never seen such terrible service. First it took three trips to even pick up my 8 items because the first time I went to pick up my clothes, a week after dropping them off, half of the items hadn’t been cleaned because they wanted to ask me about a snag on two zippers. Then I returned another week later to pick up my remaining items. Low and behold they forgot to give me a skirt so today I went for a third time to finally retrieve my things when they credit card machine went down. After numerous attempts on multiple cards, the woman pointed fingers at me saying that I must have no money and thats why their credit card system declined, refusing to accept a check for what was truly their system error. I will return later for the fourth and final time with cash to retrieve my, I’m sure poorly laundered skirt.

Where should I even begin? I created this Unilocal account to get the word out to absolutely DO NOT bring your clothes here. I’ve tried several of their locations and have been dissatisfied every single time. The constant rotation of the careless teenage staff who seem to completely have no training in customer service whatsoever, along with 2 damaged pieces of my clothing they were not willing to take accountability for or even compromise on, have made me decide to never go here again. So here’s the real kicker, I was in north Tampa for the day so I figured I would bring my clothes to the main plant hoping that since this was an on site deal, everything should go smoothly; well I was foolish to think that because when I arrived to get my clothes, only one item was ready and I head the teenybopper tell someone else that «her clothes are not here», then I hear the other person respond «just tell them we need more time» so the girl comes back to the window and proceeds to ramble some lie and tells me they will be ready tomorrow no questions asked. I come back the next evening and what to I find out? It’s gone. Not there, not at any other stores basically I feel like this place is a scheme, be very wary. The owner is also a creep !!!
