I just had an acai bowl for the first time from Swami Juice. Oh my goodness. First of all, all the girls that work there are adorable and seem like cool people, so solid atmosphere. Second– my monkey bowl (think that’s the name) was probably the best thing I have ever tasted. I used to make myself a smoothie bowl for breakfast and thought it was amazing. Compared to this, I’m embarrassed I ever even tried. I will be a frequent visitor.

I will preface this review by noting that I am by no means a juice expert. That said, I really enjoyed Swami Juice. I stopped into their booth at the Seminole Heights Sunday Morning Market recently. They had a good variety of juices and I chose one that had a unique blend of fruits and veggies. I really enjoyed how fresh it was and would like to try their juices again!

Swami Juice is one of my favorite locations to bring a friend who wants to experience a healthy, sweet and tasteful snack. It’s located right off of Bayshore on the cross section of Bay to Bay and McDill right next to the over pass. My favorite bowl to get here is the Acai bowl because the fruit on top is incredibly sweet, the honey is made with all natural preservatives and the blended fruit at the bottom tastes refreshing. The only downfall about this location is that it takes forever to get what you ordered! So if you ever plan on going here, make sure you give yourself plenty of time.

This is the third place that I’ve had acai bowl recently at in south Tampa. At this place the quantity is a bit smaller then fit2run or enerjuicer, but these guys offer almond butter as an optional booster, the other two don’t, and I thought the almond butter made it a huge hit. The location is clean and welcoming and the staff was nice. I’ll go here again, and may even try cleansing with their variety of juices for a day or two.

I love the Acai bowls here! I have had numerous acai bowls in different places around the country but the ones at Swami Juice are one of my favorites. I have had the classic Ah-​sigh-​ee bowl, Buzz Bowl, and Rio Bowls. I found the Ah-​sigh-​ee a little sweet for my palette but it’s definitely the one to try if it’s your first time here. The Rio Bowl is the one that reminds me the most of the acai bowls I had in Brazil. Personally, I like the Buzz bowl the best. Maybe it’s the bee pollen that makes it so addicting for me?!? I could eat the Buzz Bowl everyday and in fact I did eat it for a whole week. Haha. Bowls are $ 9.63 after tax but it’s definitely worth it!
I really wish I could give it 5 stars but I have to take of 0.5 stars off secondary to its location and lack of parking when it gets busy.
The store itself is quaint and I’ve always enjoyed the music they play. The workers have always been pleasant to me and are easy to speak with.

Maybe a bit hard to find on the first try since the Swami Juice Bar is not directly located on S MacDill Ave but on W Bay to Bay Blvd.
However I had probably one of the best Açai Bowls ever in there (Swami Açai Bowl — simply 10 out of 10!). I also love the «flip your dog» shot: very spicy but very healthy! Unfortunately I found a small piece of aluminium in my bowl and when I adressed it to a member of the staff, they didn’t really care. Kind of disappointing, thinking about what could have happened if I had eaten it.

However, I will come back for sure…

Finally a place where I can get an acai bowl in Tampa! My love affair with acai bowls began on a trip to California and I have been making them at home ever since but it’s nice to be able to pop in and grab one on the go! They have a variety of bowls, juices and smoothies to choose from. I chose the «hemp protein bowl» which had acai, cacao, strawberries, bananas, granola, coconut and peanut butter. The peanut butter was a little much so next time I may go with the classic but it was the perfect post run treat! Can’t wait to return and try some of their smoothies or juices!

Used to love this place, I would get it multiple times a week however the past three times I have been in there was a male employee that took 30 minutes to take an acai bowl, and when I received it the bottom smoothie part wasn’t fully blended, there was very little fruit, and again the long wait time. Decided to go back again because maybe it was just a bad day for him, however same exact thing happened.

Found this establishment by using my nearby ap on Unilocal. I was hot & hungry & needed a smoothie fix. I must admit it is somewhat hidden and out of sight, but the ap told me it was there.
It is on the small side & I lucked out their were only a few customers there.
The staff was great and made me a perfectly blended, all natural smoothie for my late lunch replacement. It was perfect and satisfied all my cravings & was quite filling. I did think their price was a bit high, but you get what you pay for. After reading the Unilocal reviews, I may have to return and try the Acai bowl, it sounds intriguing.
What’s a girl to do? Somehow I found this cool little establishment, with the help of electronics, maybe I can find it again.

Today was my first visit here. I briefly perused the website so I would have an idea of what I wanted when I got there.
It is small inside (not in a bad way!) and was noisy as they were in the middle of making an acai bowl.
I grabbed a Carotene Crush, basically the fresh (–1 star for not being organic) version of V8 — which I didn’t realize until after I started drinking it. It is very good, definitely fresh, spicy and tomato-​y. I prefer green or veg juices to the sweet fruit ones. It was $ 9, and I’m a girl on a budget right now, but the glass bottle is pretty big — 16oz.
I also grabbed a chilled organic coffee for my early morning tomorrow. It was $ 5 and comes in a 12 oz plastic bottle. Instructions advise to lighten and sweeten to taste… Looking forward to sipping on it tomorrow :)
They also have kombucha on tap which I am dying to try now!

My girlfriend has recently introduced me to the goodness that is an acai bowl, and I have to say that I might just be obsessed at this point. There is no greater substance on this Earth to consume after a workout than one of these bad boys. And Swami has a few different options of to choose from. I elected to try the one with peanut butter, and I was very impressed. Peanut Butter can be overwhelming on something like this, so if you don’t want it in every bite, maybe suggest they go a little light with it.
But I really loved the variety of different smoothies and other healthy snacks at Swami. They also have Mother Kombuca on tap, which I love. Just be prepared to have to hunt for the building a bit if you are unsure of where it is. It’s a tiny dwelling next to Byblos, kind of around the corner.

This place can be a little tricky to find, but it’s worth looking (It’s around the back end of the laundromat, towards the overpass). There’s not much seating so if you go with more than 4 people, someone will be standing. But I love this place; the açai bowls are delicious and the cold pressed juice is as well. The juice also comes in these really cool glass bottles, which is reason enough to buy it lol. The staff is super friendly and the environment is really relaxing.
Although I didn’t try it, they have vegetarian and vegan to-​go lunches so I’ll definitely be back to try. Swami Juice is a hidden gem.

Their juices, smoothies and Acai bowls are so good! I would have given 5 stars, but I think they need two people on the weekend and more than one blender. Had to wait 25 minutes for two smoothies and then she got them wrong because you could tell she was stressed from so many people continuing to walk in.

I had heard about acai bowls, and just had to try one while in Tampa. The restaurant itself is a little tricky to find when being led by a gps, it’s kind of behind the laundromat. However, it had a wonderful atmosphere, and extremely friendly staff. The acai bowls were delicious and refreshing, and they satisfied completely as a lunch. I’ll definitely be returning!

Went there today for the first time because one of my friends referred me there. I was bragging how I knew a place that makes great acai bowls but this place does blow others in the area out of the water. I got the hemp protein bowl along with a tub of raw almond butter and almond butter brownies. Out of this world amazing. Love that this place caters to a few of my food allergies. I would love to see more sweet and specialty items to take home that are Paleo safe. Fingers crossed. Can’t wait to try the cold brew next.

Maybe I’m a little late on the whole cold pressed juices fad, but holy cow. After my visit to swami juice this morning, I’m already a fan and believer. I told the girl working the counter I wanted a juice that would help with lack of energy/​sluggishness. She suggested a juice called sunscreen– a mixture of carrot, orange, ginger, tumeric, and cinnamon. I downed it pretty quick and no lie… I felt GREAT the rest of the day. At 9 $, the price is not cheap but average for this particular health drink. They also have a glass return program, bring back 12 to receive a free one.

Great variety of juices. The staff are knowledgeable and willing to take their time answering questions and letting you sample the juices. Also the Acai bowl was pretty amazing.
