Salon At the Walk

I had my hair done by Nicole and OMG she did a wonderful job, I love my hair and it just looks and feels so much better! The salon is very nice and clean, the girls are super nice and asked if I wanted anything to drink right when I walked in. Nicole was super nice and really listened to what I wanted. I will be going back for sure!

The sign says walk ins welcome, but I’ve tried twice in the last month to walk in-​and there isn’t anyone available.

I was feeling a bit compulsive today and wanted to change up look. I searched for some salons near-​by and came across this one. Salon at the Walk had great reviews on here and so I decided to take a chance. Luckily, I was able to schedule a same day appointment when I called. It’s in a nice location with a large lot shared with other businesses like Best Buy, HomeGoods, and Panera Bread (my pet peeve is having to circle a lot for parking. good thing this wasn’t an issue!). When I entered, I immediately noticed the nicely designed interior and tasteful lighting. I checked in and was asked if I wanted anything to drink. I requested for some water (it was hot out) and they pleasantly handed me a small bottle. Great impression so far! I only waited a few minutes before they were ready for me.
My stylist was Nikki and she did a fabulous job! She cut my hair exactly how I wanted and was such a nice person to chat with during my appointment. Usually when I am feeling compulsive about changing my look, I end up regretting it but not this time! She snipped off roughly 4 – 5 inches and I am in LOVE with my new hairstyle. Highly recommend her services and this salon.

I drive across town just to go here after discovering it while shopping nearby. It’s a no-​attitude, friendly, casual chic spot with a friendly, skilled staff. Nikki does great mens cuts and is a perfectionist — expect to stay for about an hour, but you’ll leave thoroughly pleased.

Good service and good experience with my stylist Brittany. She is good at short hair cut! Also the environment is really comfortable and light. I love the service here!

I absolutely LOVE this place! I’ve lived in tampa for almost 5 years and I’ve been dying to find a good stylist and salon that I could always go to. I had originally called their sister salon, Salon Athena, but I came to find out that they had merged with Salon At the Walk and I went ahead and made an appointment for a cut and blow dry. They booked me with Nicole Diskey and from start to finish she made me feel super comfortable! I LOVED the way she cut my layers and she made my hair super healthy while still keeping it long which is exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be going back to HER for my highlights and anything and everything else I want to do with my hair! I would HIGHLY recommend this salon to anyone looking for a good salon!

I had been a patron of Salon Athena for about a year. A few months ago, the owner decided to close the salon, and focus solely on her other location, Salon at the Walk. I was lucky that my stylist, Nichole, transferred to the new location. I have gone through several hair salons and stylists in the last three years, and I have found happiness with this one.
The owner, Barbara, is super nice. She, or the receptionist, always offer to get the patrons something to drink. My stylist is always very attentive, takes her time, and is very friendly. I go to her for partial highlights and hair cuts, and I always leave in a good mood. The new location a nice, small place, and well-​maintained. The prices seem on par with most salons in the area, but are more reasonable then some in areas like South Tampa.

I had a very specific style in mind. I sent the stylist a picture of what I wanted and she assured me she could accomplish the look. My hair turned out nothing like it. It was just a basic blonde which is how I usually wear my hair. I wanted low lights and more depth. I was very disappointed at the end result and the price was atrocious. I was charged $ 240! Not going back.

It’s my first time today at Salon at the Walk and had a great experience with Victoria. The color she used on me was perfect, the cut was perfect, and everyone was genuinely friendly. I’m glad to have found this place. I only wish I found it sooner.

Very clean, friendly staff, and awesome service! Over all a great experience and I was there for 4 hours! The outcome is fabulous and I definitely will visit again.
